Are you considered a pathetic dumbass if you fall into one of these?
Does it happen a lot?
Does the guy's NCO get paperwork?

No.
Idk, not gay enough to join navy.
HCP/ OSHA, so yes.
I don't see why someone would be considered a dumbass for not falling to their potential deaths.
When my dad was serving in the Canadian Navy during the 80s he would occasionally take naps in them, or at least that's on of his stories.
sounds comfy
When I was in the Coast Guard we had these around the helo deck of cutters and people would sunbathe in them on patrol.
Because it’s assumed that one of the basic skills for a sailer is that they don’t fall the fuck off the boat…. Cope nets shouldn’t be needed.
>Safety equipment is dumb
>Because it is okay!
Wow. I didn't know robber barons had time machines. I am sure your yelling at your construction workers made them feel better as the plummeted to their deaths.
Prior ordie here. Flight decks can be incredibly hectic. Besides combat roles, it's the most dangerous environment in the military.
So it's going to happen every once in a while. In my experience, the worst that will happen is you get yelled at and called an idiot.
Imagine jumping into one in order to get out of the way.
"In my experience"?
The Sea can be a cruel mistress.
wow, funny how 10-15° of roll on a carrier looks crazy, but doesn't feel like much on a 26' sail boat.
Yes, well, being on a sailboat feels much different than a floating apartment building.
Angles get “bigger” the longer the radius is. The taller the ship the worse a single degree is
Midway rolled to 26 degrees once. They issued a morale patch afterwards
Turns out that refitting a WWII era carrier to have an angled deck and increasing the tonnage by a third really fucks with it's stability.
Fuck that
The carrier is at 26° in that photo. Which is really fucking wild when you're like 60ft up from the water on the flight deck, I don't even want to think about being 180ft up in the bridge when it's rolling like that, literally being flung like 150ft side to side.
yarr
They've happened a few times
Its scenic hammock
Can you fuck on aircraft carriers?
Go to the mess deck after 1800, find the female sailor with her buckle turned the wrong way, and ask her the same question. She might charge you money to get the answer though.
bro were on PrepHole, do you think we know shit bout fucking
could you fuck before?
well anon, it's as they say: "it ain't gay, while underway"
"Its not queer if tied to the pier"
Should probably be "It's not queer until tied to the pier".
I seen someone on telly say 'if it can happen it will happen' once and it obviously applies to this
>Are you considered a pathetic dumbass if you fall into one of these?
sometimes it's not hard to be a pathetic dumbass, but being an alive pathetic dumbass is just enough.
>Are you considered a pathetic dumbass if you fall into one of these?
If you're not one of the people flying the jets on a flight deck yes, you are considered a pathetic dumbass in general, don't need to bring nets into it
