Finally got a companion for my Python. Can't wait to try it out. What am I in for PrepHole? What do you have? Haven't broken down and got a new S&W. Sticking to the older Colts while I can still find them.

I bought a Trooper Mk III from a buddy for $500 last year. Cool gun
Which version?
the mk III
What caliber and barrel length?
are you stupid?
They come in different barrel lengths and calibers, anon.
New Army, kind of a piece of shit
I like it though
>New Army
>is old as fuck
???
>he doesn't know
Strange how that works
I kind of want the old police hog leg trio of S&W Model 19-4, Colt Trooper Mk3, and Ruger Security Six.
>not a 44magnum
Kys
The Anacondas were never good, they have no cool history except being kind of shittily made in the 90's.
My fun 454 gun for the range.
Is 454 how many lbs you weigh?
This is an 18 and older board
This also isn't reddit, so there's that, gay
Anon… if you look up at the url at the top of your goddamn page and read right before it says “.PrepHole.org” what word does it say?
I've got a new production Python, it's awesome. My only complaint is that they did away with a blued finish option. I've been looking into the King Cobra with the 2" barrel for concealed carry (picrel). I am really tempted to order it online but I know Colt has questionable QC so I should really hold off until I can inspect it in person.
Apparently they quietly released the new Anaconda with a 4.25" barrel this year. I think it looks great, it will likely be my first .44 magnum one day.
check out the review from rangehot on YouTube. he has it with wood grips and it looks fucking sick. totally gonna be my first 44
Damn that looks good. I wish my Python grips had more of that reddish tint to them. This short Anaconda is a stout motherfucker, I love it. When I do eventually get one I'll convince myself I'm doing it for bears or something lol
Doubletap ammo sucks. i was shooting 200gr .357s out of my Model 27 and the bullets were jumping crimp from the recoil. Locked up my cylinder a couple times. Would not recommend.
based colt enthusiast. I refuse to buy from smith due to hillary hole fuckery. Ruger is cool tho
just buy old smiths
they are gud
fair point, old smiths are kino and well-built. for the prices they go for though I'd rather get something new that I can shoot as much as I want without worrying. that's just me though
you can get a good s&w victory model for a little over $400
not on gunbroker rn 🙁
yes

I stand corrected, nice find anon
it was literally on page 1 when I searched 'model 10'
you said victory so that's what I searched, silly billy
when buying old smiths find models whose names are super non-SEO. these guns have gone by a ton of names. Victory, pre model 10, model 10, hand ejector, model of 1905 nth change, military & police etc
Normally guns cost about 40% more in here compared to USA but last week i got almost unused s&w 586-4 for 550 eurobux.
Have the new python(made in 2022 or 2023 new). I like it a lot, amazing trigger. Swapped the shitty sights out for Wilson Combat.
Can't say I know anything about the new anaconda though.
I'm a Smith guy, but I have a friend with a Mk III Trooper and a friend with a new Python and both are nice to shoot.
Very nice. I find the cylinder release button on the S&W's to be more apealing than the colt's dudad.
Same, that's why I sold my soul to S&W. Also I like the look better.
Nice
Right there with ya lads, I’ve used a few colts but the smiths just do something for me. Plus I can get that big bore dick action with my pic related
Impressive, very nice. Now let's see the other side
Beautiful revolvers anon. It's a shame nobody really does blueing anymore. I love my blued model 10 even if it does have a little wear on the finish here and there
>blued model 10
Nice and thank you. I just can't help it. If I find a nice blued old gun I feel like I have to get it if I can, because they don't make them anymore. I can always find and pick up a stainless one.
seriously why don't they do blueing anymore? Do you have to just do it yourself?
>.22lr barrel is thicker than the .357
why is this?
