I wonder if Bersa would actually be a major brand if they weren't cursed to be in Argentina. I do like them though.

Why would anyone put a safety on a DA/SA with a dewienerer?

So you can choose to carry lock and wienered or not , silly goose

I used to have the Compact version of that. Solid firearm. The features are nice tho I always used my thumb to gently lay the hammer down /while/ using the de wienerer. It slamming down all "clack" was never a comforting sound even if it was safe.

I had one feed issue in 5k rounds on a critical defense. Damn rubber tips.

Only real complaint is rust, even with daily oil wipes or just sitting as a bed side gun in the winter when it's so dry you get nose bleeds it Would rust.

If the safety is on it is dewienered.

Maybe for this gun, but not all guns. USP let's you carry wienered and locked.

I've been happy with the Stoeger 9mm. 700 rounds later and there's no big issues.

Mags are expensive and hard to find.
If something breaks, you're dealing with the importer first who has to contact the factory to ship whatever broken part or gun all the way from Argentina to wherever you live assuming the importer doesn't have them in stock. Last but not least, it's a budget wonder 9 in a sea of billions of wonder 9s which are obsolete by another billion of glock gen 3 clones you can pick up for a similar price if not cheaper.

Features don't a good gun make
Build quality and reliability is most important

I was gonna reply in /hg/ but this is why I didn't OP, I don't have enough rounds through mine to make any kind of reliability judgement, and that's pretty important.

I like it though, and manufacturing quality is clearly there. In some ways it's nicer than the P88 it's based on.
