Camping and river crossings, but you're better off bringing wet suit booties for that.

Just buy standard Crocs at discount. I buy only white so I can see them in my shelter and the feet on slippery rocks when crossing streams and rivers. Standard Crocs make for superior PrepHole footwear. And their sticky, comfortable as heck and cheap enough.

They're ok for water shoes but imo tevas are better.

They make the best camp shoes for the price. You can clip them on to the outside of a backpack or crush them inside. They float and are usually stable enough for water crossings. You can also get them in a bigger size so it doesn't matter if you're wearing thick wool socks or your feet swell.

I have a pair of Crocs brand sandals with real soles. They're pretty light. Great to wear around camp after hiking in boots all day.

I have a pair of normal crocs, in a super ugly obnoxious bright yellow colour, I use them for getting out the tent at night to piss, I call them my "piss shoes"

      >not just taking a dedicated Gatorade piss bottle
Are you even middle aged yet? You don't even have to get your legs out of the sleeping bag.

mistaking the piss bottle for the water bottle at night for a quick sip is a mistake you only make once, i only piss in a bottle in the winter, but ussually do it before bed at put the bottle in my sleeping bag

cheap pieces of foam then, sorry

you're gonna be hard pressed to find out how little actual sandals are sold now.

most stuff is either soft molded plastic or foam.

people pay hundreds for soft molded plastic yeezy slides that has the same texture as adidas slides for like $40 - $60 and offers everything the exact same

              Target moron consumer detected...
I've got some used underwear for ya. 20 bucks. Hardly any shit stains either. Text me.

man, if seething and coping produced electricity, we could power all or north America just with you guys

They are the ideal shoe for wearing when you are out rock climbing, but aren’t currently on the wall
    >rugged enough to hike the approach
    >easy to get on and off for when you are changing in and out of your climbing shoes
    >close toed, so you don’t have to worry about your toes getting crushed by falling rocks
    Perfect.

aussie hiker here. The most comfortable hiking shoes I've worn are teva hiking sandals. 32km hikes wearing socks and sandals is the most comfy i've ever been. The only problem with them is the back strap busted from it's anchor point in the sole after two years, but ive worn them pretty hard, not to mention I'm 110kg. Great for big flat footed hikers and arent stupid expensive

I just want some shoes I don't need socks for when I just need to go check on animals on the ranch run out to get the mail etc, are crocs actually good for this? I don't mean for wearing on a big ass hike or whatever.
I'd just take the sandalpill but there's nasty ass winters here.

That's what your previous pair of shoes are for. And mowing grass.
