I feel really bad for Girkin.

If the Ukrop counteroffensive really does frick over Russia's standing in Ukraine and he gets captured, I hope he's the last to be tried.

Dude's watching the insurgency masterpiece he orchestrated fall apart because Monke took a sledgehammer to it in favor of "restore soviet union".

Sad thing is all he was in the end was a usefull idiot for Russia and he realises this. He was used by Putin to further his goals and in the end got fricked over and left with no money and power. Perfect timeline would be if he defected to Ukraine, but he would most likely get killed by Ukrainians so it won't happen. I don't see him getting any relevancy staying with Russia, he will most likely doompost untill Russia loses this war, and then either neck himself or fade into obscurity.

                >and then either neck himself or fade into obscurity

If there are going to be any war trials after this war, he could get fricked over and given to the West by whoever controlls Russia at that point as a gesture of good will. This would be obvious from a mile away and I would think Girkin will flee somewhere if the situation ever started to get to that point. I doubt he would enjoy spending the rest of his life in a Ukrainian prison.
I don't think there would be a good ending in any situation for Girkin, even if Russia wins this war and he realises this which is one of the reasons for the doomposting.

How would this thing even work? Itd have to be pic related cause I dont think they have any way of putting a remote system in there. Can they even aim it from inside the moron copula lmao?

It's a crew served weapon. I'd assume it has at least a gunner and a loader. Sights are WW2 style spider AA sights. Supposed to be hydraulically powered but it's unclear if they'll be able to use that on the MT-LB so Pidor might have to crank like a motherfricker.

        >Sights are WW2 style spider AA sights.
And someone was calling these things 'Bradley killers' earlier, kek.

It is not powered. It is turnning by hands like some ww2 tanks. I'm chinese and there is a old soviet missile boat in the museum in my city. She has the same twin 25mm as main gun. I once played that turret when I was 10 or so and from my memory the turret can be turned in a relative fast speed.
There was a ZPU near the boat and I also turnned the ZPU. I think ZUP is actually less fast like this turret.

There’s two monkeys in. The cylinder, not just one. The first hand cranks the turret around the horizontal axis and the other aims and firez

Like postend in the other thread, two vatniks have to crew it.

Also they squat in it and are sitting pretty high up which means that the top of their heads are visible.

      Further information:
      >gunner sits on the left
      >the 65 round belts are fed from the ammo box on the right
      >the loader uses the door on the right side of the turret to change the boxes and feed the belts
      >the loader has to disembark, climb on top of a vehicle and stand fully exposed to do his job
      >each ammo box is 35kg so likely a second loader passes the ammo up to the loader standing on the roof
      >the vehicle has no steps or footing as it wasn't designed for people to stand on top of it

Also it's water cooled. The exact wording had some in /k/ wondering if by water cooled they meat a reservoir pumping water through the machinery or a vatnik having to stand with a hose and shot water at it when it's warm.

It is originally ship mounted weapon, guy with water hose standing next to it. I guess they could send fire trucks to accompany these MT-LB's.

Gunner sits in the top part. Lower cylindrical part on ships goes below deck. There located hydraulic motors (powered by AC current from ship's power supply) for powered turret traverse. Here most probably powered traverse doesn't work and would be manual only.

So naturally, rather than sending some of their supposedly massive fleet of ready-to-go reserves to the front, they Black person rig a hand-cranked naval gun onto a tractor from the 1950s.

    >This gun was based upon the 84-KM which was designed in 1943-44. The specifications for a new weapon were first developed in 1945 and then modified in 1947. Trials started in 1949 and the gun was accepted into service in 1953 as 110-PM. Manufacturing in the USSR continued until 1984.
