il barfo della morte
Soulless. I hate ARs, the Legos of the gun world. The only 9nes I actually like are the old school ones. I'm not saying they are bad guns... Just utilitarian and utterly boring.
I like how the publication is called Armi e Tiro instead of Armi e Cartucce
AR-15's have an overwhelming amount of SOVL by virtue of 60 years use in conflicts around the world. AK's lost their SOVL after 50 years of imitating AR-15's
Post your rifle of choice that you own.
I dont own any guns.
I'm trans btw

Agreed, ars are for people with no personality just trying to impress others
If you need your gun to have a personality, then it's a crutch for not having your own. Price to performance for a given purpose is the only factor that matters.
You can have a personality in spite of your taste in guns. But having bland taste in guns is a reflection of a bland personality. Like a person who prefers mush for dinner
Not the same guy, but the only rifle i own is AR, and i know it's objectively a good, if not the best choice. It's very accurate, light, adaptable, reliable, and you can get very decent ARs for not much money. My only complain could be that it's not as bombproof as i would like it to be, but it's absolutely good enough.
That being said, it's like wearing a casio, driving a toyota, drinking bud lights, having a golden retriever and never being abroad, except for a short trip to Paris. There is nothing really wrong with each of those things, everyone can live their lives within their means and as they see fit, but there is so much more to living than always choosing the most cost effective, tested options that have the best ratings once you google them. I know polymer framed pistols have lot of advantages over steel, but steel feels much nicer, classier, more trustworthy. I know a used prius would be a sensible option, allow me to save lots of money in a long run, but i love my Giulia like you wouldn't believe. For the same amount of money as a trip to Paris, London and Rome you could spend a year in South America and snort a lines with hookers in every capital city.
you are a child
oldskool is sexy
I don't know what /k/ is complaining about. Soon you'll be able to buy an MCX without having to buy Sigshit. Best of both worlds. You get best gun without losing face. Isn't that what you wanted Anon?
>piston-ARs
>the best
they're harder shooting and louder suppressed than DI
Less dirty and more reliable
Pick your poison, war is loud
This is true, and why I use DI but militaries are going to care more about the reliability under adverse conditions. With a piston gun you can crank up the gas and power through bullshit.
Northern yuro countries like Estonia and Norway want piston ARs because DI shits the bed in freezing cold. When you go back and forth from the cold outdoors to a warm tent or vehicle, it can create condensation that may freeze the rifle shut if you go back out into the cold again. Watch Garand Fag's ice test videos where the AKs and Steyr AUG performed fine while the DD and KAC ARs locked up.
Yet the 416 died. The FCG is what freezes on the AR. A piston won't change that.
did you watch the video? it literally passed the 'realistic' test: https://youtu.be/LbjpIP5ShH0?t=683 (416 timestamp)
it only failed when he dumped an entire bottle of water on gun which is just not going to happen in real warfare, and the issue was the trigger/safety stopped working. I imagine in realistic situations if you just left a round chambered it would break through any small amounts of condensation that froze. The whole dumping a water bottle on a gun then saying "look at how bad it is" thing is silly. Just like how pouring a bucket of mud on an AR then saying "it's the best gun ever" because it still works is silly
Yeah so did the DI gun. Piston mcx went down hard, sr-15 and urgi failed the same way the 416 almost did due to the ejection port. That alone proves the rest isn't repeatable but it does show all ar patterned guns have fcg issues just as I stated.
Why didn't you buy the ARX?
I did though
I would love to see your rifle setup
Contrarian
I'm gonna buy one
That'll be 5k please
God I hope not.
Will actually be worth it tho

i spent a fair amount of time trying to find an image of him that didn't suck and it was actually kind of hard because Pinky isn't SEO friendly at all (pinky and the brain brings back both characters, just pinky brings back fingers, blah blah blah) and finding images that weren't pintrest and eventually settled on his header image from wikipedia, which is probably the same thing as whoever posted your version did as well.
like i was kinda shocked at how few good images there were to choose from.
Funny, because I had the same problem. Half of it was fan art. Searching with "NARF" was 99% fan art 1% barely related GIF. Just went fuck it hope the Wikipedia one has transparency (it doesn't).
>Weapon: :/
>Weapon, Italy: :0
Its not an "AR style rifle", it's just a modern assault rifle design. It has nothing to do with the AR-15 style - or does it have a carry handle?
>AR-style rifle
>No buffer tube, short-stroke piston system, seemingly an Italian-made MCX
You are a philistine, anon.
>i demand that companies make silly looking unique guns at the detriment of their business because im tired of ARs
>"Yes."
Are they still making the fish gun?
i dont see why not. its still italy's standard issue gun i think.
thats a bloody silly looking gun
You can prolly still obtain the benelli mr1
why did benelli stop importing these to the US
They didn’t sell well. They tried to push them as an alternative to an AR for home defense but never offered them with the collapsible stock or muzzle devices. They should have pushed them hard in California due to their ability to accept traditional stocks. I know they’re still reasonably popular in Canada as both hunting and defensive rifles.
I own one, it’s very high quality, utterly reliable, and just a little heavy. The ergos are a little odd, but not terrible, and definitely fast enough once you get used to them. Mine is a 1.0 MOA gun with .223, but only a 2-3 moa gun with 5.56. Go figure.
I heard the accuracy with sustained fire is not that great because the barrel is pencil thin. First shot is on target but second third and fourth start to drop if you do it without a few seconds in between. Consecutive shots heat up the barrel and cause it to bend ever so slightly. I love the way it looks though, and Benelli is quality. Would’ve loved to own one with a heavy barrel.
>2nd and 3rd drop
No. In the first place I can’t think of a barrel that would possibly heat up that quickly. That's just silly. In the second place mine keeps a 10 round group inside 2” if I do my part with no problem. I would say the barrel starts to open up the groups after two 30 round magazines in reasonably quick but most pencil barrels will anyway. Shit, most barrels of heavier profiles will too.
Where do no guns get these odd perceptions?
They sell them in Mexico for some reason.
Do they make these with a conventional stock, because that'd be cool for people in ban states
Yes.
And an RX4 (MR1), and TX4 (A300 based precursor to the 1301).
I hate shitalians so much.
An Italian MCX.
Makes sense, I think its a good business decision considering the small arms environment and trends of today.
I just want a new Cx4 to go with my Px4...
Old news brother. The age of the fish ended before it even began.
>ARX200 never
What were they fucking thining - the AR 70/90 had sovl
>could have bought one for $600
WAKE ME UP
Cope
This is primarily my reason for being interested in the NARP
I’d LARP with a NARP.
Gotta win those small arms contracts
AR sovl comes from using your last brain cell to make it look like the latest blurred photo of whatever tier 1 unit makes it to instaberg
What the fuck were they thinking?
Tempted. I have an arx, ar70/90, mg42/59. Somebody's got to suck that Beretta dick, it ain't gonna suck itself.
If this comes to the US and is made in TN, then I will buy one despite already owning an MCX Virtus. I'm from TN and own two Beretta handguns made here. I need an A300 Ultima Patrol as well.

The Euros just know what is best.
Magcuck even had to make a whole Pro Euro generation of magazine just to be able to service Euros, at the cost of wobbling in american guns
>everyone is making piston rifles now
direct impingement sissies, how do we respond?
>euro military going to find out what American civilians figured out 10 years prior
Tale as old as time.
what about all the new american guns that are pistons?
>new
Piston ARs have a long history of not being reliable, finicky and prone to failure. Piston designs by pure respect of cycling back and forth has more room for hiccups. Springs, gas channels and gas vents demand ample room to move and work their magic. A 20" piston AR could definitely work and be reliable. Problem stems from taking that Piston concept and SLAMMING it down to fit an 11.5" AR barrel.
retard alert
piston guns have been proven and are better than DI ARs in short barreled applications
It may have been finicky when a bunch of smaller american companies were trying to convert DI BCGs to piston to cash in on the HK416 hype train, but most of the surviving designs made by bigger companies today (HK, LMT, PWS, LWRC) have had those kinks worked out.
Carrier tilt has not been an issue for over a decade
Okay homosexual. Come to my job and tell that to my the ex marine work friend with a limp cause his 416 jammed in a fire fight.
Preach brother.

Flip flop between DI and Piston. Piston designs on ARs just don't work. AR was invented with DI solely in mind, frankensteining them to be Piston keeps running into problems. Not even the AR's inventor, Stoner could get Piston ARs to work right. Piston guns need more space, more room to mechanically function. Trying to jam that into the short small AR handguard with a DI slim like profile just doesn't work.
Keep shidding and farding ig. poo goes in loo
Kneel.
Old news?
Wasn't Sako (part of Beretta) already making them?
Late to the game, the military already ditched it. Why aren't more companies making battle rifles especially in the new Fury round? Nobody wants a fucking AR, any retard who does definitely already has an AR.
I dont blame Beretta
they keep making cool to odd looking guns and everyone just poo-poo's them
and says they want something that looks and feels kinda like a Glock or AR15
so now Beretta makes guns that look like Glocks or AR15's and people still poo-poo
Same thing happened to HK with the UMP and G36
>everybody
Tech-9s are cool. A superb sub gun with a simple and elegant design brought low by crummy legislation, bad stigma, and erratic build quality. I wish they were still being made.
>Beretta
Hey, here’s a fully modernized Tech-9 design that the Swiss did that we bought and made some slight ergonomic improvements to… it’s made with the quality you can expect from Beretta
>everybody
Yeah… nah… that’s dumb.
>Beretta
Fuck it, import a few of the contract over runs as pistols and charge a butt load that the collectors will pay.
Stamped dust cover? Absolute/k/ino.
NARP was supposed to be a placeholder name. Hoping they don't call it something dumb like Hellion. Should be letters or number soup only.
Honestly could be ARX-15. I mean they already have the ARX-100, ARX-200, BRX-1
I'd be fine with anything but the random word soup they use for their shotguns. Even AR-15 would be fine. BR-15 would be my vote though.

I wonder if the gas system is similar to the ARX100’s (very simple and interesting design) or if it’s more like an AR18/G36/416/MCX
Holy shit. An MCX without indian MIM parts.
>indian MIM parts
which parts on the MCX are made in india?
Safety selector and some trigger components. Ya know.. SIG Sauer “When It Counts”.

>HK dominates the euro/spec ops markets
>SIG dominates the American market
>FN,CZ, and turkshit dominate smaller markets
>beretta gets cucked out of everything, from pistols in the modular handgun trials and copies, to shotguns/rifles everywhere else
this was a desperation move to make a BerettAR
>Founded: 1526
How do you exist for that long but not adapt to the market?
they did, in the 1980's, then they rested on their laurels thinking that the gun contracts would last as long as the 1911 would
Beretta basically invented guns and created "the market."
