>gets above 70°F (which is 12% of boiling water at 1 atmosphere of pressure at the speed of light measured by a scientist) and becomes a heat causality in 30 minutes
Pathetic.
>Last fucking time I do that shit. I almost passed out from exhaustion
No you learned very valuable information, that it sucks. There is a reason why we train in places that suck.
Looks like I am going on a hike in February again. I am thinking of testing out a Dutch bivvy bag this time. Anyone have winter experience with it? It will be used with a heavy duty 4-season army sleeping bag.
Get some lightweight snow shoes, they are like Godmode when it's deep snow out. I climb hills 3x faster with picrel, they have built in cleats that grip into anything. You expend way less energy using snowshoes too, trudging through knee deep snow in just boots is fucking silly.
No, they're generally in somewhat hi-vis colours so you don't lose them when you take them off in the snow. You can easily solve the problem with a $20 can of plasti dip if you want it camo'd, plasti-dip is the most amazing product ever. They make it in specific camo colours now too.
Mine are the green and black scheme but it'd only take about 1 hour of my time to plasti dip them in picrel if I was so inclined.
My PrepHole bros will be familiar with plastidip, somehow it eludes most of PrepHole though.
I literally hiked my ass up a frozen mountain in actual LARP gear. And when I say frozen, I mean you needed to either wear crampons, or find handholds to.pull yourself up ice sheets >Cote with athletic shirt hidden underneath >Grey sweats hidden under hose >Cloak >Deerskin gloves >Wool socks over cheap cosplay boots, didn't want to ruin my actually nice ones >Maille >Corrazina >Sword, scabbard, and belt pouch with jerky
We didn't even bring fucking water.
Looks like he brought early 90's to early 2000's (rear echelon or national guard) motorized/mechanized infantry gear to a hike in light gear conditions. Just from that shadow.

Don't do it, DPM camo makes you gay. DPM not even once
So you played dress up in the woods and got tired? Cool thread, I guess…
>still has the energy to bitch about it
It's fun
Maybe learn to ski, like everyone who has to move distances in snow do?.
Snowshoes also work if you can't ski. It does take a bit of practice to ski in those combat style skis and with all your gear and a gun.
Snow shoes for some terrain. Depends. Skis for some terrain.

Do they make any in coyote brown? that neon shit wont match my kit.

Rustoleum camo or white duct tape, if it actually matters
At least you went outside, but also yeah. Being out and about in the cold is exhausting.
Now you know why leg day is important moron
The garden gnomes of AW, and adding insult to injury they are busted
