Cope. Unlike Chiner, the US doesn't have to rush in a structure that was thermally compromised just to save face, and show a capability. The US can replace it, but has 7 to replace it with, so rushing it back to service would've been stupid.

to be fair it is a tad bit impressive that the car can still be fully operable after getting torched, that's almost on par with a old school toyota Hilux

I don't think my cousins in Taiwan even care much about their blustering. Only ever hear about normal family issues.

Its funny, I have a aunt and uncle living in the mainland and they barely talk about the economy, they complained about the approximately 5-9% wage reductions and restrictions to how much money they could withdraw from the bank in a day. But overall are totally okay with it because the price of everything fell by 10% on average. Big ticket items like EV cars, bicycles, furniture or property in some second and third tier cities have fell by more then 50% and continue to go down. So according to them, quality of life has improved.

I asked them about other issues like youth unemployment, they really didn't give a shit about that because youth unemployment numbers have always been double digits if not higher and they said because the CCP has a retarded way of reporting all youths attending the last 3-6 months of uni, college, or vocational and technical schools from graduation as "actively seeking jobs" and "unemployed" regardless if they were looking for jobs or not.

Likewise they expressed apathy about the flooding as only the Mentougou and Fangshan districts got the worst of it, most of Beijing is still intact and in some area barely received light drizzles but the nearby rural countryside got hit the hardest, but nobody cares or tolerates rural chinks.

That's deflation. At first it's nice, because hey, great, everything is cheap. But the longer it goes on the worse it gets. Your wages start getting cut, or you lose your job because your company isn't making as much money as it used to. Your house decreases in value. But the worst of it is this: Everybody knows everything is getting cheaper, so why buy something today when you can wait until later to buy it for less? So consumption completely seizes up, real-estate transactions stop, everybody just sits on cash with no incentive to buy anything beyond the basic necessities until the economy implodes.

          >Your house decreases in value.
Which is the original problem here because even according to their own propaganda rags the average household owns close to nothing except real estate.

An even bigger problem in a country with an unprecedentedly overbuilt real estate sector and a decreasing population. The next 10 years are going to see 60-80% of Chinese household wealth wiped out, never to return.

The only way out would be to bring in immigrants to prop up the population total. Obviously there can be huge downsides to this, depending on the quality of the immigrants. However this won't even be an option for China if they wanted to try, because who's going to leave their homeland to live in a horribly polluted, totalitarian shithole with a structural shortage of women?

And what third world immigrant (if any is willing to go to China) will be able to afford bubble priced housing?

The economy needs a larger younger generation if it's going to work under its current real estate based regime. So I don't know how long it takes, maybe 10 years, but they just aren't fixing the demographic issue.

There is no fixing the demographic issue at this point. The the next two generations to reach economic maturity have already been born. On top of an inverted demographic pyramid (a common problem in industrialized countries), China is dealing with a significantly skewed sex ratio (5% more males than females) because during the times of the One Child Policy Chinese couples strongly preferred that that one child be male. 30 years of sex-selective abortion is a helluva drug.

A lot of the trolling on any board on this site is basically a bunch of kids working psyops for various countries. If you're a 2nd rate nation or better you can afford to hire a few thousand people to run sentiment manipulation and all sorts of stuff. Then you gotta add that to everyone else that is just a regular person here of their own free will and they like to bitch about stuff too.

It's because they are their country is unable to produce enough food to feed everyone because they've destroyed their environment polution and arable land in favor of building tofu buildings everywhere. it's why they're an importer of food from countries like Brazil. Patently false. You're a moron.
The vast majority of Chinese agri import is to feed the pig herds. Chinese cereal production is relatively expensive but the yield is high. If you weren't such a fucking moron, you would realize how retarded your assertion is. If China can't feed its people and imports food, then how did they ACCUMULATE the world's largest grain reserve?
