no, you hear less because you wear ear protection and because of the constant banging, and it's very easy to develop tunnel vision when under massive stress and constant mortal danger. someone probably saw that guy entering the shitter, they seem to know exactly where he is

Its hard to pick up on a blurry ass camera but when you're in the zone either natty or drugged up you can perceive things you normally wouldn't

Thanks OP I saved this webm to demonstrate the inferiority of 5.45 when compared to 5.56. Guy took over a dozen 5.45 shots and still got up. Wouldn't have happened if he was shot with 5.56 that is for sure.

        >no chance to surrender
That's a big rough, I don't know the situation and this could be a arty crew that was shelling civilians but I think generally the right thing is to give him a "surrender or die" ultimatum when he's trapped in a 3' x 3' box with a single exit.

there are several recent research papers that link 'depth' of perception and the rate at which your brain processes signals from your sensory organs to heart rate and rate of breathing.

basically the consensus is: as long as the lung can transfer enough oxygen from your lungs to your blood every heart beat causes a spike of signal processing in your brain. the higher the heart rate the more short spikes of intense signal processing.
