Do you have a private stack hidden away for emergency situations?
If not why not?
If so what's in it?

    No
    >why not?
I don’t have pop culture induced delusions of grandeur.

I have a safe full of guns, enough water and rations for my family of four to survive several weeks, and a pistol is within reach at all times. Anything more is John Wick LARP.

What if you get caught and have to go on the lam?
You should really prepare for emergency situations. But most Americans don't even have 500 bucks for emergencies, I guess the israelites have indoctrinated you to consume everything and not think of the future.

So you have no armor, huh? A single pistol shot to the chest and you'd be down for the count?

        Anonymous

Nta but here’s a Hispanicy take. Most instances you’ll be down for the count anyways unless you’re wearing armor 24/7 and even then there’s a chance you’ll still be shot/injured depending on what you’re facing. Simply having armor doesn’t make you bulletproof. You have to wear it for it to be effective. For most people, they’re not constantly wearing armor everyday. This leaves 2 primary scenarios for armor:
        1. You have advance knowledge of an armed conflict being committed against you
        2. You are committing an armed conflict against someone else
I’m not doubting the effectiveness of armor, but more so the practicality. It should absolutely be available to own, but I’m willing to bet most people outside of professions that get shot at buy plates so they can play le operator on Instagram. Personally, most people would benefit more from soft armor. That’s just my take though, which could entirely be retarded.

          2 counterpoints.

          1. The emperor of China - ever fearful of assassination - was famous for wearing armor all the time. Even while sleeping.

          2. Modern soldiers wear armor all day.

They do. I've seen it. If that's all you've got in response then maybe you should consider why you're being defensive despite knowing you're in the wrong.

            0. Not really.
            1. But not all night.
            2. They develop back and joint problems, partly from excessive loads, but partly because the biokinetics of plates suck.

this place has become oddly soulless in the last few years. The posters all seem like POG desk cucks or active LEO. There the only people I see with that dour "no fun allowed" mindset.

The failed normalhomosexualry of this place is only occasionally punctuated by retarded edgy attention whoring avatarfagging rural hicks (whom I hate just as much. ARFcom is retarded boomers and neocons. Reddit is all NCD tier glowie homosexualry.

Sometimes it's okay to do things just because it's cool.

In this case it could also be practical, considering the ATF likes to randomly ban things. Having something laid by in a secondary location, maybe with a person you trust, might be a good idea.

NTA but given they generally don't confiscate arms after bans, and there's a thriving black market for smuggled US semis and 1st party norinco/slav surp full-funs, it's very likely he's got plenty of stuff.
There was a retard that used to fedpost in /cangen/ about owning smuggled AKs for ages until he finally got busted blowing up power stations innawoods, for the second time.

    >Do you have a private stack hidden away for emergency situations?
Yes. In my basement i got a pool table with matching benches because it turns into a dinner table
inside one of those benches i have a mossberg 9200 loaded with 00 buck and a ruger p95DC, just in case im in the basement and NEED loaded firearms

    Aside from that
    >over 50 firearms
    >almost 40,000 rds of ammo
    >over 2 months worth of shelf stable food
    >garden and egg laying hens
    >i have "hunted" and ate 8 animals by shooting them from my bedroom window
    >more land i can hunt from is just a walk down the road

    i think im pretty set

Remember to change shells out every year or so anon.
The plastic can swell slightly with pressure from compression in the tube making chambering difficult. It's not really an issue with a pump because you can just force it home but it can bind a semi.
I ran into this issue with the ultralightweight plastic 308 rounds in an AR10. Plastic bulges out a hair and makes it impossible to chamber without hammering the forward assist with your palm.

        >Remember to change shells out every year or so anon
huh, i never heard of this. i'll investigate, thanks

        >over 2 months worth of shelf stable food
That's like 80 pounds of food. Do better.

        >That's like 80 pounds of food
idk, i got 6 cases of mres, some loose mres, and a bunch of shelf stable indian curries idk the weight

Do you crush up the egg shells and sprinkle it in their feed? They need extra calcium cum winter. Yr also gonna need a well that doesnt require electricity, but other than that u seem to have a nice setup

    No, because money.

I do have a variety of contingencies, I just don't have the disposable income to engage in that kind of LARP. Yet. Probably will in a year or so.

I think I'm going to get a PSA 11.5, throw an H2 buffer and a K-Spec BCG in it, maybe change the muzzle device, call it good. Nothing more or less than a horosun. Probably pair it with some compact-ish handgun and a few spare magazines.

I've been trying to find a spot in the local woods where I could stash it and actually have reasonable 3 season access, since the ground freezes solid all winter up here.

Some people are just no fun allowed.
Imagine when you die, years later some kids will be hiking in the woods and stumble upon your stash of weapons. It will be their dream come true, the greatest thing to ever happen to them, like finding a pirate's treasure.

But these dudes are just nooooo, you can't have it.
