Don't know about that, but I can tell you how my uncle used to clean his rifle. >pour like half a can of oil down the barrel >literally drown that fucker in oil >reload >shoot twice >good to go
He was in basic back in the day, so no blank cartridges for conscripts I reckon.
He got promoted to penal unit eventually, but it was unrelated to his cleaning techniques AFAIR.
>Where the fuck did you come up with such a nasty idea?
Welcome to the Internets, newfren. It only gets more and more magical every moment after your first day.
>Use a hammer and brass punch
This. Make sure the punch is as close to the inside barrel diameter as possible or you will just punch a hole through the bullet. I've removed squibs at least a hundred times, and bullet type really matters, and whether or not you have to push towards the breach or the chamber. Some bullets have thick jackets, those are easy, hollow points suck balls if you have to push towards breach, lead bullets make you hate life.
No.
To clear a squid, you need to use a +P bullet.
Thats what they were originally created for, and thats why they are flat nosed.
The increased surface applies more force on the stuck bullet, much like driving a stake with a mallet.
This is literally how Brandon Lee died. They had a cartridge that had no powder in the gun, and someone pulled the trigger. The primer went off with just enough power to cause a squib. Later the same gun was loaded with a blank, which pushed the squib out of the barrel as if it were a normal bullet
Blank is the most retarded way to do it. You'd be smarter to just try and shoot it out with another bullet. At least the new bullet is carrying momentum and allowing a relatively linear expansion of gasses. A blank will just instantly ramp up the pressure in the entire barrel and won't accelerate the bullet NEARLY fast enough to vent or regulate pressure.
I bet you could make a "blank" that clears squibs if it used some kind of smokeless powder that burned at 0.1% the speed of average pistol powder. Ramping up the pressure slow enough would harmlessly squeeze out the bullet with no damage, but why would you buy the weird meme blanks that only work in a situation that has a 0.01% chance of happening?
No. Blanks are weaker charges and the stuck bullet already failed on a full charge.
After you remove the bullet you need to clean and assess the barrel which may have chunks of lead and copper remaining and damage to the barrel that may cause another bullet to stick.
No. Stop sliding.
>Everything I'm not interested in, which is Ukraine, is sliding
Kys
What is sliding? Also, nice trips.
attempting to push discussions off the board by spamming garbage threads
this belongs in qtddtot but there is none so go off OP

No you don't.
Fuck off and suck cocks in hell

Fat juicy cocks in hell.
You love them yeah
Blank > air(kaboom) >blockage
The barrel goes kaboom.
YOU absolutely should try. Keep us posted.
>can
yes
>should
no
If you do, use a normal round with the bullet removed, not a ready-made blank -- the powder is different.
See Hatcher's Notebook for details.
>Hatcher's Notebook
thanks
This. I've done it once. In hindsight I should have tried to ram the bullet out but it worked out fine.
>googling 'handbooks' 'diaries' 'manifestos' recommended on PrepHole
shiggidy
Hatcher’s Notebook is a record of US military small arms written by a general you idiotic tourist.
Don't know about that, but I can tell you how my uncle used to clean his rifle.

Gos, that doesn’t sound very pleasant at all for either party.

Drill it out if its that close to the edge
Sounds completely retarded take the barrel out and punch it through
>clean a squib with blank round ?
Use a hammer and brass punch nimrod.

Huh? Same thing?
>I've removed squibs at least a hundred times
how have you seen so many squibs
Might have been an armorer.
How do you not damage your crown
moron do you eat brass for dinner? Brass can't damage steel.
Brass is softer than steel
>i damag’d me brain wit brazz rod 2 hed
Unfortunately, brass is harder than brain
Think there's something wrong with that hammer.
Where can I buy this hammer?
In your mom's closet
Never heard of that store. Do they deliver international?
It was custom made.
They are special hammers. Wery expesive.
That is what I call a cocked hammer.
>ballpeen hammer
heh
do it and report back
Just throw it out and buy another gun
Yeah and don't forget to point it at Brandon Lee when you do it.
Bro just use a stick wtf are you doing
No.

This, I clear squibs with +P Metplat rounds all the time
Gaunt has a yutub vid of cleaning a squib out with some lead melting acid(doesnt effect steel) . But produces toxic fumes so . Be carefull

>not just using a brass dowel to pound it out
ngmi
just hammer it out with a dowel
t. Alec Baldwin trying to get away for murder for a second time
Ask Brandon lee
You can, but only once
yeah

If its getting stuck then it probably had less than a full charge in the first place.
Yes that'll work. Please record yourself doing it so we can all see how well it worked.
