Pegasus was stupid. At least the Mk VII Vipers stuck to their lore guns by being neutered pieces of shit deprived of their future avionics network.

Binge watched this again a couple months ago.
The ending is kind of dumb in some ways, but the part with Starbuck and Apollo is brutal.

I stopped watching when it got stupid.
      How did it end?

fleet mixes with earthlings, throws 99% of tech into the sun, the cast is split into groups all headed to different parts of the world to start over, starbuck just ups and vanishes mid-convo with apollo cuz she is an angel

So many characters got a raw deal at the end. I guess Baltar was the best of, fricking that blond robot girl. Maybe Helo, but he had yellow fever and may have sired another Elliot Rodgers

True. Adama? Alone. Lee? Alone. Tyrol? Alone. And Tigh, well maybe he was happy with that roastie, can’t have too high standards when you’re a one-eyed Norwood 6.

And then there's the loopy epilogue that completely missed the opportunity to have Angel-Baltar deliver the line "Some people believe that life here, began out there." For a story that kept insisting that "This has all happened before, and will all happen again", that was a horrible oversight.

more than just a mod, it's pretty much a standalone game and THE viper simulator autism siumulator fan project. I just wish you could fly a Mk.2 instead of a Mk.7

Assembly, I can see. But not manufacturing. They literally can't have all the necessary machinery to built every button, engine, microchip, glass, controls, wiring, etc

That's not really that strange. We are trying to move in that direction with asteroid mining right now. The idea is that we will hopefully have a whole robot refinery/factory crammed into a spacecraft the size of a few school buses. Send it to a big rock and have it send back finished products.

Andromeda was the same way. Big craft, lots of robots and factories. If you have asteroids and time you can make any repairs or replacements.

I always assumes it was just assembly, and they just had a massive stockpile of components .

There’s episodes where they have to mine shit and another one where they’re making shell casings. Much of it is likely just assembly but there was some capacity for producing consumables at least. As well, they made their stealth ship from scratch, so there was a machine shop at least.

        >Space navy with space Air Craft Carriers that operate more or less the same as US Air Craft Carrier Battlegroups

One of the downsides of the ar15 is you have to ask does it do anything better than an ar that cost 300-400$ less? I’ve been trying to buy a PCC for years but they just don’t make sense

        Anonymous

        You are ridiculous.
        >do I really neeeeeeeeed this?
Black person do you really need half the shit you have? If you want a PCC then get one. If you don't then don't. This little min maxing game where you MUST justify every purchase by pretending it has a real world use is beyond moronic. Do you have a fighting rifle and a CC pistol? Good, now sell everything else because they're all useless to you. You won't though because you simply enjoy guns.

          Anonymous

PCC is like a 2 seat sports car where a 4 seat sedan is faster, cheaper, handles better, gets better mpg etc, uses cheaper fuel etc. I’m not going to buy a PCC based on emotions like a woman. It’s been 2@ years or more (whenever ruger discontinued their old one) I have been looking. You trying to peer pressure me won’t work.

            Anonymous

I'm not trying to peer pressure shit. I don't own one either because I think they're moronic. You though, you obviously want one and are heeing and hawing about actually get one. Ironically, this is much more feminine than you accused me of being and I can only assume that you've never tried to take a woman out to a restaurant.
Like I said, you want to be based and logical? Sell all your other guns except your AR and pistol. You want to just man up? Then buy it or don't and stop agonizing over something menaingless. You want to keep being moronic? Just keep doing what you're doing.
