Been like 2 seasons of sweeping limestone over my patio to get rid of the weeds but they keep coming back. This year is actually worse than last year 🙁 how to permanently kill patio weeds? I do manually remove the weeds the best I can before putting down the limestone
that aint limestone
Are those carpet squares that are nailed to the ground?
Polymeric sand to seal the cracks? I'm just not sure if you'd be able to remove the squares easily after that, it might bond it all together.
Those are cement pavers. Sweep some salt into the cracks, plants don’t like salt.
Just mix salt + mineral oil and throw it over them. guaranteed to kill any life there.
Get some really concentrated vinegar and a sprayer bottle. Like the 20% stuff, not the stuff from the grocery store.
Works a treat.
Get yourself a propane torch and burn them to the root.
That’s not even remotely permanent. Tons of table salt work pretty good in my experience but it’s not 100% permanent either.
If you want permanent solution you remove all those pavers and do a real concrete pad.
Pressure washer it all out then add polymeric sand
This, or if the slabs are removable, remove them and put garden fabric underneath, put them back and then fill inbetween with a sand
put flower seeds and enjoy the view
Maybe try one of those ryobi patio cleaner with the spinning brush. Won't remove weeds forever but would make removing them everyonce in a while easier.
just use engine oil
Just let my wife plant stuff there, nothing will ever grow again!
Used antifreeze makes a good weed killer.
sweep a 50lb bag of salt into the cracks
put bags of salty milk and coins in between the slabs
Get your nieces fat gay wiener to nut in the cracks
>sweeping limestone over my patio to get rid of the weeds
Why did you think that would work? Did Chief put you up to it?
>This year is actually worse than last year 🙁
Well duh. The lime made them stronger! Crazy old Chief not correcting you when he said lye and you went and grabbed a big old bag of pH balancer.
pour benzin in cracks
Diesel works fine. My bro used JP-4 to edge his base housing pavers and applied it with a watering can so it wasn't obvious. He never got cited again.
