Can you listen to music on electronic ears?

I need both good earpro and new headphones, and I was hoping to get two birds with one stone. Thoughts? Is it possible? How is the audio quality?

There is absolutely bluetooth enabled earpro that will play music same as any other wireless headphones. That said ime the audio quality is usually mediocre compared to real dedicated headphones/IEMs. There is no INHERENT reason this needs to be true, and I'd love to see some partnership between a really good headphone manufacturer and an earpro maker, but I don't know of any that are perfect all around. Another thing that could exist would be an MMCX adapter like I've got that also had good mic and high response noise filtering, then one could use it with any standard buds they wanted. But I don't know of that as a product either.

But if you're fine with paying some premium over separate and some level of "jack of all trades, master of none" then it's fine. Lots of guys I know have 'em, not even just for shooting but so they can listen to the radio or music or whatever while they're on their tractors or mowing or work like that. I've considered it just from the perspective of being able to take calls and so on as well, kinda wanna try out one of those throat mics. I know the audio quality isn't as good but the idea of being able to hold a normal conversation while I'm in a super load environment just seems cool.

I tried this they are all shit. Just buy good bluetooth earbuds that are small enough not to hit the ear pro and use them under the earpro.

just run airpods under them. best of both worlds.

Idk what is wrong with my ears but earbuds always fall out.
The thing is I travel and shoot a lot, and my headphones always end up breaking. I know it will look stupid to wear ears on a plane but I'm interested in how practical it is.

every single one of those posters answered how practical it is.

You need the right tips to match your ears (or if you have $$$ to spend go for full custom sleeves). Everyone has differences, what you do is get a general tip kit where it has 1 pair each of like 6-15 different sizes/styles. Foamies of different shapes, flanged silicone, etc. Then once you find the one that is comfy and you like, you just buy that one specifically in bulk cheap.

When I got my shures that's what I did, got a few tip kits, tried 'em all until I found ones I liked the best.

Quality earbuds are very practical and everyone uses them, but again you need to have them fit right. That's the single most important thing, a good seal that is still comfortable for long periods.

Of course, some folks just fricking hate having things in their ears, so always worth trying cheap first. But that doesn't sound like you, sounds like a fit issue.

Honestly this is a pretty decent poor man's solution, though without as good environmental passthrough. But suppose if you are listening to music not like that matters at all anyway.

When I worked at the range I would have a pair of Sordins hooked up to a bluetooth receiver to listen to music while I swept up brass or whatever. I noticed that the music would be REALLY quiet, nowhere near the volume you would get with traditional headphones. It's nice if you want something in the background but it by no means replaces headphones.

I have 3 sets of Peltors and they all sound like shit audio wise over Bluetooth. I just use a cheap set of tozo a1's under them.
