Due to reasons, I have taken an interest in weapons from the late Middle Ages, particularly swords, axes, and maces.

Due to reasons, I have taken an interest in weapons from the late Middle Ages, particularly swords, axes, and maces. Where’s the best place to buy these things? For collection, I mean. I don’t care about how sharp they are, I just want a cool sword to hang up on a wall and maybe swing around when nobody’s home

      Based

Late Middle Ages swords are souless.

They're the only cool swords, the rest is crappy eastern designs and brain dead Roman swords that were shit in there hay day let alone the hundreds of years they kept using them

        Renaissance's swords are superior.

One practical use of actual swords that I’ve seen is for hunting hogs with dogs. Random anecdote.

          >swords suck the frick ass at dealing with armor, if you want ezmodo just learn to mace people in the head

Did you talk with captain Bernard and learn those fricking master strokes or whatever? If not do that that's what fricked me over.

1.Most important thing is progressing the main story to unlock parrying and counters.

2.If you want to cheese the game, go all in on bows and just shoot people in the face. It's actually the best way to fight mobs.

            Or just learn master strike.
I finished the game as a naked hobo with a sword. Archets couldn't hit shit because I was naked henry fast.

Me too. It’s a bit frustrating at first but once you have enough armor and the Headcracker skill, it gets fun as frick wasting an entire band of Cumans or peasants all by yourself

Wear as much armor as you can, there are no AGI builds in this game. Watch your stamina and don’t let yourself get cornered. Aim for the head

I liked it too. Although the story and the characters are super cheesy. It's like "Little House on the Prairie" during the middle ages.
