Yes, the population of Vladivostok will welcome the Chinese with open arms.

The nukes are Russia's only real defense from that.

It would be incredible if nuclear war ended up not being global, but between China and Russia, the two of them just lobbing bombs at each other.
Moscow and Beijing, St Petersburg and Shanghai, all just wiped from the earth, a couple hundred mil dead, the folks in DC just going "WTF?" and shrugging.

That's a fair criticism but it would honestly solve so many geopolitical problems.
I say this as a Korean. Fricking Chinese just can't keep to themselves, they have this fricking genetic drive to be all consuming thieves.
I'd rather nukes not fall on China, the fallout would probably irradiate Korea too.

            it wouldn't solve shit, dumass
the massive power vacuum will cause a global free-for-all and likely break the western alliances as all those countries fight each other in trying to carve a piece of russia/china for themselves.
Iran and NK will likely end up nuking everyone and anyone they can because their safety nets are completely gone.
You have to be beyond moronic in thinking that the disappearance of two nuclear powers will not cause a major chain reaction.

Cope more chink, no one is even a fraction as strong to even attempt that but the US. All the technologically advanced c**ts are demographic timebombs who rather give themselves more gibs. All of South Asia is full of land that is going to become shit if global climate change even moves a little warmer, the mud asians have always been irrelevant and the middle east is neither advanced nor have the population and industrial base to cause any problems beyond their neighbors. So who do you think will be trying to enter this power vacuum, Nigeria? lmao

That would be pretty nice. Perfect would be if India and Pakistan also MAD'ed each other as well. For bonus point sprinkle in Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Israel.

I dont know, but a few years ago before this shit started; one of the more militaristic Chinese politicians said that it was still Chinese clay and they wanted it back.

That's what cracks me up about all this, China has more land claims than any country in the world and their stated agenda is to reclaim all of the "Chinese clay" within the next 50 years or whatever. Part of that is currently in Russia. Why does no one talk about this?

The Russians and Chinese have agreements on the border now. So it would require some perfidy from the Chinese to change that.

          It really doesn’t fricking matter
Chink were supposed to be closed ally with Vietnam yet they still invaded that country like it’s nothing
The only thing stop China from starting shit with Russia is nuclear retaliation

iirc Vladistock is like the 3rd or 4th largest city in Russia.
If you think they've put a lot of effort into Ukraine, that's probably only 1/10 the effort they would put into their only pacific port

Dude it's the 26th largest city
It's about 30,000 people less than Memphis Tennessee and about equal to Leipzig Germany if you're a European
For a comparison, it's also about the population of China's 151st most populated city, Yichun, which happens to actually be pretty close by
Besides Vladivostok having strategic importance, it's really mid-sized for a city for population and pretty dang isolated, the only other place of note near it in Russia is Khabarovsk, which is a slightly largert city (23rd in Russia) that's about 750 kilometers away.

Most of China is naturally gorgeous, it's just full of people who think the environment is stupid and would rather consume the whole thing and leave it with polluted water and piles of discarded bicycles.

              It’s too late for that
The original Manchurians could barely maintain their identity, culture or language they could be considered another ethnic of the Han now
Well it’s their fault anyway, ruled China for hundreds of years then lost the Mandate of Heaven. They truly did try segregation but it never really work, then when the commie was in charge it was officially over

      >gobble up the half empty desert steppes of central asia
      >barely inch into areas of higher population density like euro in the same time/centuries proceeding it
Really illustrates well how confusing clay size in when comparing imperialistic constructs in history. A competent comparison is putting it on population density heat maps

I'm glad someone incompetent has all that wilderness instead of greedy Asians who would pollute lake Baikal and ruin it forever while obliterating all the forest to make stupid trinkets.

changs use the same soviet model vatniks are using. Heavily dependent on railway for supplies. To get a idea of what the potential invasion routes are you must compare it to chinese railway networks. That is not to confuse with the passanger centric high speed meme but actual railway used for cargo transport

Less than 10% of Russia's population lives east of the Urals. China could overrun the entire thing easily if you assume Russia wouldn't use nukes (they would)

China could take it in a week assuming no diplomatic interference
