    Fun fact: A lot of MRVs and other armored vehicles from Afghanistan ended up in Pakistan.

    Pakistan bought them at a price higher than scrap metal partly because these vehicles are useful for Pakistani counter insurgency units and partly because they don't want these vehicles to be used by Taliban themselves.
