Book about tactics, strategy, supply, anything warfighting related to war of Serbian aggresion towards Republic of Bosnia (1990-1995)

have read " Osprey Elite #146: The Yugoslav Wars (2) : Bosnia, Kosovo and Macedonia 1992-2001 " but thats all i could find online, somewhat related to my title. Anyone else familiar with any more books? Much appreciated.

Googling "war books about Bosnian war" mostly brings up novels and books of such nature, which I am sure are another side of that hellish war, but I'd like more warfighting stuff books, or academic works on the war.
I have also heard that one of the V Corps battles are still being studied and talked about in UK Officer school or something similiar, but I could not find out about it on the internet by myself.
I feel like agression on Republic of Bosnia is one underrated topic that is not talked about enough and I would like to get more informed about it.

Why do so many people give a shit about any war? Why are yugoslavian wars less important than any other war?

Because of the brutality and an example of something you are seeing today in Ukraine while there was nothing like it.

Also the fact that Bosnians defended themselves mostly with no artillery support, using mostly hunting rifles while going against numerical stronger enemy with a couple of jets and lots of millitary technology that Bosnia was lacking.

        >Bosnia had no arty
Wikipedia says that Pakistan donated some of their Chinese TOW-fakes to the Bosnians, I should look into it.

Probably during later years of war. Bosnia had embargo and couldn't get any donations, medical, humanitarian or weapons/ammo donations. Many stories of Bosnians buying ammunitin/guns/food from Chetniks themselves. Story goes that 25kg of white flour ran for 500 Deutsche marks. However much that is nowadays, from my understanding that was expensive as frick back then. During later years of war, Bosnians captured a lot of artillery from Serbs mindlessly retreating and leaving behind lots of guns and they also got some donated by the Croatian.
But damn did they use the artillery well.

500 Deutsche marks would be 1000$USD in 90's money

That seems a lot for 25kg of flour. I'm pretty sure by the time it came to the hands of the original buyer, it would be more like 15kg than 25kg, everyone steals a bit...

Because it was the last time a genocide happened on european soil
      >BASED BASED BASED KILL MUSLIMS
90% of the Yugoslav conflict was slavshites cutting each other’s throats, as slavshites often do. One side being Muslim converts does not change the fact that everyone involved were slavshites and would get the same result if they ever did a 23AndMe.

It's refreshing to learn about a war that's only shades of evil

It was the last major European war before the Russo-Ukrainian one of 2022 (no, 2014 doesn't matter in this context) and it has a significant cultural draw due to turbofolk.

      What's your opinion on Serbs?

Depends, there are some that are cool but most of them are nationalistic as frick, I can't blame them for being that way because of the hardcore indoctrination they go through since birth but I can blame them for not being able to see their wrongdoings

What weapons did you use? Did your unit have heavy weapons or only small arms?

m56 PAP as we liked to call it papovka, weapons were a huge issue at the start of the war, fun fact I got issued like 10 bullets and had to make them last whole month

Any funny stories from the war? Any details that you thunk it would be interesting for us? What was the leadership like, have you seen a lot of combat? From my understanding II corps was around Tuzla area.

The leadership was alright, I was 18 in 1993 when I enlisted so I don't really know how it was at the start. I haven't seen a lot of combat thankfully the AOE of the 2nd corps was relatively peaceful. When we went towards Brcko we found ourselves in a horseshoe encirclement and we had a few pragas shoot at us that shit was scary.
A funny story could be this, we had 3 day rotations on the frontline, and after 3 days when me and a few buddies went to the position to replace the guys who were already there we got shot at. After some yelling (banter was quite common while fighting) we found out that they had been watching the wrong side, they turned their backs towards serbs and were watching their own positions

Hahaha ovo bas zvuci kao naš narod. Evo jedne price iz 5. Korpusa

Some guy found a random goat and wanted to keep her for milk, he looked around and couldn't find any rope so he cut off the radio cable(used for communication between the bunkers(zemunice)) and used the radio cable to tie down the goat, cutting the communication off. The officers were pretty pissed off but there were no repercussions and people enjoyed goat milk.

Goats were worth their weight in gold especially in 1993, I don't remember a shittier year than that one

What kind of food did you guys have? Have you seen any war crimes, or have any horror stories?

Pretty much just a lot of carbs, bread was a staple as well as pasta. We had american MREs that were given to us as civilians they were neat that was the first time I've tried tabasco sauce. Sugar and sweets were extremely expensive and I just traded my chocolate rations for ciggies. I haven't seen any war crimes but I've heard of a guy who kicked a serbian granny to the face after we cleared the village and they found a hand grenade in her kitchen.A horror story would be the 25th of May 1995 when a 155mm shell landed in the middle of the city and killed a frickton of kids, I lost two friends there.

Too bad you came in during autumn/winter the town gets kinda depressing at that time but I hoped you liked it

Going to Bihac bext month, any war related place I can visit? I have a car there so I can move easily.
Also, can I visit the mujahedeen villages, in Central Bosnia? Or is it too dangerous and useless.
                Did you meet mujahedeen?

Not sure about that part of the country but you'll see shrapnel holes in buildings guaranteed. You'd have to ask the locals but I'm sure there are some museums that you can visit. Regarding the mujahadeen I've met a few and I didn't like the vibe because I'm a secular "child of communism". I'd suggest not going to their villages not for safety reasons but because theres nothing to do there. They're kinda like the amish they just have their farms and pray to god and they're annoyed by tourists going there hoping to see the ISIS caliphate or something like that (you won't see that).

Forgot to mention a horror story (food related) IKAR "beef" that was just rotten smegma in a can people have found bones teeth and hair in the cans shit was leftover from vietnam. Cats and dogs wouldn't eat it and god knows what it actually was it was probably some sort of an experiment. Also this one time we were at the frontline and people would give food to the fighters and this woman baked a "fish pie" from some harrings or whatever the dutch probably gave them. I think that when the wind blew towards the serbs that they declared a gas attack because of how bad it smelled I still have that seared in my nostrils
