Howdy PrepHole,
Legally can purchase firearms starting in mid April. Over 21 so handguns legal.
If you were
-in California
-could afford $1500 for a gun and any optics/accessories
- could only pick one
What handgun would you choose?
Thanks folks for reading!
I'd spend 100 on gas and get something decent from Arizona
Hundred bucks won't get him out of California, unfortunately. OP, get a levergat in 45LC and forget the optic.
>Regards, Model 92 Chad.
I always wanted a levergat. My brother has a 357 revolver, is that dummy? 45LC is better?
I have neighbors, but also fuck my neighbors.
Generally, 45LC will underperform compared to 357 and 44 mag (source my ass but probably true). Conveniently Winchester produces levergats in those calibers though, so really it's your pick. I'd say get 357 or 44 so you can get a revolver and New Vegas larp to your hearts content.
>357 revolver, is that dummy?
357 has some Hispanicy loads right off the shelf.
I keep my 4" wheelgat loaded with 165 gr. HP rounds listed at 688 ft lbs. That's 2-3 times the energy of 9MM. Something to consider. Plus the ammo can go in your levergat, always a plus.
It gets me out of CA, so I don't know what to tell you.
I don't know about you but I'm not paying hundreds of dollars in goytaxes.
>he doesn't have friends in other states
ngmi
I live in CA. You mean just like, don't tell them about it?
you'd have to find a private party because the stores won't sell to you with a CA id. and unless you find a guy and hammer down a date, and drive all the way there same day, you're going to have to spend some money on a hotel or otherwise. now if you can find a private party, then yeah, you could get something and bring it back, but you wouldn't be able to put it in your name in california.
Used Dan Wesson 1911 if possible.
This is a decent suggestion except only 2 DW pistols are on the CA approved roster. Not easy to find.
>t. that other cali guy looking for a dw pistol
picrel is the AR i'll buy if the AWB falls.
Damn I didn't know that, I figured all 1911s were legal in CA. What about Colt, Springfield, and the like?
It's kinda random what is and isn't.
I just looked up S&W, 189 available on a list totaling 832 available handguns.
How S&W gets 23% of the list is beyond me.
https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/search
For the curious.
Wow. I knew it was bad, but I didn't know it was this bad.
>How S&W gets 23% of the list is beyond me.
Probably because S&W was proactive and got a lot of pistols on the roster before the micro stamping law messed up the roster application process.
Savage axis 2 in 308 the tactical one
Primary arms ACSS 1-8 for
AERO precision ultralight mount
Sling cleaning kit case
Ammo with rest of money
Presto instant marksman and good to 800 yds if you are.
OP is looking for a pistol anon
$300 dollar pistol
$1200 dollar optic
Well shit I can't read
4" gp100 7 rounder if you can find one.
Matching 357 lever action with a red dot and magnifier
That should keep CA stassi happy for a few years till the next level of fuckery they try.
a glock
I should mention, I am a leftie. Hand wise
>used M&P Shield 1.0, $500
>Palmetto AR, $1,000
You're done
I was thinking used is probably best. Any tips for not getting fucked?
>300 to 400 dollar rifle
>1200 dollar optic
That's how I'd split it OP
>California
>gun
Rope yourself?
I don't think a reasonable person would bother going through the trouble. Buy an address in any other state and get a driver's license there. Congratulations, you can probably afford more ammo than you have time to shoot with the car insurance savings alone.
I have more guns than fingers. It's really not that much trouble here. The limitations on type suck but the process is no problemo.
Unironically, California is a cowboy psyop, magazine limits make lever guns and revolvers viable, and the taxes on gas and carbon emissions make homesteading with a horse the cheapest way to live. Get yourself some cowboy guns and become a rancher.
>Gen 3 glock of your flavour
>slide cut
>rmr
>rest of budget on ammo
Simple as.
Considering how dangerous and third world California is, I'd buy a California compliant Seecamp pistol in .32acp and carry it in my front pocket because the constitution is my carry permit. Live free or die.
But that's just me.
The walking dead fentanyl zombies around here would probably start laughing if you shot them with a .32 and just start stabbing you harder.
Berettea 92fs and use the rest on ammo, holster, mags, and a cleaning kit.
Beretta 92FS for $700 and 2,000 rounds of ammo for the other $800
Buy two Glocks and $300 in ammo with the change.
>Ruger mk IV for $400
>CZ75 for $850
>Heritage rough rider for $150
I'd spend that money to move somewhere else. Somewhere that at pretends to respect your rights.
Fellow CA southpaw here. The hk p2000 is going to be the most left handed friendly handgun on the roster with it's ambi slide stops and decocker with the paddle mag release. Mine is the DA/SA v3 but they also make the LEM v2 which is a modified DAO so it has the same trigger pull for every shot. Glock 19 sized, so a good jack of all trades if you want a HD/CC in one. Other than than you just need a good holster and as much ammo as you can afford to train with
Benitez is making Newsom seethe again. The review date for all those cases is coming up, and Newsom knows they have nothing so those laws are gonna get repealed. He's been acting like a whiny man baby and this amuses me. Patrick Bateman looking motherfucker, I hope everything he's built crumbles to dust, his children die, and his name is erased from history. I want it to be like he never lived.
$300 maverick
$500 psa
$80 sling light x2
$glock 19
There you go
Comply if you want retard
