It's good to see they didn't waste any time adopting Russian culture in the occupied Donbas

While giving birth to a new Donbabwean frontovik is truly a blessed event, it should not take place at the glorious watering hole sponsored by Russia. Most importantly the town bucket was unharmed.

      >Collecting spring water where someone took a shit because you have no functional plumbing

I can certainly see why this was worth starting a war over to live in such luxury

I was in African villages where taking water from the pond was such a distant memory that even asking about that time would probably be deemed offensive.

Russian infrastructure is shit. Out of all smoking incidents this one is most likely to be done by moronic hands of Russians

    Graphite bombs, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphite_bomb
Would explain why there were no explosions where heard but flashes and fires started, knocking out the electric network

Never knew this was a thing, pretty clever. If you do it often enough, you can can do prolonged damage. There was a huge ice storm that caused power lines to go down some years ago across the US Midwest, so many transformers were destroyed that it took 2 weeks for a replacement to be brought in to the apartment complex I lived in.

That was country-wide. In 2014, ironically as this shit storm started up, we had one reach down to Georgia and it cut us from power for 2 weeks as well. I lived off a kerosene heater for everything and it was actually kind of comfy not worrying about all the other normal shit.

Neat, I too had no idea this was a thing though it makes total sense. That'd definitely be a fun armament to supply the Ukrainians, and fit well, very focused with low to zero collateral damage yet quite effective against primitive russian shit.

Just guessing based on the videos, but my best guess is an attack like this.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metcalf_sniper_attack

The power grid is extremely vulnerable. Even simple snipers can take out the power grid by targeting the transformers. Even if you look at entire countries, there are not many of these transformers. And they take a long time to manufacture.

Russia has already targeted Ukrainian substations, I hope they sent in some guys to wreck them back.
