Best Subsonic 9mm Ammo Home Defense

I live in an apartment complex, and I don't want to kill my neighbors. What is the best self-defense subsonic 9mm ammo I could use, and would I need to configure my PSA Dagger to fire it with an Omega 9K?

overpen is a meme. you're not guaranteed to even hit the invader you're aiming at odds of you hitting anyone else through walls is near non-existent.

if you are truly terrified of it though then get 100gr frangible defense ammo I guess. it'll still kill at close range no prob unless they're wearing armor in which case shoot them in the legs/nuts/face and they'll be disabled/go elsewhere. alternatively those weird liberty super fast super light rounds which pack punch but only briefly. or just have frangible be your top ten rounds and normal xds or hp be your final seven rounds.
    >subsonic
even more of a meme and doesn't help with overpen at all

      What about +P ammunition?

what about it? I mean, might as well assuming your gun is rated for it, for edc/defense ammo an extra 2-4% velocity for free might theoretically do some good and isn't going to hurt. but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

      this
youve already got a can, hearing damage from a handful of shots will not be serious enough to dictate your ammo choice.

    Just use normal hollow points.
When you're defending your life, collateral should not even be on your mind.
Remove all distractions from your awareness and focus 100% of your mental power into not dying.
Thinking about anything other than defeating the threat WILL get you killed.
Worry about whether or not you brained your neighbor's kid through a wall AFTER you've lived long enough to worry about it.

This. If you have a good lawyer, the home invader should be the one charged should an any collateral damage occur.

You should still avoid collateral damage in the first place.

Yeah, if you can. A hollow point that misses can still penetrate a wall.

I'd be doing everything possible to sue your ass to hell. It's best to do everything possible to try and avoid needing to use a gun first. From the hours of videos I've seen of self defense shootings, you rarely ever see the assailant actually point the gun at the person before being shot at. Bullets can travel through multiple walls. The less powerful the bullet, the less walls it will travel through, the the smaller the likelihood an innocent person will get shot.

That's because you're a homosexual. Sue the criminal who led to there being a shooting in the first place. If you catch a ricochet through 3 walls, just accept that you have bad luck, and were to be supposed to be a witness in somebody else's trial.

I'd sue you for using ammunition that penetrates through so many walls.

Why not sue the actual criminal though?

I'd feel really bad if it were a teenager who just happened to make a poor decision out of excitement. I wouldn't want to see him get his life thrown away.

        >Bullets can travel through multiple walls.
Correct, I've seen .22 LR go through walls, which is why I'm aware that no magic self-defense load that completely eliminates overpenetration exists. If you hit your assailant/criminal/attacker then the bullet will lose most of its energy and if you miss that bullet will have a bunch of energy for whatever it hits, even if it is a wall.

Well that's because when you have a gun pointed at you generally the next thing that happens is the trigger is pulled, turning it into murder footage and not a self-defence.
What kind of Black person brained moronation is this.

FWIW, you'd lose in my state. In summary judgement actually. There is no liability for shooting someone accidentally if it was actually in defense of your life, the one at fault is the criminal.

there has never been a case of a citizen involved shooting where a bullet has hit an innocent bystander after passing through a wall or assailant. people make up such an insignificant total solid angle inside any domicile that overpenetration is a total meme and an irrational consideration.

Well, you see all those videos of Black folk shooting up entire apartment blocks with switches, yet you never hear of any casualties as a result.
