I just bought a X300U and X300T since both were approved for my department and BOTH had bad flickering issues. When I plopped the 300T on my G40 it killed it and needed a RMA. I'm using a TLR1 HL with no issues thus far. Light market seems like a gigantic meme.

Yeah I don't get it, I carry a RMR for work every day and never once had a problem with the emitter nor the battery life. I swear a lot of the complaints about the optic losing zero are because of dimwits using shitty adapter plates or not knowing how to use screws.

I don’t think there are valid complaints about battery life. Having to take it off to change batteries is kinda dumb because you “can” lose zero. However at pistol ranges that isn’t really going to matter.

Also just change them once a year or every other year or whatever. Do it before a range trip and check zero or re-zero. I don’t have an RMR and I’d be annoyed by this but it’s not hard to work around

                Anonymous

if *any* other company besides trijicon forced you to remove the optic to change the batteries, you would shit all over it.

the RMR was only good because it was the first. to do pistol red dots well. it is now obsolete.

                i suppose not, enlighten me.

no other red dot does it to the RMR's extent, not even the aimpoint acro. i prefer color neutral optics with good light transmission

                Anonymous

Not him, it blocks red light transmission through the glass, allowing batteries to run longer.

If you mark where your screws index and match torque specs, you shouldn't lose zero. Same shit with reinstalling mounts or optics on rifles, as long as they're on the same spot and mounted to the same specs you should never lose zero and at worst have to adjust a couple clicks. You're replacing a battery once per year, it's not that bad. I find the process of replacing the ACRO battery once a month to be more tedious in the end because of the frequency

Holosun fans are easily triggered. They have two choices here:
        >attack the user
This is a bad choice because if they have this model of optic, they know the screw is frankly unacceptable and is a fatal flaw for this optic.
        >become unhinged and screech randomly
strangely the more logical option if they have actually used the optic in question

Nobody has rear sights halfway up their RMR/507 window. I've never seen supressor height sights that tall. It's going to be between bottom 1/3rd and just barely in the window. Even if they aren't shooting both eyes open, it's not an issue.

Shit try homie Sig and Beretta armorer certification are for mil/LEO only. You will never see them at gun stores, either they're lying or you are. Probably you because you're an anonymous coward defending Glock.

            >Shit try homie Sig
No they're not. The m18 certification is, because there's limited space and the pistol is MIL specific anyway.
            >Beretta
            No they're not.

Even if that were true, it would just make you look even dumber. Holy frick, Glock is out here actually offering training on how to service and repair their guns, meanwhile the other major manufacturers want to only provide that information to the military or police. You dumb frick, how does that make Glock look bad? Explain your bootlicking homosexualry you communist weasel, don't try to israelite your way out of this one either. Explain right now why you hate Glock for training civilians to use firearms.

              >Glock is out here actually offering training on how to service and repair their guns
I'm not him but near as I can tell the training is mostly "don't polish stuff", "don't use aftermarket parts". I mean Glocks are simple enough, as are all striker pistols that anyone who can't sit down and take it apart and figure it out really should not be carrying one.

                Shut the frick up moron
                >I'm not him but
Then you're even dumber than him. Why rush in to someone screeching that Glock is bad because they have armorer courses when literally every manufacturer has armorer courses? Find some other less moronic conversation to join.

Wait wait wait, did you take the armorer course?
Did you take the armorer course and think that certificate makes you somehow more knowledgeable than someone with an IQ above room temp that simply looked at a Glock once? Morons with certificates are still morons and in this case that's exactly what the course caters to, moron.

How do you like the acro? Is it actually low enough that you have useable co-witness with that setup? I have a USP that I'm considering getting milled for a dot, and I don't want to cheap out, because it's a fun gun.

it's great. My friend also has a PDP, but with an RMR. Side by side the Acro is much nicer to use, no contest.
        >Is it actually low enough that you have useable co-witness with that setup?
        Just barely, yes

ACRO isn't impressive, I waited over a year for EuroOptic to ship mine and still prefer dual illum RMR.

I'm waiting on the Sig optic, think it was called the Romeo 18 or something. Low profile, multiple reticles and shake away features. Trijicon should come out with a RMR 3, enclosed emitter optic. Acro 2 is nice but it's huge, too huge for my liking.
