They found it a threat enough that CBC has written numerous articles on it. Many police headquarters and RCMP have begun treating this is as threat.
What are the consequences? Will the Canadian government be successful in eliminating 3d printed firearms?
>Will the Canadian government be successful in eliminating 3d printed firearms?
lolno
Why do people choose to live in Canada? I honestly don't get it
>inb4 MUH HEALTHCARE
You mean the healthcare system that denies your benefits and suggests killing yourself if they think you will cost them too much money?
Country's gone downhill quick but for me it's family + innawoods access
Do both
>for me it is family and innawoods
Have you considered MAID? All c*n*di*ns should just hasten the inevitable day of the rake.
Worthless leaves are not welcome in the US, if you ever realize that the syurp still has come to a boil with you inside I hope you remember this post and how much you value your family who manifested the situation into reality and the indian forests you arent even in right now
>how much you value your family who manifested the situation into reality
My family are good God-fearing folks ruled by the worst people alive, much like most Americans are. If this is their fault then the GAE is your fault, homosexual.
>My family are good God-fearing folks ruled by the worst people alive, much like most Americans are. If this is their fault then the GAE is your fault, homosexual.
Everyone's local situation is their own fault. Mine, yours, everyone. GAE as a buzzword is just a way for nogunsistani homosexuals to once again pretend they have no role in their own oppression.
Self-own
>man of few words
He's obviously not that
>Everyone is largely responsible for the situation that surrounds them
>Lol that means UUUUUU
What a dumb homosexual you are.
Go to Alaska.
That was literally one person who was fired.
Leaves and burgers pay basically the same taxes but one gets health care and the other gets bailouts and grants for megacorps paying dividends to billionaires.
>literally one person
No
>pay basically the same taxes
Income tax is comparable, absolute tax burden is much higher in Canada
>one gets health care
USA healthcare quality is far better, any Canadian with medical needs & money goes to USA
>bailouts and grants for megacorps
Literally happens all the time in Canada
lmao yea, and a bill of rights
Canada has a Bill of Rights
It was just superseded by the absolutely cucked Charter of Rights and Freedoms, written by a literal cuckold, which says in its preamble "actually these are privileges the government can decide to restrict but we totally promise it'll be for your own good"
All rights not backed up by the threat of violence are definitionally privileges.
Correct but it is extra-cucked to spell it out where it's codified in law
Thats fair.
>You mean the healthcare system that denies your benefits and suggests killing yourself if they think you will cost them too much money?
This happens in America too regardless.
That's why my cousins lost their generational family home.
Their mother got cancer, her "great" insurance company denied her coverage because they didn't think certain treatments were "medically necessary", she spent her entire savings and drained her retirement fund in the meantime paying out of pocket, and went deep into debt.
She survived, then spent the next two years attempting to sue the insurance company for the debt.
Cancer came back (I'm sure the stress played a part).
Hospital put a lien against the home she owned free and clear for the unpaid medical debt.
This is apparently legal in VA, they can seize your house for up to 20 years post-debt.
She dies, her children are faced with the option of coming up with the money to pay the debts or the house would go to auction.
Kids all early 20's, have no way to get this money.
House went to auction.
United Healthcare's israeli wallstreet investors get another penny to rub between their fingertips.
And you stupid b***hes keep going on about the mythical efficiency of the private healthcare system like you can't stop sucking off Republican capitalists or you'll die.
Profoundly based
>wow states that fought for ownership of humans and operated debtors prison are a shit place to live in current year zomg
You live in a shithole too moron, you are just as bad as the leafs
>inb4 for me its frickin my kin and gettin' chiggers in the indian forests
Your cousins at least live in a shit place I mean
Brown hands typed this
>fought for ownership of humans
kys yankee
>Florida, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi (repealed in 1989), Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wyoming are the only states without statewide lien law provisions.
If you don't live in one of those states, it can happen to you too, and there would be nothing you could do about it.
>Michigan
For everything wrong with this shithole it still finds ways to be based
Florida > Texas proven yet again, God bless
I'm sorry she got cancer, but she was going to die anyway, shouldn't have gotten treatment
Maybe if she hadn't been forced to halt treatment temporarily while bickering with a doctor employed by united healthcare to review and deny coverage who had never met her, didn't know how long she had been receiving treatment, and didn't even know what type of cancer she actually had, and then forced into two years of stressful legal battles while she recovered from intense chemotherapy, she would have.
Again, she was insured, the best plan they offered. She paid into her insurance for decades. She ate healthy, exercised, did everything she could as "correctly" as possible.
Privatized, for profit health insurance is a curse on this land. It's exactly the same thing as socialized medical coverage, but with an added incentive to profit wherever possible by both overcharging clients and denying coverage as frequently as they can.
United Healthcare made $47,000,000.00 on average for every single day of 2021 after all taxes and expenses, BTW.
That's $47m in profit stolen every single day from the American people.
>Commie implements half of his system, fricks the market
>Complains that the market is fricked, proving the market doesn't work
The classic.
>Hospital put a lien against the home she owned free and clear for the unpaid medical debt.
>Not selling the house to an LLC formed by her kids for a dollar, or better yet an irrevocable trust
Dumbasses deserved it, if you don't want to get fricked by israelites you literally need to git gud
>Dumbasses deserved it, if you don't want to get fricked by israelites you literally need to git gud
The debt pr-eempts this legally, you fricking slack jawed moron.
If every idiot who suddenly fell on hard times could simply sell off their assets cheaply to friends and family to hold while they went bankrupt, everyone and their brother would do it. It would be another story if she had sold her assets to her kids or formed a trust before getting cancer and getting screwed by a company that decided it didn't want to perform the function they literally exist to service, and EVEN THEN there would almost certainly be legal suits brought against the trust or children to try to reclaim some portion of the assets.
Had me going until the last sentence, then I realized that this is yet another NAFO troon gaslighting attempt.
>sell off everything you have to scrape out a few years
>rEpBliCanS dId tHiS
b***h deserved it.
Shoulda just shot them lol you won't use them.
>Why do people choose to live in Canada?
Because it's one of the best countries on Earth.
I love how high up the list Japan is for freedom. What a funny joke.
>I love how high up the list Japan is for freedom
The Japanese are pretty free. Guns are the only thing they can't really do whatever they want on.
There's a debate to be had about whether you're free or not if you can't do something but nobody wants to do it anyway. Like, if there is a disproportionate punishment for self-inflicted lobotomies, am I less free?
They've been taxed into driving golf carts around.
>There's a debate to be had about whether you're free or not if you can't do something but nobody wants to do it anyway. Like, if there is a disproportionate punishment for self-inflicted lobotomies, am I less free?
Yes, because you don't have the freedom to choose it. It's simple anon.
there is almost no gambling in Japan, not free
They don't get to have guns but they do get to have no immigration which is pretty based
Hello, homosexual shill.
Still seething on /cangen/?
>freedom level: 100
kek
I'm not even sure how you measure "freedom" and some of these other frankly arbitrary concepts like "transparency." Who the frick came up with these stats and why should anyone believe them?
>% of adults who say immigrants strengthen their country
How the frick does people's opinion affect how well their country is working?
>Australia and Japan are near the top
LMAO THEN WHY DON'T THEY LET ANYONE IN!?
>I'm not even sure how you measure "freedom"
The homosexuals who write these indexes do it based on how much gibs the government hands out. The easier it is to live cradle-to-grave on welfare in your country, the higher it will be on these lists.
This just tells me canadians should move to Finland.
>Why do people choose to live in Canada?
Coping, fear, inertia, why do you think?
People should live in their homeland
If their homeland sucks, like Canada, they should make it better instead of swarming better countries
>If their homeland sucks, like Canada, they should make it better instead of swarming better countries
Many times, this takes nearly an entire lifetime or longer. The majority of people in any country at any given time are not going to just live a shit life so the next generations can have it better. America became the behemoth it is due to industrial might because the things people gained from having massive industry were things they wanted. You're also faced with the fact that culturally (for lack of a better term) such tasks are just a no-go in some places; no matter how much of a hard-working well-meaning guy you are, if you're from Afghanistan for example it will always be a terrible place to live in nearly every metric because one man or a small handful cannot change an entire nation on their own, especially with everyone else's priorities and wants being actively detrimental. And that's something that would take several lifetimes, if that, to change. Most people are fond of their homeland, but aren't willing to live a life of toil for the hope that maybe the next citizen has it better.
So they'll hop the fence, board that raft, marry that fat pig for a Green Card, whatever they need as long as the pros outweigh the risk and they're capable enough. I know some say "no immigration of any sort forever", but that would not only be impossible politically, it would cripple the country in several ways. People come over on business all the time, they come over for tourism, they legally work seasonally doing shit jobs Americans won't for basically no money; you could avoid them abusing this and immigrating illegally by making such things verboten, but you would annihilate the tourism industry overnight, oranges would be $5 each or something equally ridiculous (that or the collapse of a lot of rural America), and international trade would take a massive nosedive. All you can really do is filter out the least-driven an least-able, but some always will.
>ackshually we just skim anyone competent and motivated from every other country, total mystery why they never improve
>ackshually we need to keep importing an underclass because we require slave labor for oranges, trust me it's what's best for you rural goys
>many times
Has it ever actually happened? We've been waiting many years for countries like India and Mexico to get better, but everyone there with any shot at making them better keep immigrating elsewhere.
>Has it ever actually happened?
Sure, in white countries
Here you go moron, it's not the 1980s any more you fricking dumb hick.
>skim
I dunno about who you've talked to, but a lot of the times it's not skim, it's flee. You couldn't keep them there if you tried, they're actively looking for ANYWHERE better. If the US becomes hard to go to, they'll go to Europe, or the next easiest target
>we require slave labor for oranges
I mean that was an example, but basically yeah. The average American doesn't realize just how much average shit in their lives depends on what amounts to slave labor keeping things cheap. If Americans worked all those jobs, sure, there's more ways to earn a living (those who aren't working now won't necessarily work just because it's available to them), but you're looking at all the modern comforts everyone takes for granted being a luxury all of the sudden. This isn't just bullshit like iPhones either, we're talking basic things like construction, sanitation, food, et cetera. Also, I never claimed I know what's best for rural america or anything, I'm voicing an opinion held by a lot of farm owners. I'm not saying I'm the arbiter of truth and right either, I'm just giving my opinion on how this problem goes. Nor do I claim "more immigration", it's about aligning people's wants with everyone's wants.
Yes. Norway for example used to be a complete shithole about a century ago and then it got better once it caught a break and found oil, because they've got the right culture to make good of that kind of a thing happening. You give a massive windfall to Norway, you get good living standards for everyone. You give a massive windfall to Somalia, you get warlords in gold-thread suits and starving serfs. However, being a Somalian who happens to have a decent head on his shoulders and thinking you're going to fix the sort of societal problems endemic of Somalia is a fricking pipe dream. You might unironically be the type to say it doesn't matter and you'd still try, but believe me that almost no one thinks that's a good way to spend your one shot at life.
>it's not skim
It is "skim," intentionally or not, because it's almost all carrot and almost no stick.
>if you tried
That's the point, hardly anyone does try
>basically yeah
No, we don't actually have to import an underclass and "Americans won't work these jobs" is a meme, cut off gibs and they'll work to eat
But anyway all of that is beside the point, which was not "America does/doesn't need 10 gorillion thirdworlders" but rather "making it too easy and appealing to trade-up citizenships is bad for the original country."
>Norway
Pretty good example
>No, we don't actually have to import an underclass and "Americans won't work these jobs" is a meme, cut off gibs and they'll work to eat
Thats the point Black person, no one wants to work for shit pay so they go for better paying jobs all the time.
You dumb b***h.
>construction
It's already happening. Ford opening a plant in Tennessee has basically made prospects for ANYTHING being built ANYWHERE within the next two years without spreading your asscheeks or gambling on two guys in a 1992 minivan impossible.
How do you mean?
>But you're looking at all the modern comforts everyone takes for granted being a luxury all of the sudden.
It's never been better and the rest of the world is doing better than the USA.
I'm leaving the USA as soon as possible.
You guys suck, red and blue team sucks dicks.
>Afghanistan
THE US MILITARY BOMED OUT THE MIDDLE EAST SINCE 1979 BECAUSE israeliteS SAID SO.
Shut the frick up.
you can say it as many times as you want, it won't be any more true
>People should live in their homeland
GO
BACK
TO
EUROPE
SNOW
Black person
You're not from the Americans you should be in Europe you fricking immigrant.
Canada and america are full of shitty, stupid as frick, and miserable losers who allow their governments walk all over them. I know you claps like to run your mouths about all your firearms but you pussies dont do shit about all the tyranny and corruption in your country so there’s really no point in moving from one shithole to another
So what BASED and FREE nation do you hang your hat?
>Why do people choose to live in Canada? I honestly don't get it
I don't, I was born here.
>You mean the healthcare system that denies your benefits and suggests killing yourself if they think you will cost them too much money?
PrepHole healthcare
/adv/ healthcare
Choose?
If I could get a job in the industry in the states I'd do it in a second. Triple the pay for the same position, and far more companies competing. Heck yeah.
asian girls with white wiener fever
>You mean the healthcare system that denies your benefits and suggests killing yourself if they think you will cost them too much money?
That isn't true at all you Black person.
Americans are gullible as frick.
We need to invade Canada and depose the hostile foreign government that has taken hold of the country, but first we need to clean house.
I don't like my current government and I like Americans, but if you guys going to pull another 1812 than I'm gonna have to kick your ass, pardon my French.
You guys can't even handle a little snow in Buffalo, you can't make it up here.
what is Alaska?
>dislike government trying to exterminate you and turn your country into Little China
>kill the people trying to liberate you and give you a free US citizenship with all the rights that entails
Then suffer, we should just close our borders to you and let the yellow horde replace you, makes it easier to firebomb the living hell out of the place without worry that a human will be hurt in the process.
Do you by any chance work in a surplus store?
No, but I'm sorta-buddies with a guy who runs one. We're not exactly friends as far as knowing each other that well (we don't go out drinking or whatever), but he at least thinks I'm an okay guy, always gives me discounts on stuff and we'll shoot the shit when I come in in what limited capacity my autistic undersocialized brain can converse. Nice guy, runs the store with his son.
There is also the possibility he gives me these discounts and is nice to me because he knows I'm an autist and feels sorry for me. Probably what's actually going on.
Autistic you say? I prefer "man of few words" lmao
Regardless it's always good to have a buddy you can co-op with during apocalyptic happenings
Rooftop autists
It will be interesting to see what they try to do.
what part of that is printed?
NTA but
They'll probably just start requiring a firearms licence to purchase things like barrels and slides. It would be annoying but not a huge deal I guess. I'm getting the frick out of this country anyway and moving to the USA to some red state. It's looking like Texas right now, other options are California or New York and obviously I'm not going to either of those shitholes.
They already said that's what they're doing
Well, if some bullshit NGO says so
Based but Canada's system still sucks, just for different reasons
Texas is not a red state
ECM barrels dude. Gun control is OBSOLETE.
Freeze the 3D printers bank account.
Criminal penalties for possession of one of these things should be equal to or more severe than the highest penalty for illegal possession of a weapon.
Life sentence without parole for being in the possession of a Ghost Gun, problem solved.
That just means people shoot to kill when they get caught. 3D printing gets you life, but murder does too. Nothing to lose, might as well give the doorkickers or their masters some hell
You can manufacture guns on a 3D printer, but you can't manufacture ammunition. Restrict the possession of ammunition to licensed gun ranges and licensed hunters.
Stop wasting time and effort on restricting guns. Start restricting gun powder and ammunitions. 3D printers cannot print gun powder.
Samegay, raid, or intentional troll? YOU be the judge.
There is nothing stopping all 3. We've been under a particularly bad raid for like, 5 ish days now.
It's been almost a year of soijak spamming Russophiles and monke putin spamming trannies.
You can make your own ammo at home with unregulated reloading gear. Or just straw buy it from a buddy since ammo is more easily found and distributed than even guns. Good luck keeping track of thousands of loose rounds of ammo, frick homemade shit get it straight from the tap
Anyone caught with a ghost gun should get a minimum 25 year prison term. Life for the ones printing them.
>the die has been cast
I call bullshit anon.
You literally said:
>you'll be able to print a die
Explain this blatant lie.
My sincere apologies anon, I misspoke.
I meant to say that you'll be able to print lifelike models of James Bond and the strange voodoo priest villain from "Live and Let Die", and basking in their light would bring you warmth on the cold Canadian nights.
Cast or Printed anon, which is it?
Just the other day, the US hit another first in their gun violence.
Gun allegedly used by 6-year-old in Virginia school student who shot his teacher, was bought by child's mother, police say. Can you imagine the mayhem if these 3D Ghost guns get on the streets of any country.
She shouldn't have infringed on his 2A rights then
Kid's a great American
kek
>Newport News Shooting
What a fricking surprise. There’s a reason the entire area considers that city “bad news” Virginia. Joggers shoot everything up in that city. Don’t know if it’s still there but there’s a tree near a church near the shipyards that homeless people hide inside and try to ambush you when you walk by when it’s dark.
More about the victim
Ah. Good shoot, then.
>25 years old
OOOOF
>9-year-old child verbally sulks about politics unprompted while entering school building
Yeah, I'm sure that totally happened.
Intolerably fricking based, imma buy that kid a bottle of Hennessy.
Kid needs to learn to double tap, wtf get gud pleb.
Based kid. One less liberal israelite brainwasher in the world.
I wanna pump more children inside the mom
>Can you imagine the mayhem if these 3D Ghost guns get on the streets of any country.
If?
Jail time for homemade firearms, period. Thats 3D printed, zip guns, etc.. Mandatory minimums and no leniency for Gladue or other excuses.
What the frick are these troll posts?
Typical talking points from Canadian libtards and/or fudds
>by pressing thin sheets of aluminum or brass to create cases
Lol, not happening, unless you're talking about rimfire. The brass used to form cartridges starts off thicker than the case head of a finished case, and is thick enough to be considered plate metal rather than sheet metal. Case rims are also formed by turning on a lathe. This is well out of hobbyist 3D printing territory and into someone with a professional skill set and a machine shop territory.
>Black powder for propellant
Not going to work in your 3D printed autoloader.
>Not going to work in your 3D printed autoloader.
why not
Most people don't realize that drawn brass cases suitable for modern smokeless powder pressures (number 5 in pic related) didn't come to the scene until decades after the first centerfire cases did. IMO, fricking around with homemade brass for homemade guns just isn't worth it, especially since you're still dependent on smokeless powder to make significant use of that brass. 3D printed designs would be better off sticking with swappable cylinders or cartridge blocks.
>cases are not doable for hobbyists
cases can be made from foil or paper (see .577-450 cartridges) if you keep the pressure low. Alternatively, you can place the burden of sealing the gases on the gun itself rather than the cartridge case by having tighter tolerances (See Dreyse, Chassepot, 1867 Carcano).
>Not going to work in your 3D printed autoloader
its fine for recreational use. Besides, this is Canada we're discussing. Their goal is to ban all guns. So a 3d printed bolt action rifle is better than no gun at all.
>cases can be made from foil or paper (see .577-450 cartridges) if you keep the pressure low.
Unless you're making cases for an existing caliber, it seems like you'd be better off with other options like Smith carbine style cases. If you're just going with black powder, you eliminate most of the difficulty when it comes to safe load data.
>its fine for recreational use
Your gun fouling up after a small amount of rounds kind of keeps it from being usable for recreational shooting.
>So a 3d printed bolt action rifle
Has someone even made a locked breach 3D printed rifle that can make it more than a small handful of decently powerful centerfire rounds and doesn't require commercial firearms parts for the lockup?
3d printed guns should be thought of as single shot per barrel weapons of ambush, like that Jap lunatic and his cyberpunk musket.
They're for shooting someone in the back at ten feet. For that purpose black powder and crude shells work fine.
Imagine getting merc'd by a fricking retro ass musket with a bayonet attachment, kill me with a hi-point please
You could look at it another way: that person wanted to kill you so badly that they went through the trouble of making the whole gun from scratch. They must really want you dead at that point.
We traded lethality for reload speed, muskets will send you straight to god, just as the founding fathers intended
Even if they ban files some mad lads could create some kind of configuration that allows any moron to make the files themselves
Why would any sane person try to print a die when pic related, some bushings and a cheap press would cost about the same as a 3d printer be more repeatable and durable. Help me understand. Is it functional fixedness or they got a shiny new hammer and everything is a nail
Cheaper than a 3d printer, but not cheaper than the plastic it would take to make a die. Produce them at the cost of a dollar twenty apiece. Distribute them. Make them impossible to control.
>than the plastic it would take to make a die
You aren't making dies to form raw brass into case out of fricking plastic you absolute moron.
Show me how you plan to use a disc cutter to cup and draw brass.
Here are the processes involved in producing a brass case:
https://www.petersoncartridge.com/technical-information/drawing-brass/
For each step, you can absolutely make a 3D printed forming die to draw brass into a form.
Printed forming dies were already around two years ago for steel:
https://hackaday.com/2020/03/10/forming-sheet-metal-parts-with-3d-printed-dies/
1. Punch out disk
2. Center disk on hole with desired od
3. Use bushing to center undersized punch
4. Press through
5. Repeat as necessary
lube and annealing where necessary ofc.
The lower die will need some of its holes radiused and the drawing punches will need blunting. With a light duty die like this it's probably best to stick to balloon head/rimfire cases.
if only murder was illegal
I wasn't replying to OP or that post, why are you quoting me you fricking moron
The Feds literally said "we'll stop this - we will make it illegal," so yes
Regret to inform that she's in the hospital expected to make a full recovery
>Will the Canadian government be successful in eliminating 3d printed firearms?
Are they going to regulate 3D printers/filament as well as anything that can be used to piece together a 3D printer? Are they going to require ISPs to block all encrypted communication?
There's basically no stopping it as all you really need is information/data. Just like if you had the know how you could weld/mill a firearms from nothing. 3D printing just removes most the learning curve.
>What are the consequences?
People cranking out Glock frames to sell to Black folk get an extra charge on their rap sheet, as the proposed law is written now. Pretty pointless.
Signal = can't stop won't stop.
https://archive.org/details/gunplans2019
It's always fricking school shootings with you gays. Not every day's a breaking news from CNN. Vast majority is just Black folk being Black folk, the MSM's kryptonite.
Don't forget to disarm the military and police. And Trudeau's bodyguards.
Considering that all military spending is going to buy stuff for Ukraine I doubt anything will happen.
the Canadian government can't even crack down on drug chugs murdering their chug girl friends/daughters
wdym anon, wholesome chugs would never
clearly the work of hundreds, maybe thousands, of white serial killers flying under the radar
