Did anyone buy from this company? magnetometer-kit.com

https://magnetometer-kit.com
This kind of product is godsend. I need a kit that can help me find voids and buried cache at a depth of 2 to 5 meters. I can't afford a gpr and it's illegal to own any metal detector here. But this kits will get through the customs easily. They won't know what is it. I can then rebuild it and find the treasure :D.

But I can't find anyone talking about their products on the internet. It feels like a scam. But also like it is not. I'm confused.

If it is a scam, what's a legit alternative. Some kit that I can build and use to find voids or big cache at a depth.

pretty sure you could build this on a breadboard for like $30. Probably less if you are OK with a bar graph instead of a screen. I'd explain how but I'd be repeating hundreds of other tutorials and stuff already out there for using a magnetometer with microcontrollers.

Can you post a link to a good tutorial please? I found this:
      https://www.instructables.com/DIY-Magnetometer-for-Geophysical-Survey-and-Archae/
But I wonder if it would be effective enough for me to find a chamber or the tunnel leading to it. I also have PTSD from a metal detector project I tried years ago and failed miserably at it.

not unless your soil is pretty ferrous and the void pretty big, idunno though. sensors are always getting better and cheaper.

How big it needs to big? I think it's a tomb or a chamber for a buried couple. Or the daughter of some rich roman. My aim is the tunnel. I need a device that can give me any reading to help identify any tunnel underground. Because the chamber or tomb is most likely too deep and has a very solid roof. I need to find the passage.

there are also ground-penetrating sonar-style devices that use vibrations in the soil, CivEs use them a lot. You can rent them (or rent a GPR) instead of buying one, or hire someone to do it for you.

5 meters is pretty deep for that. If so, you're probably better off looking for the entrance.

      >> better off looking for the entrence
That's what I'm trying to do. I have one point of reference. I need to find any part of the tunnel to get a better idea where the entrance might be.
      >> rent one
They rent it or come and check your location for like 15k usd. Not even joking.

Metal detector that cost say 180USD on ebay are sold for 1800USD inside the country. It's pretty much like buying firearms. You can't get a permission to use it except in the south and only to find raw gold ores

But why? I hate nanny states so much. I want my roided up GMO corn with mercury to keep pests away.

TIL there are tons of countries that totally ban metal detectors. Not just shitholes either, there's some in Europe

The circuitry involved is pretty simple and there are a ton of tutorials around. I wouldn't buy this, just build one instead. DIYing one from components and not a labelled "magnetometer kit" will also keep the glowies away. What country?
