Sad thing is all he was in the end was a usefull idiot for Russia and he realises this. He was used by Putin to further his goals and in the end got fucked over and left with no money and power. Perfect timeline would be if he defected to Ukraine, but he would most likely get killed by Ukrainians so it won't happen. I don't see him getting any relevancy staying with Russia, he will most likely doompost untill Russia loses this war, and then either neck himself or fade into obscurity.

He's type of person that Warlord Shoigu or Warlord Kadyrov would sell to west for 100 AKs

If there are going to be any war trials after this war, he could get fucked over and given to the West by whoever controlls Russia at that point as a gesture of good will. This would be obvious from a mile away and I would think Girkin will flee somewhere if the situation ever started to get to that point. I doubt he would enjoy spending the rest of his life in a Ukrainian prison.
I don't think there would be a good ending in any situation for Girkin, even if Russia wins this war and he realises this which is one of the reasons for the doomposting.
How would this thing even work? Itd have to be pic related cause I dont think they have any way of putting a remote system in there. Can they even aim it from inside the retard copula lmao?
It's a crew served weapon. I'd assume it has at least a gunner and a loader. Sights are WW2 style spider AA sights. Supposed to be hydraulically powered but it's unclear if they'll be able to use that on the MT-LB so Pidor might have to crank like a motherfucker.
It is not powered. It is turnning by hands like some ww2 tanks. I'm chinese and there is a old soviet missile boat in the museum in my city. She has the same twin 25mm as main gun. I once played that turret when I was 10 or so and from my memory the turret can be turned in a relative fast speed.
There was a ZPU near the boat and I also turnned the ZPU. I think ZUP is actually less fast like this turret.
Like postend in the other thread, two vatniks have to crew it.
Also they squat in it and are sitting pretty high up which means that the top of their heads are visible.
Further information: >gunner sits on the left >the 65 round belts are fed from the ammo box on the right >the loader uses the door on the right side of the turret to change the boxes and feed the belts >the loader has to disembark, climb on top of a vehicle and stand fully exposed to do his job >each ammo box is 35kg so likely a second loader passes the ammo up to the loader standing on the roof >the vehicle has no steps or footing as it wasn't designed for people to stand on top of it
Also it's water cooled. The exact wording had some in PrepHole wondering if by water cooled they meat a reservoir pumping water through the machinery or a vatnik having to stand with a hose and shot water at it when it's warm.
Jesus fucking christ imagine being an IT systems admin and getting mobiked and they tell you it's your job to load this thing on the front lines.
Do you just try and find a sewer drain pipe to climb in during the night and try to Shawshank it, or just jump in front of a passing truck?
Gunner sits in the top part. Lower cylindrical part on ships goes below deck. There located hydraulic motors (powered by AC current from ship's power supply) for powered turret traverse. Here most probably powered traverse doesn't work and would be manual only.
>You see, when naval weapons put on tractor it cannot sink like Moskva.
inb4 someone gets the bright idea that MT-LB are technically amphibious and gets them sunk
So naturally, rather than sending some of their supposedly massive fleet of ready-to-go reserves to the front, they moron rig a hand-cranked naval gun onto a tractor from the 1950s.
At this point it would GENUINELY be a better idea to just start taking old T34 turrets and bolting those on instead. Fuck even BT and T70-80 turrets would do.
Why the vertical orientation? I can't really even think of another weapon system that has that, almost everything else is a side by side setup? where they that constrained for space?
>shit armour >shit penetration (25mm) >11 inches from the chassis making it easy to spot and hit >65 round magazine with high firerate enough to devour it in seconds >somebody needs to come from the hatch to feed it ammoboxes
What is russia planning to use this vatnik casket for?
Anons I found this, this is what they are using, it is a goddamn death trap

About how old this shit is >This gun was based upon the 84-KM which was designed in 1943-44. The specifications for a new weapon were first developed in 1945 and then modified in 1947. Trials started in 1949 and the gun was accepted into service in 1953 as 110-PM. Manufacturing in the USSR continued until 1984.
So is this a Donbabwean production or official RAF making?
there's a difference?
Where would the Donbabweans have gotten naval guns?
from the donbabwean navy. or did you forget that donbabwe is russia now?
the moskva
He said Donbabwean, not Atlantian
If Donbabwe stripped all the AA guns from the Moskwa, that actually would explain how it was sunken so easily
Where would donbabwe acquire naval guns? It's genuine russian engineering and technology
Its coming straight from russia
donbabwe doesn't exist anymore, russia absorbed it
>donbabwe doesn't exist anymore, russia absorbed it
And you could have it all, my empire of dirt
I wonder how depressed Girkin must be currently.
He's in the acceptance stage now if you read his Telegram. Beginning to prepare for 1917 2.0
I feel really bad for Girkin.
If the Ukrop counteroffensive really does fuck over Russia's standing in Ukraine and he gets captured, I hope he's the last to be tried.
Dude's watching the insurgency masterpiece he orchestrated fall apart because Monke took a sledgehammer to it in favor of "restore soviet union".
>when your plan to restore the Russian Empire goes so perfectly that the Soviet Union naturally forms from it
It's like poetry, it rhymes.
Sad thing is all he was in the end was a usefull idiot for Russia and he realises this. He was used by Putin to further his goals and in the end got fucked over and left with no money and power. It's almost like history is something he could've learned from... nah. Let him suffer.
He looks so miserable.
Whatever he may have done, he only killed people, which is forgivable.
It's the other way around
they took them from old ww2 ships.
not even kidding.
What's the difference?
RAF making. Send from Vladivostok. Donbass has no stocks of MTLBs and 50s outdated naval guns.
How would this thing even work? Itd have to be pic related cause I dont think they have any way of putting a remote system in there. Can they even aim it from inside the retard copula lmao?

And someone was calling these things 'Bradley killers' earlier, kek.

There’s two monkeys in. The cylinder, not just one. The first hand cranks the turret around the horizontal axis and the other aims and firez
Thats just the monkey model.

wtf imagine this thing fighting against Bradleys and Leopards lmao
>imagine this thing fighting against Bradleys
Gun has half the MV of a Bradley's Bushmaster. Only AP ammo is solid steel shot with 30mm-ish of pen at 500m.
>filename
l-lewd!
Jesus fucking christ imagine being an IT systems admin and getting mobiked and they tell you it's your job to load this thing on the front lines.
Do you just try and find a sewer drain pipe to climb in during the night and try to Shawshank it, or just jump in front of a passing truck?
>Also it's water cooled
mighty russian bear is in no need of such western globohomo gayry
Do they seriously not know about quick-change barrels over there?
holy shit
>it's water cooled.
Looking at the diagram for the gun, there's no water jacket, so it's literally a serf with a bucket dousing it down during reloading.
It is originally ship mounted weapon, guy with water hose standing next to it. I guess they could send fire trucks to accompany these MT-LB's.
>ship sinks
>watercooled cannons work perfectly
I don't see any issue here
It looks like they pulled an AA turret off a WW2 Destroyer.
>You see, when naval weapons put on tractor it cannot sink like Moskva.
inb4 someone gets the bright idea that MT-LB are technically amphibious and gets them sunk
Instead it can fly like Tochka
>they've already burned through their legendary soviet arsenal of mothballed IFVs in a year
It's not likely the case. They probably just need more armored things with big guns in more places. It's a really big front and you can't have enough
So naturally, rather than sending some of their supposedly massive fleet of ready-to-go reserves to the front, they moron rig a hand-cranked naval gun onto a tractor from the 1950s.
>puccians could get more vehicles from storage if they wanted to!
Fellow Z-gods...how do we counter this?
lel
Carolinian bridge magic is too strong
One bunker buster should do it, comrade.
If we come to a bridge, our vehicles continue exactly as it were not there.
do you know how old those photos are?
I know of russian logisitc fuel trucks hitting cars at red lights as they traveled through east ukraine
The Zoopark-1M happened on April 29 in Voronezh.
That not that bridge's first rodeo.
ouch
https://twitter.com/oryxspioenkop/status/1632039212882051072
What is that...thing...armed with?
Some kind of dual autocannon?
yeah, iirc it's missile boat aa turret from the 50s
Its a ww2 ship turret mounted on a bmp from 1952
At this point it would GENUINELY be a better idea to just start taking old T34 turrets and bolting those on instead. Fuck even BT and T70-80 turrets would do.
Wartrak is the first to the fight!!
Putin boots 9000
i'm not going to pretend this this isn't pure 100% kino
Some of them already captured.
That was a 2M-7 with 2 14.5 KPV.
This is a 2M-3 with 2 25 mm cannons.
Is...is the new one better?
is a double down of a bad idea, in that sense i guess its better
significantly worse, as you might know if you read the fucking posts in the thread
>you might know if you read the fucking posts in the thread
Sorry anon I can't read.
different vehicle, but the one in OP (top) is a captured one. That's how we found out about it.
>ME FACE WEN ALL DAT DAKKA
wait. we could fit the KV-2 turrets for maximum profits
reckon russia should just turn its barely functional t72 and t62 hulks into pic related
That would require actual metallurgical work, not just strapping Chinese electronics onto 50 year old rusty hulls.
>10,000 T-72's ready to roll over the border by the way.
Nothing personal NATO
soon.
Kino
>you now realize the tsar cannon was literally the Armata project from centuries ago, down to the name
>Just two big shootas
Not killy enuff. Put a skorcha and some saw blades on it, ya git.
Why the vertical orientation? I can't really even think of another weapon system that has that, almost everything else is a side by side setup? where they that constrained for space?
fucking lost it
great job anon
>shit armour
>shit penetration (25mm)

>65 round magazine with high firerate enough to devour it in seconds
>somebody needs to come from the hatch to feed it ammoboxes
What is russia planning to use this vatnik casket for?
Russians calculated that it won't need resupply because this shitbox will be destroyed before running out of 65 shells
not unreasonable
They can use it for indirect fire to support the troops and hide it from ATGMs. How impactful is that going to be, nobody knows really.
I saved this image last March. I like how it's even more true now than it was back then.
I spy a qt low current welder
id almost suspect its an arc welder
Anons I found this, this is what they are using, it is a goddamn death trap

At his point, I am sure we will see russian Maus on mtlb chassis.
