Also any to diy extermination (probably not)

Bonus points
Any diy bed bug trap to make so you can do an exterminator what they look like
and if maybe someone has a link to some archived thread about this or 4pleb thread about this i would be thankful for ti
If you find one bed bug you are fricked.
Temprid is what the pros use.
>If you find one bed bug you are fricked.
fricked as in you will never get rid of them ?
what if it is just eggs you see?
>fricked as in you will never get rid of them ?
fricked as in if you see one, there are a shitload you don't see (and certainly eggs).
you can always get rid of them eventually, but it might be a real pain in the ass, more expensive than replacing.
>what if it is just eggs you see?
then there are tons of them and they have been feeding on someone.
they are very difficult to kill and are often only vulnerable during first molt.
my dad had them, here is what had to be done to get rid of them.
you need to do the following:
get temprid (mix as directed).
remove mattress and box springs.
discard, and buy a new set, put them in a bed bug resistant bag.
spray every bit of the bed frame, every crack and crevice.
spray the walls and floor within 3 feet of the bed and up the walls.
move your bed away from the wall don't let bedding touch the walls or floors.
put bed bug trays under the legs of the bed, put diatomaceous earth in the trays.
wash ALL your clothes, curtains, and bedding in hot water and dry in a hot dryer.
upend and spray any furniture in the bedroom.
if at all possible sleep with the lights on the bed bugs will not come out when lights are on.
if possible move to a different room that you treat as above.
then MAYBE you might get rid of them.
>temprid (mix as directed)
This works by 1 bug gets in the chemical and then other passes it to other bugs right
no that's termite chemicals.
>You can try self heat treatment
near impossible to do ones self.
ex exterinators or current really could use your input here
>diy extermination
If you are in the north (places with actual winter) you just drain the pipes and let winter freeze them to death
how cold does it have to be to kill them?
i hear above 125 degrees also does the trick..any tricks to get an room up to 125 ?
No clue, ask google. Pretty sure it does not actually have to go below freezing but frick if I know, and you have to wait for the entire structure to cool down, not just the air in it, so a few days plus how ever long it takes for the bugs and the eggs to die.
>i hear above 125 degrees also does the trick..any tricks to get an room up to 125 ?
A shitload of electric heaters.
I had bedbugs, the second worst home experience of my life.
>How do identify a bed bug infestation for sure and severity of the infestation
They bite you. It's unmistakable, you'll have itchy bug bites every day.
>ex exterinators or current really could use your input here
Maybe I got a shitty exterminator, but they couldn't do shit. I threw out all my infected furniture, sealed all my clothing in airtight containers. Bought every brand new. A black person took the infected mattress, I didn't expect someone to take a mattress off the filthy street so I didn't put a sign or anything. Only found out later from a neighbor.
>you'll have itchy bug bites every day.
for alot of people you dont even notice the bite marks
>I had bedbugs, the second worst home experience of my life.
what was the first? natural disaster ?
>what was the first?
Yes, I was a victim of one of the major US floods of the last 10 years.
don't try to self-treat, especially with chemicals, they can spread into walls and shit I wouldn't risk it.
You can try self heat treatment but it would take lots of heaters and fans
Ive got rid of infestations on a couple of occassions. Closely examine the seams of your mattress and bedframe. That is usually the first place they will go followed by your headboards, trim and any furniture or furnishings where people are nearby. You have to declutter your house entirely, get a mattress cover and keep all your clothes and linens bagged and washed. You can buy bed bug insecticide and spray it where you looked before. Diatom powder works too but you will need insecticide aswell. Be prepared to potentially throw out a lot of furniture and electronics if the infestation is particuarly bad.
They can survive for months without eating, but cant survive the heat or cold. You can save a few things if you leave them out for the winter if it gets cold enough. Goodluck if your in an apartment or have roomates. Best to leave than and make sure you dont bring them with you.
