They wouldn't, because the US isn't going to idly give up its status and prosperity, and any threat to them is an act of war. If daddy ain't happy, nobody happy. Who could seriously believe the US would die quietly? The greatest empire in history calmly rolls over so someone else can take its place? We'd sooner nuke the world than accept one in which we're not at the front. Much of the world's stability is dependent upon US dominance, and would likely crumble in its decline. Shipping lanes would be contested and pirated, security for most nations would be at risk, despots and warmongers would redraw borders and oust governments; not only would we act for our own national interests in securing our dominance, but anyone that doesn't like speaking Chinese or being sent to war relies on that dominance. If you're expecting the US to falter and some pretender to take its throne, good luck, but the species lives and dies with US-led Western dominance. China and Russia can puff their chest, make empty threats, but we don't even have to go to war to destroy them. What part of Military Industrial Complex do you not understand? We've been doing this shit since the 40s. It's a large part of what made us powerful. Then, once we've thoroughly embarrassed them, we vassalize them, put bases in their territory, and sell all that shit we made off to them once we're done playing with it. There is no "running out" or "too much". The only problems stem from not having anyone to use it on, in which case, no problem, we'll make on ourselves like we've done before.

That's their problem, and it's not out of humanitarian concern, or respect of other's sovereignty. They can't go to war, they can't project power, and the only ones whom they have influence over are African shitholes and nearby minor nations. If they actually tried to form a semblance of parity with the US it would bankrupt itself, not even accounting for all the nations at the US' back. Meanwhile the US can start wars for no reason, or under falsified pretenses, and get away with it.

This is what I mean when I say unsustainable. You know all that neat kit the DoD has been buying from the MIC? Well America has been buying it with debt, lots and lots of debt. The amount of money that America is spending just to service the debt is larger than the amount it is spending on defense. For reference the defense budget for 2023 is 773 billion, with the projected budget for 2024 being 824 billion. Why is this a problem? After all "There is no "running out" or "too much"", right? Wrong. This is the hard limit. America losing the power to print money to finance its MIC because it loses it ability to service the debt that backs that money is the wrench in the gears of American power. This is analogous to what happened to the soviet union where a decade in Afghanistan and its unwillingness to give up its commitments to places like Cuba and it's inability to counter things like the SDI led to Gorbachev begging the Chinese (who were quite poor and backwards at the time) for money in the dying days of the soviet union as its liabilities outstripped its assets. Now America is looking down the barrel of a similar outcome with commitments (liabilities) like Ukraine and Israel and Taiwan making up the backbone of us foreign policy while not having enough assets to pay for these outright, hence the debt. America doesn't have to collapse, but if it does it is because it chose to.

The US debt-GDP ratio is only 120%. If it likes, it can commit to reducing debt by reducing Govt expenditures. US can do this IF it wants to because unlike most other Govts, it has a robust enough economy that Govt spending doesn't influence the economy as much.

Completely irrelevant when the debtor is the basis of stability for the lender, which is true for absolutely everyone desiring a modern economy and relative peace. We have infinite money cheats and everyone else is jealous. Anyone that seriously considers debt to be a problem for the US understands neither economics nor the realities of global power. Any hypothetical collapse, again, leads to mass global instability, and wars that would threaten the species. We won't be quietly broken like the Soviets. We would reach our long straw over and such the rest of the world's milkshake until the sea ran dry and the sky turned black before we would allow that. You're right, it would be a choice, and we would choose domination over subjugation in any contingency.

Not going to happen. Trade with the US is too valuable for coutries to give up. The US economy is far less dependent on trade outside of North America than you realize. The dollar isn't the linchpin of American power you think it is.
In 2018 the US imported 540bil in goods and exported 120 billion to china
Through the first 9 months of 2023 that's at 320 billion in imports and 105bil in exports. So we are exporting more and Importing far less (Monthly average YTD is 35bil in imports and 10bil in exports per month)
China export to CAN, Mex, Viet etc. and resell to the USA, enjoy the inflation.
This, while conditions are degraded in Western countries with 'soft power' active measures bullshit, because Reds can only make things worse by design. You don't know what a "cold" war is, do you? It will be lots and lots of economic sanctions and literally nothing else. Fuck your dopamine; it's going to be boring shit unless there are riots in the sanctioned country.
Tell that to every nation and terrorist group we've armed, and every vassal state we've created. Our export isn't solely the product of our industry, and we take advantage of and create war for our benefit. If we ever "can't justify" our spending, we'll justify it. If we need an enemy, we'll create one. If we are ever again in the position where true wartime posture is necessary, that percentage would increase accordingly, and we'd once again supply the whole world against the retards that can't cope with Pax Americana.
The Middle East is the gift that keeps on giving. First they BTFO basedviets, then local internal struggles, then we get to use them as a punching bag for 20+ years, and destabilize basically everyone in the process. >90%+ of all US pharmaceutical and medical consumable are imported from China
USA stand no chance in Cold War 2.0.
Americans are just too ignorant and delusional to know better
Are you the manager stepping in to soothe the feelings of the Chinese people, or just another drone?
Do you think you'll live to regret giving your peasant class a taste for meat when the food imports stop?
Long Pork Fried Rice made authentic from bossman Mr. Long wouldn't be my first choice, but I have other options.
Also, if you've yet to grasp the concept: the first world is willing to buy shitty products from the third world as long as they're inexpensive and not blatantly trying to fund a new world order. Getting uppity when you have nothing but serfs to offer doesn't benefit you, especially when you try to add women to the four pests campaign and fuck your demographics.
>Also, if you've yet to grasp the concept: the first world is willing to buy shitty products from the third world as long as they're inexpensive and not blatantly trying to fund a new world order.
Soon you won’t even have the capacity to do that once everyone ditches the dollar
Soon you won't have the capacity to reproduce.
Already you breathe smog and eat gutter oil pretending it is a glorious, faultless existence.
Amerinsect cope. 10 years from now you’ll be trading in Yuan
You have a poor track record against insects.
and birds. and rodents. and famines. and women. and first world nations. and building codes. and escalators. and crosswalks. and the production of anything of quality.
I'd rather not continue for the sake of your social credit score.
>10 years from now you’ll be trading in Yuan
LOL. LMAO even. Did you guys launch a new "Yuan***" in game digital currency for a shitty spyware app or something, because brics has made so much traction right?
>Soon you won’t even have the capacity to do that once everyone ditches the dollar
This time for sure he says for the 30th year.
Its already happening
>Its already happening
Been already happening for 30 years, this time for sure lol.
Remninbi is actualy on a slow but steady decline, US is roughly flat at roughly 20 times the total. as a reserve currency that is.
both the dollar and euro are falling. The dollar went from nearly 80% of the global reserve to under 60% in 20 years
It might not be the yuan but everyone will ditch the dollar like whats already happening with Russia, Brazil, Argentina and many others
We're currently digging through our national couch for pocket change that's grinding Russia into the ground. They're heavily depleted on any equipment that could be considered semi-modern, and we've sent our old mothballed hand-me-downs.
>unsustainable
What part of Military Industrial Complex do you not understand? We've been doing this shit since the 40s. It's a large part of what made us powerful. Anyone that could possibly pose a threat would run out of equipment and raw resources well before we lose steam.
You won’t do shit. Muttmerica will just slowly fade into irrelevancy until it collapses under its own retardation.
This isn’t a “if” scenario, its already happening.
>doesn't like speaking Chinese or being sent to war
Say what you like about China (dem niggas eat bats lmao) but they don't seem to like starting wars.
So, too, would follow the world. There's no scenario in which the US collapses that doesn't entail global upheaval and the threat of extinction. Seethe about the US all you like; life as you know it exists only by its presence and strength. But I'm sure your Communist handlers will treat you fairly, wumao.
>There's no scenario in which the US collapses that doesn't entail global upheaval and the threat of extinction.
Lol, lmao even
He's completely correct, and I'm curious if you have a possible scenario in mind that's deeper than "my shithole will rise to the top"
Other than Canada i can't think of a single nation that would be affected if mutts were to be nuked tomorrow. China would just smoothly take your place
Sometimes I wonder if this is basic paid shilling, or if there are "people" dumb enough to actually believe a post like this
What do you even produce that China can't? Literally everything mutts make is made using parts from China
>hypothetical cold war thread
>BRICS stronk!
Fucking laughable
Hey, also how was WS-15 China "homegrown" engine by the way you should thank Russia for that
>BRICS not stron-ACK
>Poor peoples points
Kek
PPP is all that matters in the end, per capita is cope
Nope, regular GDP is all that matters, poor people's points is just to make poor people feel good about their shithole.
>PPP is all that matters in the end, per capita is cope
Kek, do you even know what PPP is?
>If
They did try to reach the US's level of soft-power with their belt and road initative, so far as i'm aware they are in the 'writing off debt because it'll never be paid for' stage of finding out.
America doesn't have to collapse, but if it does it is because it chose to.
thats a lot of words trying to find a possible way that america won't stay winning, chang
The US debt-GDP ratio is only 120%. If it likes, it can commit to reducing debt by reducing Govt expenditures. US can do this IF it wants to because unlike most other Govts, it has a robust enough economy that Govt spending doesn't influence the economy as much.
>Gold will obviously
Then it's a good thing that the US not only has plenty of gold, its main competitor (China) has quite little relative to its economy
>In an age of many rising competitive empires
Such as?
>there's no reason why anyone won't just start trading in their own currency
Russia just had a salutary lesson why NOT
>At least China, India and Russia will do so
So why haven't they?
>the rest will just follow
which would quickly lead to US-based arbitrageurs making a killing on USD pairs
>Russia just had a salutary lesson why NOT
The opposite, Russia just proved how easy and effective ditching the dollar and euro was
tell me more about the petro-ruble deal with India, how's that working out?
you mean like this? how them rupees treating you pidor kek
>lots and lots of debt
The Debt isn't a debt, it's a tax that the rest of the world pays the US.
The rest of the world buys US debt to sustain it so the global economy can continue.
ssshhh anon, they haven't figured out yet that they're just our tributaries and client states at this point
if you lend Microsoft money, is that a tax you pay Microsoft?
if you lend Microsoft money, are you paying tribute to Microsoft?
If I owe you fifty dollars, that's my problem. If I owe you six hundred trillion dollars, that very much becomes YOUR problem.
>scalar values

>nearly 80% of the global reserve to under 60%
59% is technically correct, but 70% is not "nearly 80%"
no dominant currency has come up to take its place. EUR remains where it is, second place at ~20% as it was 20 years ago
>It might not be the yuan
certainly not, at 2%
>but everyone will ditch the dollar like whats already happening with Russia, Brazil, Argentina and many others
none of whose currencies show any significant gains in holdings
care to nominate which currency has been the gainer of the lost 10%? which do you think will be the currency that will rise up and supplant the US dollar?
>US devotes large parts of its budget to unsustainable levels of military procurement instead of investing in critical social and public institutions
the defence budget is less than 4% of its GDP, and the military is essential to defending a rules-based free-trade world order
>Military Industrial Complex
the defence sector makes up less than 1.5% of the US economy
the entire defence segment of the S&P500, including Boeing's civilian air division, is less than Nvidia alone
the US exports consumer goods, not war
>the US exports consumer goods, not war
You are incorrect anon, the largest US export sector is services, followed by various high-tech manufacturing sectors. Most consumer goods are in that little green rectangle at the bottom right.
The US military industrial complex is indeed extraordinarily well-developed, and you're a fool if you believe otherwise. Very little of our defense spending leaves our borders.
I wasn't using "consumer goods" in the strict export market segmentation sense, just like there is no "war" segment per se in that pretty chart you posted
>Transport services
The hell are we exporting here? SpaceX launches?
most likely shipping
It's probably a broad category of logistics services. A lot of shit that is critically important but most people never think about because it's behind several layers of complexity
Most of that shit is made using parts from china
But China is not the one selling it, because nobody buys Chinese stuff, not even Chinese
thus China is doomed to be the manufacturer of goods for others to markup and sell
>no dominant currency has come up to take its place.
Gold will obviously. In an age of many rising competitive empires there's no reason why anyone won't just start trading in their own currency. At least China, India and Russia will do so, the rest will just follow

I don't even really understand why thirdies harp on dedollarization. You're all still going to want USD because you're all still going to want Americans' money. There's basically no one else who everyone else wants to trade with as much as the US.
>You're all still going to want USD because you're all still going to want Americans' money.
What money kek? Literally noone will trade in your currency. If you want to trade with anyone you'll pay in their respective currency
>hi there I want to sell stuff but I'll only accept payments in MeCoin, here's my exchange rates
even a fucking cryptobro can see the flaw in that, you're literally stupider than Chad Boredmonkey from r/cryptocurrency
is working well for china
is it really?
what's the global foreign currency reserve holdings of renminbi?
Not going to happen. Trade with the US is too valuable for coutries to give up. The US economy is far less dependent on trade outside of North America than you realize. The dollar isn't the linchpin of American power you think it is.
Yes.
>Most US stuff is imported from our 3rd largest trading partner
That's not how that works.
Looking at it total trade between the US and china is around 420mil, Canada is 580mil and Mexico is right at 600mil.
China export to CAN, Mex, Viet etc. and resell to the USA, enjoy the inflation.
Not how that works at all, but whatever.
Didnt Xi piss off all of SEA? I heard Vietnam was cozying up to the US
>>US weapons and military equipment are 60%+ parts imported from China.
Good one.
Canada? Or is it Mexico now?
>>go to war
>>with your primary trading partner
I truly believe the Chinese are dumb enough to do it.
I don't think it will be the Chinese to instigate a war. USA stands to benefit far more and is currently ahead in space.
>USA stands to benefit far more
wrong
the US and its allies benefit the most from peace and the current world order
The russians did it with europe
>china does nothing except more posturing
>russia implodes
>life continues as normal
Delusional with no self awareness whatsoever
This, while conditions are degraded in Western countries with 'soft power' active measures bullshit, because Reds can only make things worse by design. Which ultimately won't be any more or less hairy than the 70s or 90s. Sucks to be technological cargo cults in Eurasia or wildly overbred Africa, Middle East & Asia.
The US collapses due to being homosexual retards just like the Soviet Union did

So I have some questions if any of you are Chinese.
>When Grorious Revorution 2.4 drops, which side do spam farmers fall on, i.e. are you part of the gets eaten or eater class?
>Do they hand out sticks and send you to fight on the borders when you lose usefulness in your current capacity or do you attempt to troll to the bitter end?
>Has your boss been replaced by AI yet, and now you have have to figure out how to suck off a robot to prevent budget sky net from walking you into the sea towards Taiwan aka the OG China?
So many questions, so little time.
>4U.
BTW, the suicide nets probably can’t hold all of you if you go at once.
I need you to understand something.
There are no Chinese citizens on this board, you sound like a retard pretending there are.
It should have said: US devotes large parts of its budget to unsustainable levels of military procurement instead of investing in critical social and public institutions, depletes its reserves of social trust, and then succumbs over an extended period of time to unmitigated internal issues, ultimately culmination in an acute economic and political crisis that breaks the system completely.
>unsustainable levels of military procurement
If by "unstainable levels" you mean near-record lows, then yes.
>muh peace dividend
you have to go back (to 60's defense spending levels)
Russia isnt going to pose a threat to anyone white or slanty eyed for a generation or so. China/US prize fight probably wont happen, but one side has homies, the other does not.
>Russia is involved in a forever-war that only ends when Putin is dead
>Iran and North Korea will autistically screech about how the next "red line" crossed will mean destruction of their enemies...but all they will do is keep killing their own people
>China isn't going to make a violent move because the instant war begins, their economy ceases to exist in terms of going across oceans, and their military buildup is halted as their production facilities and yards become targets
>All while the US and its allies continue to bolster defenses and develop counter to specific threats
I'm not too worried.
Sweaty naggers
the forger is so cute, too bad it was a turd
>The US bankrupts itself
>NATO collapses
>Russia pushes all the way to East Germany with ease
>Iran nukes Israel
>China does nothing and wins
>US bankrupts
>still dwarfs Russian economy
>rebuilds without debt and leeches
>Chinks overstep bounds, takes over regional nobodies in Africa for unpaid infrastructure debts and gemeralds
>NATO funded rebels kill Chink funded forces
>Chinks Sneed, cope, dilate
>Starts aggressive internal campaigns to drive NATO hate and promote nationalist fervor
>makes deals with other NATO hating countries like Norks to stoke tensions and provoke NATO action
>US vastly overestimates true threat Chinks pose, believing them to possess technology and capabilities they do not, or to make moves they cannot realistically make
>In a blind autistic anti-commie panic, US develops highly advanced and totally unnecessary technologies to counter the perceived threat
>eventually the cardboard cutout of China's image falls over, revealing the internal rot and incompetence
>CCP collapses without anything of significance occurring
>US uses aforementioned technologies to further bolster its global position of being 100 years ahead of the rest of the world
>Eventually US gives said tech to Israel, whom promptly sells it to Russia and China
>wash, rinse, repeat
And so all was right in the world, knowing that World War 3 is impossible because the US fools itself into sheer and utter dominance by overestimating our rivals and preparing our forces to fight a war against an enemy that never existed. Then they still get drawn into unwinnable asymmetrical conflicts with illiterate thirdies whom believe death gives them 72 goats to sex. Middle East eventually occupied as new settlers of Greater Israel move in.
Nice fiction, mutts can't even make working ICBMs anymore
>t. coping Chicoms mad that their only external dominance is a starving dictatorship and African dirt farmers
Ya hate to see it. If only they would call that bet and learn firsglossing utter disparity they're up against. Don't worry, wumaos, China can still be numbah 1 in your hearts, just not in reality.
>mutts can't even make working ICBMs anymore
The newest ICBM in our arsenal was manufactured in 1978. How's it feel to be so far behind a country that's been enjoying the peace dividend for the last 32 years?
Mongolia wins
Total Western Victory*

>People predicting violence
You don't know what a "cold" war is, do you? It will be lots and lots of economic sanctions and literally nothing else. Fuck your dopamine; it's going to be boring shit unless there are riots in the sanctioned country.
Nothing happens, again.
>the US exports consumer goods, not war
Tell that to every nation and terrorist group we've armed, and every vassal state we've created. Our export isn't solely the product of our industry, and we take advantage of and create war for our benefit. If we ever "can't justify" our spending, we'll justify it. If we need an enemy, we'll create one. If we are ever again in the position where true wartime posture is necessary, that percentage would increase accordingly, and we'd once again supply the whole world against the retards that can't cope with Pax Americana.
>we
Don't pretend.
I pay my taxes, so I get to use the Royal "We" mom said so.
>I pay my taxes
Don't pretend.
What are you the IRS?
>we'll create one.
Iran and China appear to be giving great value for money one must say
The Middle East is the gift that keeps on giving. First they BTFO basedviets, then local internal struggles, then we get to use them as a punching bag for 20+ years, and destabilize basically everyone in the process. When things get too peaceful, a care package to our favorite suicide cults is in order.
The US imports more naggers, Indians and Chinks, increasing its withering on the international stage.
BRICS is not a thing. Stop trying to make it a thing. You're not getting a second Warsaw Pact or COMECON.
A bunch of weakened economies trying to cooperate to salvage something (while subbing the West) is not going to topple the EU or NATO, partnerships, I remind you, which were revitalized thanks to the stupidity of a certain BRICS "member".
>topple the EU
God I wish.
BRICS is about half of the world population. Do you realize just how much them ditching the USD and trading in some unified currency will be for you?
Why would they do that?
Im pretty sure thats the only reason why brics exists in the first place
It exists as a marketing gimmick
The BRICS currency is under development
>two more weeks
I don't buy it because it'll have to be under China's control as they are the only nation of the lot with money, which would make it just as valuable as yuan.
The New Development Bank isn't under China's control
>India will stop fighting with China and unite their central banks
lmao
This BRICS?
So all the economic isolation of the Soviet system, carried out by nations that can't stop arguing with each other over land, resources, and other questions. This will go over well.
Teaming up for the greater good? Makes perfect sense. As bad as their relations might be everyone agrees that the US should be taken out first before they can set aside their differences
>As bad as their relations might be everyone agrees that the US should be taken out first before they can set aside their differences
Do you have a source for this claim?
>BRICS is about half of the world population.
50% of the worlds population provide 29% of its GDP.
Meanwhile the less than 10% of the worlds population living in the G7 account for 43% of world GDP.
Yeah, BRICS is the future and GDP per capita doesn't matter.
Will largely go like the last one. People fear nuclear war and only insane people want to see the world destroyed. Especially over stupid shit. There will be some dumb proxy wars here and there.
muttcels malding
Why do people talk about BRICS as if it's a concrete economic organization and not a term used to refer to several countries with growing economies?
What do those growing economies have in common? The same enemy they want to get rid of.
But they dont
Russia and China are the only countries that give a shit, and Russia is well on its way to being just as irrelevant as the rest of the acronym.
Brazil is dumping the dollar for yuan as well also SA accepting to trade in other currencies. It's over

so how much yuan does Brazil hold now, and how much USD?
Its the 2nd currency in foreign as of right now from being absent. Nice things take time but its a good start
How far away from 1st place is 2nd?
It can't surpass the dollar overnight you know. Good things take time
I'm not hearing a number
how far away is the yuan from the USD?
You're already letting them move the goalposts, we started with
>Brazil is dumping the dollar for yuan
and now we're at
>Ok well actually its the second foreign currency and actually they aren't dumping it yet and and and....
oh no
I KNOW Brazil didn't dump any dollars
I was wondering how much prevarication it would take him to admit it, if at all
Even if the were, Brazil would probably switch back during the next administration when the current one fails to improve things with this policy.

Even then it probably wouldn't work.
Not related but fuck me do I have a thing for the Kiev class carriers, particularly the first two (not the Baku subclass)
Do the changs not realize how absolutely desperate they appear in these threads
God a Chinese Yak-38 clone would be so cool. One of the few things left the Chinese havnt surpassed from the Soviets.
Does anyone else seem to realize that NATO hatred has increased on the board since China cucked out of Taiwan?
anons why are chink, vatnik and pajeet monkeys so insufferable pieces of shit. We are enjoying unprecedented levels of prosperity with burgers keeping the sea lanes secure for global mass trade yet these shitbirds just cant keep seething and shitting the bed
cultural insecurity. China was literally the center of the earth (literally call "middle kingdom) until a forgein barbarian completely wrecked them so hard it almost 2 centuries to get back on theri feet, India has basically only recently been. astate when before they were a part of a foreign kingdom, and Russia has thought itself for the past few hundred years to be the rulers of Rome only for in the span of 20 years lose it all because their subjects racially hate Russians and prefer their western enemies. All three hate the west in some respect, all three see themselves as the superior race to the rest of the world, and all three have not experienced the necessary ego death that japan got when Perry came in.
