Look up the F2000 program and you'll have an answer to your question

Bro your trigger? Your trigger bro? What do you mean you want to have enough barrel to reach lethal velocity for your intermediate cartridge and have a compact package? Your trigger? Your mushy trigger sir? Sir just use a barrel half as long as it should be sir! SIR!

Obligatory post for any bullpup thread. This is the primary reason why bullpups have garnered such a negative reputation even when modern bullpups do not suffer from any of the deficiencies typically associated with the layout.

A look at the thumbnail is enough to know it's cancer, frick off
nah, it's a good explanation on why the civilian AUG trigger is "special" and why other bullpups triggers are different from it, even tho the dude is being cring the whole time explaning it but zoomers brains can't handle info if you don't slap memes on your shit every 5 minutes

This but unironically. Imagine spending $1500+ on a gun that is more plastic than a glock and you can't even work on it as easily as an AR. Worst of all, it has a shitty mushy trigger.

as a rifle to just own & shoot, they're perfectly fine; anyone who says otherwise is literally lying
i've found no more issues with mine than i've had with plenty other types of guns, biggest drawback i've found with bullpups is that they can "feel" heavier in the hand
its not made of magic or some shit, it won't suck your dick, but it won't give you aids either, its just a gun
Concept is great, you can have a 20" barrel in a shorter overall package. Biggest issue is small militaries cheaping out on stuff like triggers, non STANAG mags and generally doing weird shit with them.
This whole post is a bit like saying >Are bolt action rifles good or are they trash?
The answer will allways be depends on what you intend to use it for and what things you prioritize for that.
Also to a certain extent your prior experience and training I guess.
People who haven't used bullpups complain about the 'shit manual of arms' for them, but if you serve in a military that makes you use them all the time.you get good at it. Same as anything, I spend 9 years using bullpups (sa80) then when I trained on the Ar pattern Marksmans rifle it was really strange to use.
It's pretty good, some guys seem to struggle with the different reticle patterns but that's usually them judging the ranges poorly and using the wrong ones
i really actually for real like my RDB. the trigger is perfectly fine (hammer spring is a bit heavy, makes a really loud thwack+twang noise) and the adjustable gas is great. its also the cheapest
my X95 is reliable, but it's heavy and expensive compared to a generic AR. cuck state be cucked tho. Geiselle lightning bow trigger makes a big difference.
The WLVRN is the only one I would want to use, but I'm waiting for Desert Tech to come out with a WLVRN 2 in like 4 years to fix the last remaining issues.
Only the AUG is good, from your picture.
Not if you shoot left handed. The fs2000 is the best one because it's ambi.
Why is there so much plastic on the f2000? looks like shit and most of it must be useless weight
i shot one recently and while it looks pretty bulky it felt pretty good in the hands.

I own two of them
It’s quite possibly the most ergonomic rifle ever made, despite being like 35 years old now
Do you ever get jams on the ejection chute? I've heard people say its no problem at all and also a huge problem
Notraining thread. Clear one (1) building or operate in one (1) vehicle.

Yo that pic is insane. That is a huge advantage of bullplap!

Im sorry to hear that. I atleast hope you had an A2 or A3
A2, it was fine honesty. Never had to fire it in anger though I did do six months in Afghanistan.
How do people like that 6x Acog on there?

luv me AUGs

I'll always prefer bullpups over conventional rifles, even if bullpup triggers are usually mediocre.
aint no debate over the best gun ever
Its easier to make ammo perform out of a short barrel than to make good triggers apparently
Is there a list of akk commercially available bullpups?
I'm considering copping a Tavor to complete my Israeli weapons collection and make bad puns.
im going to buy a ps90, and theres nothing you can do about it
love me ps90s
