Sure, just make sure they don't catch you. Does your work have metal detectors? Because Fedex locations have them, which makes impossible to even bring a canned soda.
>no metal detectors that i can see. my routes are in shithole parts of the city where i live.
Maybe you could store a pistol offsite, pick it up after you drive out the door, drop it back off when you finish your route?
For the pitbulls, just feed them a meatball with 15g of xylitol (artificial sweetener available in any healthfood store or from Amazon). Dog will die in 2-3 days.
they have metal detectors on the way out, not in. and soda are aluminum and dont set off detectors. fedex workers own their trucks, you can leave it inside. ups get a different truck each morning, leave it in your car and grab it on your way out.
I worked for a security company that did FedEx locations and yes we did metal detectors + pat downs when they came in because it's literally all felon tier shitskins who bring drugs/pipes/needles in. Knives and guns are a concern with these types as well. I found weed pipes, meth pipes, box cutters (presumably to cut packages), along with a few pocket knives they'd try to bring in their shoes, socks, or hoods. The drivers came through our entrance as well as the sorters. We check on the way out but it's for shit they might've stolen at that point.
Package sorting jobs are the lowest of the low, in surprised Amazon seems to do so well when I've seen what their riffraff looks like. They're run like a prison as well, don't even allow unsupervised bathroom breaks. People online complain that Bezos is doing it to abuse them but really it's because you literally can't keep shitskins from stealing. They'll take shit in the bathroom, open it, and pocket it.
UPS Package handlers are union and get paid twice what amazombies are.
Supervisors aren't union and they aren't even allowed to question you if you're going to the bathroom or taking a drink. They're actually required to bring you tons of water and then, logically, let you piss it out. >yeah I'm gonna have to piss for the fifth time this shift >NOOOO YOU CANT YOU CAN'T AAHHH MY BELT YOU'RE WRECKING MY BELT PULL YOUR SHIT MY METRICS ARE GOING DOWN >Yeah- yeah sorry it's just.... I'm gonna piss. Cover me won't you? I'm gonna piss.
did PVD for UPS this past winter and our center also had a little security box with detectors but for whatever reason they didnt bother making the PVDs go through them just check in and out on a sheet so i just kept my knife on me at all times
i used to do package sort at ups right out of high school. it was the best job i ever had. i could completely tune out for 5 hours and stand there sorting shit. it was great, my day felt like it was 30 minutes.
Against company policy means the company can fire you. It does not mean it's against state law or that you'll be arrested. Carry all you want if you're legally able to carry, or even if you're not. OC and knives work against dogs too. Tasers, actual probe spread shooting tasers, definitely work as well. I gave a Doberman a nice ride when it was attacking some kid, that furmoron fucked off real quick. I don't recommend tasers though because you have to get that ideal probe spread and you only get 2 shots. You have better odds with a full can of OC, a knife, a gun, steel toe boots, or picking it up by the legs and slamming it if it's small enough.
>bro like thieves just won't hurt you and aren't deranged crackheads with completely non-functional risk vs reward centers in their brain >also shitbulls don't hurt people either

With how young lawyers and engineers are doing more and more follow home crimes targeting people yeah, its only a matter of time before they start ripping off ups drivers trying to jack your load. Thank democrat policies for no cash bail soft on crime catch and release plus everything is racist for the way things are going. Bring up the possibility of followed delivery drivers to a sane higher up it should be a real concern.
>no cash bail
Cash bail contributes to skipping out because of easy credit and up front fees.it's a bogeyman to hide that the real issue is cost cutting on trials and arrests since those cost a lot
i worked with a dude who almost got beat to death when the other guy assigned to the truck decided to pull some sort of inside job. probably dont have to worry about that one in normal delivery work.
Ask your employer, not us, tard.
If you can, it is up to you, not us, since you know you better than I do.
god forbid i get advice from fellow retards like us chudflake
1. Pepper spray
2. Padded jacket. Put padding and metal in one sleeve and feed it to the shitbull
3. Retractable baton for bonking pitties
a pitty suit would be pretty based in the winter but they're immune to pain. i've seen cases where they've chewed thru metal fencing to try and get at me. i'm thinking something instantly lethal for pitties or something that's instantly incapacitating like bear spray
>i'm thinking something instantly lethal for pitties
Xylitol meatball takes a few days. You'd need a cyanide meatball, and even that would take a few minutes.
You'll get fired and the union won't fight for you. You're an idiot if you decide to do that, if somebody tries to rob your package car just run it ain't worth your life, stupid. You're such a stupid shit you should just work as an insider because clearly you don't have the mental faculties to drive a truck if you can't into risk assessment. What, you think if you shoot somebody's dog that UPS won't terminate you that day? You gonna shoot a crackhead because he tries to steal a fucking instapot from Amazon you just put on somebodies front porch? You're a fucking moron. Go back to unloading trailers, that is a much safer activity that I'm sure you won't feel threatened by. Well, maybe you'll shoot a leaking package that you think is threatening you.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the based libertarian who unleashed a pair of attack Malinois on a federal agent that was fedposting on his property?
This is actually good advice.
The gun may be useful in some circumstances
But not being an anti-social retard and carrying milkbones are the better option except for very few exceptions.
Also knowing which houses to stay far away off their property and just letting their packages soak in the rain and get stolen is another matter to not using your gun. I generally don't like getting
threatened for driving an inch into the grass off a windy pencil thin driveway.
Also your truck is jam packed with censors and cameras. It's already going to work against you in anything you do. If you can point the front end towards the delivery spot it can also work for you.
>never wear headphones
Y'know, I wonder if anyone's bothered to collect statistics on how many victims of crime were wearing headphones when mugged, groped, or otherwise attacked. To a autistic PrepHoleommando like me I never even flirted with the wearing headphones because the idea of getting caught unawares bothers me so, but it clearly doesn't way on many other people's minds.
Some noise canceling earbuds have an “aware” mode just like active earpro which makes it easier to hear stuff around you than id you weren’t wearing them
You wasted a lot of time typing such a pointless fucking message. you obviously don't have a job. I'm not going to defend the truck you flying fucking moron. Go finger more moron turds out of your moron boyfriends prostate and have a nice day. i'm tired of gays like you that need everything explained to them. actual fucking gay. get a job.
I know a lot of you guys carry guns, but if I were you I'd go with something small and blunt, or a sturdy box cutter, unless I was sure my life was in danger. Don't want to lose that nice driver pay over some dumb bullshit.
>you should just work as an insider
Come onto my belt and say that to me gay I'll mis-sort your fucking teeth.

you have two options:
go to your car when you leave and come back.

Both Fedex and UPS have metal detectors.

Only thing worse than a pitbull is the owner and you're on their property.
I'm not a delivery driver, but I carry in a work environment in which it is verboten. Pocket carry is probably your best bet, as there is a risk with ankle carry of your pants riding up and exposing the weapon as you work. If you're allowed to bring a backpack/bag with you in the truck then you can also carry something larger in that to supplement your carry piece. Kel-Tec P-32 comes to mind, or a used P3AT, maybe the NAA Guardian or a Seecamp. With the right pocket holster you should be able to pretty much guarantee the weapon won't print.
And if you ever get in trouble with UPS, file a Union grievance, (if you’re IBT), AND get a JooLawyer to present UPS with a contract wherein they assume TOTAL LIABILITY for any death or injury to you, and care for your loved ones until you are made whole.
Furthermore, demand that this projected amount of money be placed in an escrow fund.
If they want to deny you your civil right to self defense while on the job, they have to take full responsibility for the consequences of doing so with absolutely NO wiggle room to dodge it.
