The gun in OP is all-steel. It would be worth $1500 to $1800 from any other brand.
Caniks perform better than equivalent Walthers too.

Turkshit cope. No turk*sh gun is worth more than $250, even then I wouldn't touch it outside the range

I probably wouldn't say. They're just really good quality pistols for the price. They work great and are trustworthy.

    Canik? No. Tisas? Yes.
Turkish brands vary wildly, so do your research.

Instead of buying a shitty Canik wannabe-glock, how about you buy a Tisas 9mm 1911 doublstack?

I bought a canik recently online while drunk. surprisingly it's my favorite range pistol now. Leagues better trigger than my 2 glocks and m&ps. came with optic cut, flared magwell and a 21 rounder. i would never have bought turkshit, but honestly i don't regret it. everyone on israelitetube has nothing but good to say about it and I have to agree.

I keep a Canik TP9SA (the original) next to my bed and will open carry it during the winter.

2000k rounds and only two malfunctions. I love that gun because not only do you just pick it up and it goes bang (no safety, etc.) the trigger is really fricking good. Breaks right where you want...

caniks are good, but i wouldnt pay more than 600-650 for a rival
i like my elite, and would love to mess with a subcompact and a rival sometime
its a good alternative to glocks and other basic polymer pistols, but theres some real nice HKs and FNs that are a lot better even if theyre pricier.
the SFXs are a good deal because you can get an IDPA/IPSC compliant pistol without dropping at least a fricking grand on just the gun and no accessories. though im sure if you wind up getting really into such pistol shooting, youll wind up with something nicer eventually, but its a nice way to try it without breaking the bank.

No turkshit has ever been an even remotely acceptable quality for an actual self defense gun. Some don't even last as range toys. The turk G3s are going to suck ass too.
