I've never had this happen in 40yrs and 100s of thousands of rounds. I've never had a revolver fail to go bang unless I was playing with spring weights. I've never owned an auto that didn't jam at some point.
>>take friend to range…. Start with 45 acp, move up to 410 slug in 2.5 then 3 inch, if you have it move to 45 schofield, then 45 long colt, then 454 casull…. I’d buy it for shits and giggles…
I've literally never had a problem with any Taurus pistol I own. And no one I know who owns one or several has. I think internet gun snobs just like to shit on something to be "cool".
In my euro gun range rental guns for ppl that don't own a handgun are mostly 9 mm Glocks, cz75 and Taurus da revolvers (38s and a tracker 44) they're abused to the max and have tens of thousands of rounds mostly s&b so no "38s&w tier" mousefart american ammo shot trough it and see cleaning about twice a year...
The finish isn't on par with old s&w but tbey are tough and didn't fail us...
But we only have 4-6inchers and not their j frame equivalents, cthese might be a tad less well made Idk...
I shot the 44 tracker for a year until I bought my new vaquero 44...
It was alright and grouping was a tad bit under the 629 comp of my friend but not by much.
Taurus released a pistol over a decade ago that would fire if you shook it. It's very hard to come back from that type of reputation. STI ditched their company name when they wanted to make duty grade 2011s.
Yep. That's really the brand killer to be honest. Make one pistol that shoots when you shake it and probably don't matter what else you do. You always gonna be THAT company. "It's not a bug. It's a feature." Also that pistol is no longer on the market thank god.
Again to be fair tho, they make a decent budget gun and for any newbies out there or just someone wanting something to throw under the seat of a truck and not worry if it's gonna get nignocked don't listen to the snobs. It will go bang. And likely every time.
Every company has ups and downs. Frick Colt is the best example of this ever. You live in the timeline where Taurus is getting better while S&W is getting worse.
This. Their QC is shit, they refuse to remove the locks and they charge premium prices. They don't even warranty their aluminum revolver frames anymore. Frick those homosexuals.
>OAL 16.22" >BBL 10" >ability to attach a bipod >ability to attach a scope with an eye relief that requires being shouldered (even if you'd be insane to do so)
The ATF is going to call this an SBR aren't they?
Revolvers quite literally cannot nalfunction
taurus will invent the first ever revolver with a failure to eject and a stovepipe
Wrong, recoil can induce bullets to slide out of weakly crimped casings and jam the cylinder.

That's the riced out civic of guns.
Please don't insult civics like that, even with a fart can and red Baron triple decker wing, it'll be reliable. Taurus not so much.
Low test no guns. Taurus magnums are excellent. Not 1 issue in hundreds of .454 rounds. Here is my proof I own the gun, whats your proof?
did they fix their revolver line or does it still exist only to keep gunsmiths in business
probably end up killing their customers if that QC gets any worse
Taurus is a shitty company.
>said no one who actually owns guns
their revolvers are not as bad as their autoloaders but I also wouldn't reccomend buying one either way
g2c has been good to go forever and a staple poorgay option
How many do you own? I have 3 Taurus autos and 2 revolvers. They all work great.
I like my g3c
They are good guns. I like them better than fat ugly thin blue line boot licking glocks thats for damn sure.
Bring back Raging Judge Magnum plz
This, but allow moon clips for 45 acp….

Remove one of the .410 shells and put a .45 Colt +p+ before .454. Ultra-hot .45 Colt hits like .44 Mag.
Jesus. I ordered some of their 454 casull that’s 360 grain and runs at 1400ish. That’s some really hot 45
i've got a raging hunter iykwim
How do you hold scopes revolvers? Like do you hold it away at arms length or awkwardly bend your arms in and bring it close to your face?
Use a monopod
At that point just get a damn rifle
Don't care you can use monopod, tripod, whatever. Be smart.
But that limits your hunting season to rifles only.
the whole point is so you can hunt during pistol season
They're pistol scopes with really long eye relief so you can hold them at arms length

>raging hunter
we say homosexual here
It's a lot better than people give it credit for.
A genuinely good idea with bad execution.
S&W already killed S&W.

Can we get a /k/ exclusive Taurus called the Raging Sperg?
ah, 10mm
I look forward to the white decorative-gripped Raging Boner
It doesn’t matter what it’s chambered in, /k/ is no guns anyway
I don't understand, where does the brace attach?
>OAL 16.22"

Still want one.
What’s the latest on the ATF and AR style pistols? My favorite firearm is an AR pistol
Just get a stock. Get the stamp if you want but the brace has to go either way.
i too also get spam email from gun companies
