the only way for developed countries to bring fertility rate to net positive would be to institute a pseudo-slavery system to something similar to what Saudi Arabia does.

Ethnic nationalism, israeli israelites have this siege mentality which allows them to not just have a MIC but use it without any real effectual inner opposition, aside from a very vocal academic minority (eg: Harari and WEF friends) most of them know the importance of culture, family and nation, we all should actually be more like them rather than obsess about them and do nothing, every western country should be proud of themselves, with a strong MIC, know someone out there want us dead and ready for action no matter what someone says in social media.

Many developed countries such as Sweden, Germany, South Africa, Turkey, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada are considered “a screw’s turn away” from developing nukes. It’s WWII technology, after all, and everyone I mentioned has nuclear power already, so they can make plutonium.
Hardest part is miniaturizing the early designs to fit in a missile, since bombers are vulnerable and ballistic missile submarines require more expertise.
But like I said… its mid-1940’s technology for the bomb itself, and 1950’s technology for the missile.
And let’s be honest: if Pakistan and India can do it…

waste plutonium from reprocessing of power reactor fuel is not weapons grade, it is possible to produce it in a civilian reactor but it's far from optimal and you need to take the unit off the grid because of frequent refueling outages, pretty sure they weren't doing that

In 2022, the country had 12 overseas territories: Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, La Réunion, Mayotte, Saint Barthélemy, Saint Martin, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Wallis and Futuna, French Polynesia, New Caledonia and the French Southern and Antarctic Territories.

France possesses four Le Triomphant-class ballistic missile submarines (SSBNs).

France possesses four Rubis-class and two Améthyste-class nuclear-propelled attack submarines (SSNs).

France possesses one Barracuda-class nuclear-propelled attack submarine (SSN). The Suffren is the first of six Barracuda-class submarines.
Le Triomphant-class submarines carry 16 vertically launched M45 ballistic missiles as well as a TN-71 thermonuclear warhead with six Multiple Independently-targetable Reentry Vehicles (MIRVs).6 These vessels will be progressively adapted to carry 16 M-51 thermonuclear warheads each, with a range of 8,000km by 2018. The final vessel, Le Terrible, entered into service in 2010 and is equipped with 16 new M-51 submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs) each carrying a nuclear warhead with six MIRVs.

      British

      The 14 territories are:
Anguilla; Bermuda; British Antarctic Territory (BAT); British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT); British Virgin
Islands; Cayman Islands; Falkland Islands; Gibraltar; Montserrat; Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno
      Islands; Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha; South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands;
Turks and Caicos Islands; UK Sovereign Base Areas.

The four ballistic missile submarines (SSBN) of the Royal Navy are all of the Vanguard class.
The United Kingdom is estimated to possess 225 nuclear weapons, of which 120 are operationally available and only 40 are deployed at a time. The French and British together are capable of killing most of the Russian population with a first salvo of over 100 warheads, destroying all population centres in Russia over 120,000 people including every major regional center, port, industrial and transport hub immediately killing or leaving 73 million dead or dying.A second salvo from another nuclear submarine from each nation would destroy every population center over 57,000 and a further 11.5 million. By the time the French and British have utilized the payloads of just 2 of each of their four each nuclear missile subs 3/4 of the Russian population is dead and every major piece of infrastructure in Russia ruined.

In any case it does not matter. As the euro descent burger population withers away so does the interest in europe. To be replaced with south america. This includes militarily where all that is left of the power projection forces focus on maintaining and protecting the two continents. France and Britain, along with germany, have been the traditional big boys of euroland and as burger military fades away so will their power projection capacities replace the vacuum out of pure necessity. This inlcudes nooks and nooking russia if need be

The constant pro-Korea shilling is what woke me up to why the Japanese are so racist against them. Before I just considered them somewhat equal to Japanese just with less cultural impact. But the constant shilling forced me to actually pay attention and what I found out is that they’re just soulless cheating lying thieves without any actual culture of their own. Dude they got fricked their entire history by both the Chinese and the Japs. Their king had to have to approval of the Chinese ambassador. They had no choice but to drink the confucian cool-aid the whole fricking way. 150 years ago they were behind medieval Europe at the turn of the 1000s in almost every possible way.

Surely, this has nothing to do with all of the infrastructure that Japanese built, they're a bunch of heckin' colonizers and need to pay reparations despite already having done so decades ago.

I'm not an expert on their history, but iirc they had a bunch of modernization movement that got put down very harshly by the bureaucracy before the Japs took over. The French, Brits and Americans were already there, and the Japs got their reforms mostly from the French themselves. The Battle of Ganghwa had already shown to a lot of joseon that they were absolutely underpowered against everyone.

Got no dog in the fight but do know their histories

Korea was like the Caucacus region, very small population of near-barbarian tier people living in mountains that were impossible to defeat in actual warfare...late 1800s a bunch of Korean progressives wanted to modernize and overthrow their monkey tier royalty so colluded with Japan to annex the country without a single shot being fired, simply annexation after overthrowing their monkey tier royalty

Japan proceeds to build up Korea until the japs got nuked...everybody in the region effectively starts over with the US dictating everything

Post ww2/Korean War both Japan and South Korea develop with US backing to counter China/Soviets/Norks...Japan does better until the 1990s but the US never really trusted japan largely due to everything that lead to the nukes in the first place...South Korea embraces US westernization, last few decades South Korea gradually surpasses Japan, today the gap is noticeable and arguably to a point South Korea is a hyper-technology driven nation and Japan is barely ahead of Eastern Europe today (eastern euros have made a lot of progress post Soviets)

t ex-vet with tours in both regions, ex-pat business living in both countries for over a decade with property in both capitals

Eh, arguable. If every last piece of media that comes out of country, including personal testimonies, are to be believed their military is more like a hazing crash course than anything else. I'd assume they are actually somewhat closer to russians in quality, i.e. still much better than their main opponent but it will get them mind-boggling amount of moronness induced casualties before they can get their shit together.

        >Dude they got fricked their entire history by both the Chinese
tbh chinks always were just so comically inept at warfare that at some points of history even small isolated korea mogged them

        > South Korea 167.5k gwh nuclear
        > Japan 51.9k gwh nuclear

On a per capita basis SK is at the top of the world, Japan is around Bulgaria or Hungary tier on a per capita nuclear basis

Also ROK just announced billions more of government backed investments on next gen nuke technologies to include small modular capable of putting nuclear power on everything down to fishing and recreational powerboats

The reality is SK and maybe France and the US are the only real nuclear technology powers

You are an obvious moron, who said anything about per capita?

Total nuclear power generation South Korea (50 million population) is 167k gwh, Japan (125 million population) is 51k gwh so yeah per capita SK is like 10x+ but on an actual nominal basis still over 3x more and again the gap is widening...ROK is pouring billions into next gen nuclear tech compared to Japan that is still debating whether to even use nuclear or not...everybody in Japan and ROK already knows that ROK could scorched earth Japan land sea and air at anytime but they are actually geopolitically closer than weebs realize...the US knows ROK is the real military power in the region with a stated capability of assembling 4k+ nuclear warheads for $1 billion (chump change) in a few months and probably 100k+ over the course of a few years...that is why the US and ROK have a nuclear weapons pact where both plan and prepare for contingencies...the real question is whether Japan can join this group but will require approval from both the US and SK...ironically its more likely that SK will approve than the US

For decades Japan tried to intrude on the islands and nearby waters but everything ROK either killed the japs or captured/imprisoned them, this is part of the butthurt the japs feel about Dokto/Takeshima, hundreds of japs have been killed and thousands imprisoned even if they hinted at going close to Dokto...to this day Dokto is literally a ROK naval outpost + SK tourist destination

      >At least Chinese have their own culture.

      Korean cultural exports:
Music (Korean artists hit worldwide top 100's regularly)
TV (every white and asian girl under 25 watches Korean drama)
Games (pioneered the MMORPG genre, hugely influential in e-sports)
Food (KBBQ, Samyang, Shin Ramyun, kimchi, soju)
      Memes (fricking gangnam style)
Technology (Samsung is the world's 2nd phone manufacturer and made flip phones a thing again. LG produces the best screens in the world although that's maybe not a cultural export per se)

      Chinese cultural exports:
Tik Tok? (The original Chinese version is different though)
Sichuan food? (I love that shit but most people around me don't)
Genshin Impact? (Which is a shameless clone of Japanese art and game design)
There's that whole "did you know China has E-V-s" push lately, maybe that counts for something

No for real I'm struggling here, no one in the West listens to Chinese music, no one watches Chinese TV, no one drinks Maotai Baijiu and eats Piss Eggs. And this comes from someone who's been to Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan AND took a year of Mandarin Chinese. On the other hand I've never been to Korea and speak maybe 10 words Korean on a good day.

what can be done is exactly nothing. Since its a self correcting problem. Cant be bothered to type that much in detail as the demographic doomers are like flat earthers in that they always return to their favorite brand of doomium no matter when faced with what reality

All this ass kveching means is that its a period with less kids and more elderly. Which creates incentives to have more kids down the line as the elderly die off. Main reason media mouth pieces are hysterical over this is because of the failing welfare states that are losing their tax bases. Which means cuts are inbound or debts defaulting. Both are bad for electable politicians as it is suicide for their careers. Regular boomers are sweating because it also means state guaranteed pensions are going to get the axe or severely gutted in one way or another. Nobody wants to hear they have to work until they die or until they have kids that are willing to keep them by their side as they earn the money. Which is how traditionally it has been done. Elderly help with the household and watch the kids while adults earn money.

Then there are the eternal turdies that are seething hard in their inferiority complexes and one of the few copiums they have left is that they shit out babies without rime or reason. In hopes of course that they can wipe out the hated whitey with sheer number of monkey spam. f.e. Bangladesh alone has something like 165 mil mouth breathers while germany has 84 million

    >What the frick is the problem of South Korean society?
In short, most the country is owned by a tiny group of conglomerates. Those massive, mostly family-run business conglomerates are called chaebol. Stuff like Samsung, which by itself owns about a quarter of SK's entire national GDP. Just 64 of these families own over 90% of SK's GDP, making them completely entrenched and uncaring about the rest of the population. Consequently, 99% of the population has become neglected, and SK's conscription system is about as caring about its soldiers as Russia's is (hint: Russia's conscripts are notorious for raping each other, or getting raped by their superiors. SK's is similar.)

Result: SK has the lowest fertility and highest percentage of people that want to leave it.

Chaebols are nothing more than family run businesses in the west(let that be Beretta or Cargill). They're much more humane than private equities which are nearly impossible to track down the actual ownerships of companies.

No, anon. Chaebols being 'family run businesses' in SK merely means that they can openly flaunt that they are untouchable, with anyone being caught in corruption scandals (which included driving their workers into mass suicide for nothing more than shits and giggles like a fricking cartoon villain) getting pardoned by the president on live TV without ever even needing to attend court hearings. However bad you may think things in the US are, things are 10 times worse in SK.

gay, chaebols are feudal nobility there.

The Korean Peninsula has had over 100+ recorded wars and despite being sparsely population compared to their neighbors have only 1 recorded loss in warfare: Mongols and Korea ended up signing a truce where all Korean male royals were "forced" to marry Mongol female princes. This is the only time in recorded history that the entire Korean Peninsula has "lost" a war.

There was even a war between Koguryo and Sui (the ruling Chinese dynasty) where something like 5+ million Chinese invaded Korea which was defended by 300,000 Koreans, the result was almost every Chinese soldiers killed and almost no Korean casualties, literally lead to the fall of that dynasty

The 1890-1945 Japanese occupation was an annexation, no combat involved, and collusion by certain business elites in Korea with Japanese elites

The Korean War was a tie with Koreans doing 90%+ of the combat

Even in situations where some parts of the peninsula were defeated it was primarily due to other parts of the peninsula doing most of the combat and strategy.

Its actually a remarkable wartime record given how outnumbered they were by China and Japan throughout history - in fact the population gap today is by far the closest the Korean Peninsula has been to both of their neighbors, if you look at European nations that had a far closer population ratio but were constantly invaded and conquered (Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, etc) its about as good a wartime record as it gets

            >The Korean War was a tie with Koreans doing 90%+ of the combat
sounds like bullshit to me. they ran like hell and left the americans to fight for them.

Not really, Samsung is more like Disney, they own your news networks, your refridgerator, your car, 25% of the stuff in your house is from them.

The US really doesn't have any mega conglomerates left the way Asia does. Diversification was the fad back in the '80s, that's why things like Cyberpunk or Blade Runner portrayed the dystopian future the way they did, but in the US that idea became disfavored, and a more limited approach of expanding into you're "core markets" became the ideal. One of our chief conglomerates, General Electric, has spent the five years or so selling off bits of itself because the system only worked as long as Welch was at the helm. But the Asians never got past diversification. They're still fond of giant corporations with fingers in dozens of totally unrelated pies. Hell, one of the primary shareholders in PrepHole is a Japanese toy company.

      >But do they like it is the question?
Korea basically threw away it's past and treats some of their most prominent military leaders as traitors because anyone who was anyone during the Korean war had pro-Imperial Japanese sentiment. Now there is no glory to be gained in the ROKA because at any moment you can have your career destroyed since they did it to the literal saviors of their country. The conscription system in Korea is just there to punish men for being men and to become toys for the career military guys. All in all everything seen as militaristic is just an extension of the Japanese influence. For example the founder of the ROKMC was a massive weaboo and wore a Katana on his hip during his inauguration

          >>your countrymen are indignant when you think that was kinda cool
That wasn't even a popular sentiment until the 80s/90s. Most of the anti-Japanese sentiment was held by the North. For one the Korean liberation movements could only operate in the North where they could escape to Chinese territories, and most of the policies that modern day Koreans blame the Japanese for were primarily enacted in the North due to the proximity to the front. Wartime laborers were typically taken from the North as they were closer to the factories also in the north and North Korea also got bombed to shit by the allies during WW2. I honestly see no issue with modern day North Korea's anti-Japanese sentiment as they bore the brunt of most of Japan's bad treatment.

The South on the other hand are a bunch of gays and can't complain about shit. The South was basically treated identically to Taiwan who see the Japanese occupation as much nicer than both the Nationalist and Communist Chinese occupations. The South was extremely disconnected from the war and saw no strategic bombing campaigns and were treated quite well by the Japanese as the start of the east-asia co prosperity sphere. Most of the Southerners were businessmen, politicians, diplomats, scholars, and other aristocrats who lead very cushy jobs as the South was seen as a major economic powerhouse in the making. The Japanese modernized all their infrastructure in the interwar period and generally improved the living conditions for the average person and the treatment was the same you would see in any European colony at the time. It was common for wealthy families to send their sons to Japanese military colleges as a job as an IJA or IJN officer was one of the most prestigious jobs you could hold at the time. The South was basically untouched by the Japanese war machine and were basically propped up to become Japan's fancy economic powerhouse, so their anger at anything Japanese is moronic.

I should also point out that prior to Japanese annexation, Korea was under Chinese administration. In a timeline where Japan never annexed Korea, the entire country would have turned communist either through CCP or Soviet influence and every person actively living in the ROK would be living in a super hell DPRK spanning the entire peninsula. Regardless of if you view Japan's occupation as good or bad, Japan's occupation preventing communist influence from spreading uncontested and allows your average asiatic to eat kimchi and dog while listening to Kpop instead of working in some coal mining camp.

this seems so weird to a outsider specially considering what a legend admiral Yi Sun Sin and his successful anti nipp invasion campaign seems to be to their national mythos. In contrast all media related depicting the resistance to the nipp occupation if the ww1/ww2 era gives off that distinct french resistance in media vibe. Where you get the sense that what you see in media is a wishful thinking of what the real thing should have been vs what it was in reality.

Gross urban culture of ultra consumerism.
They work way to many hours and focus way too much on keeping up with the jones'.
Entire self worth is being able to consume higher value products.
Men and women divide is probably because men work so much they are basicly absent from thier family most of thier lives. This means thier only self worth and identity is how good of a material provider they are and position in a giant megacorp.
Broken society, but exactly what elites want in a population farmed for wealth.
