Are nukes covered by the second amendment?
Hypothetically if I were Jeff Bezos could I argue in court that it's my constitutional right to own ICBMs?

He was a gay but I think he handled the occupation of Japan pretty well and managed to turn them into an ally.

Nukes shouldnt even exist. No person or ~~*government*~~ should have them. People should be able to own tanks and rockets and stuff though. If the government has it then we should have it, but with great power comes great responsibility and that requires a Christian moral compass

Hypothetically if a private citizen with no ties to the government became the owner of an ICBM, and unilaterally decided to nuke the Three Gorges Dam, would China consider that a deceleration of war?

Once humanity becomes a space faring race, I don't think there really is going to be way to regulate what is legal and what is not.

    >nukes covered
Unfortunately no, nuclear weapons would fall under international law, and trying to acquire or build them would bring the ire of other nations, and as such would require you to submit to inspection or they'll send special forces to eliminate you or simply nuke you.

    >Are nukes covered by the second amendment?
Even firearms aren't completely covered by the second amendment. You're not allowed to have anything that the government doesn't think of as a toy.
    >Hypothetically if I were Jeff Bezos could I argue in court that it's my constitutional right to own ICBMs?
If you were Jeff Bezos you could argue in court that it's your constitutional right to slaughter children in broad daylight and consume their youthful essence.

I think if I remember correctly a lot of the actual nuts and bolts nuclear info is covered as classified and then theirs a further distinction called “born secret” that essentially makes it so if you go through the trouble to figure it out yourself independently that information is still considered classified and they confiscate it. Not a lawyer though…

Why would you need to? Elon and spceex launches their ICBM's every month. As long as you can get your rocket into orbit it's already a ICBM.

    But what about bioweapons?

  17. 2 years ago

Yes. Even things like cannons used to be privately owned so there’s no legal reason why a nuke can;t be. If they were maybe it would force the world to take nuke disarmament seriously. These things should not exist, period. They’re nothing but a shield for for the world’s shitholes.

Who knows, maybe God set it up this way.
