homie you dont understand, these were static emplacements, and they were the ONLY form of AA available to infantry, meanwhile the anti-tank class could atleast carry an anti-tank missile around

this was so much bullshit because any decent helicopter duo will keep the AA sites destroyed while wreaking havoc among your team

and if by some miracle you manage to jump on the site and get a shot off, the enemy heli will deploy flares, evade the missile and immediate vaporize you and the AA emplacement with a TV missile

        worth-less

Stingers are not crazy expensive AA all things considered. They can take down fighter jets.

i remember this time as a commander, i saw with the satellite scan a group of 3 chucklefricks trying to backcap in Strike at Karkand 64 player

there was noone on my team around, and i had no mic, so i called an arty strike on the place i thought they'd be

i led the shot perfectly and capped all 3 homies, good shit

best part was neutralizing the flag, waiting to listen for the artillery firing and then running under the concrete pads for protection

That’s a lot of kills for a single team. They must be using these to defend point targets

Is it strange to anyone else that their kill tallys are the Ukrainian symbol? Do you not mark your kills with your enemie's symbol? I feel like that is what I have seen in the past.

Soviet Union used red stars as killmarks for some reason, later on and into modern day Russia they even used them to mark a little of everything like droping live ordnance in training and shit like that.
Looks both funny and sad to see a late 80s Flanker or Fencer from some flight school regiment with more "killmarks" than most Soviet Aces of WW2.

Yeah it seemed strange to me because I've always seen enemy insignia used for kill marks.
But apparently Soviets did it like this so whatever floats their boat.

my grandpa's brother shot down four british fighter planes and a bomber (disputed but he always said he did it) during the war and used four cartoon anthropomorphic baby goats and a ram as kill tallies
