>“Yes, we shot down the ‘unique’ Kinzhal,” Oleshchuk wrote. “It happened during the night-time attack on May 4 in the skies of the Kyiv region.”
>The Kinzhal is one of the latest and most advanced Russian weapons. The Russian military says the air-launched ballistic missile has a range of up to 2,000 kilometers (about 1,250 miles) and flies at 10 times the speed of sound, making it hard to intercept.
>“They were saying that the Patriot is an outdated American weapon, and Russian weapons are the best in the world,” Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat said on Ukraine’s Channel 24 television. “Well, there is confirmation that it effectively works against even a super-hypersonic missile.” Ihnat said.
>He said successfully intercepting the Kinzhal was “a slap in the face for Russia.”

Rest of the world bros... How does the US keep winning?
US MIC is GOD OF WAR!!
Apologize thirdies!
They reward handsomely to people with real merit, while this create a considerable level of inequality it also promotes incredible technological breakthroughs and institutions which will adapt to any situation to eventually turn the scenario in their favour, what is an army of 100 million men and vast natural resources or the bloodlust of crazed fanatics ready to unleash unending cruelty to a nation with the machines and methods to overcome all of them?
Wars are ultimately won with what you can offer to others even before they start, on this regard all the enemies of USA have already failed because their offers will never be as good as those USA gives, they can only delay through wanton bloodshed and temporal pyrrhic victories the inevitable outcome, by holding to the rights of life, freedom and the pursue of happiness USA hacked the entire system of human belief.
>while this create a considerable level of inequality
you've got it backwards, that's one of the inefficiencies preventing a more ideal meritocracy - the inequality creates non-merit failure prior to the testing of merit.
areas of clear potential for improvement like that show just how absurdly far ahead the US is, and how even more absurdly far ahead it could be. almost like the only external threat that's credible now is imaginary magic aliens... hmmm
China and Russia could have both become like this, by the way - but political inequality is a lot harder to correct than economic inequality, so they were arguably always further away from a meritocracy than the US.
it's heretical to entrenched wealth to say this, but the US implementing a UBI might very well be an awful lot like "true communism" essentially by accident, simply by seeking to preserve its meritocracy and prevent the state from being usurped by private interests. one of the easy things to point to when calling something "not true communism" is a failure of meritocracy - it's a failure inherent to politically unequal governance that likes the "confiscating from the wealthy" bit of some communist thought but does away with the whole "redistributing to the population" bit. doing the former without the latter is just changing who the wealthy are, and you can get remarkably close to the intended benefits by just... doing the latter and not worrying too much about the former except in rare cases.
high purchasing power from a UBI prevents overzealous cost-cutting that destroys resiliency and product quality for fast profits from out-competing actual higher quality products (and hyperinflation fearmongering rarely mentions the actual source of most "printed" money is fractional reserve lending, and inflation as a concept assumes corporations have fair prices).
in short: only the US can achieve "true communism", and "America bad" from tankies is at least half jealousy
It is kind of embarrassing we have to make outrageous war games to justify getting even further ahead. I wish aliens would invade so we could have a worthy opponent.
As a matter of fact the West reformed themselves to adapt to the new social, economic and technological dynamics. Marx basically assumed western societies couldn't reform themselves instead needing violent class war to achieve a revolution.
The irony is that Marx was basically asking mob leaders to first conquer wealthy societies and then behave as saints.
Still, yes, we already have the key components for a worldwide post-scarcity economy with UBI and UBS, it's only human attitude what stop us from achieving such a goal, it will still take some generations for people to finally figure it out.
And the truth is, in a way, we already have given to most humans that, at least for a limited period of time, what is child rearing but UBI and UBS sponsored by family?
On that sense the experiment is mostly successful, the fact the children of rich people still want to work and do their own things indicates there is something about human nature which will never accept giving up on work, boredom is a void which demands to be filled, and imagination will always attempt to imprint itself into reality, that is after all to be human.
UBI won't change anything. People use foodstamps to buy alcohol and cigarettes. People (vast majority black single mothers) use child support to buy drugs. They then have the gall to complain about being starving and poor and demand more.
>mathematics making ~~*them*~~ look bad? zoos treating animals better than ~~*they*~~ treat citizens in ~~*their*~~ own society? just lie about the poor, goyim
i'm sure your masters are pleased with your loyalty, but it won't ever make you one of them.
UBI and UBS is forced redistribution of wealth because its financed through tax money though?
everything in society is forced
yeah, Marx and his fellow travelers in the 19th c thought communism would emerge first in the most advanced economies (the UK or US)
Tfw PrepHole is can be what 4chan was meant to be as a concept. poltards btfo'd at their own job
nonsense, PrepHole is a low IQ board falling for tropes. The only reason USA succeeded is because it came out of WW2 as the last concentration of industry in the world remaining and thus, the only place for capital to flee to. North America enjoyed a few decades of being the only land of opportunity for awhile and was huffing on its own farts of 'American Exceptionalism' for awhile. It was really purely to do with being the only place of industry and having USD hegemon. Both of these are coming to an end.
China is slowly taking over. It now leads in 37 of 44 critical techs.

Only people from third world countries migrate to the USA now. Americans tend to migrate to other developing countries.

This again, Ping Pong? Everyone knows Chinese spam shitty, plagiarized, AI-written papers and cite each other's shitty papers for propaganda.
who is China stealing from when they're ahead of the West in those 37 techs?
from the article I cited;
>In the area of Advanced radiofrequency communications, including 5G and 6G, there is a high risk of China having a monopoly in research.
who is China stealing from? they call this board PrepHoleope for good reason.
From you article:
>As per the ASPI’s Critical Technology Tracker, the US has maintained its strength in the design and development of advanced semiconductor devices, high-performance computing, advanced integrated circuit design and fabrication, quantum computing, and vaccines and medical countermeasures.

My advice is to go look up Microsoft / OpenAI papers and have a look at the names. Half of them are Chinese names educated in China. The West is finished.
>Chinsects shitting out fake papers means CCP have Mandate To Heaven!
yet here they are, leading in 37 out of 44 critical techs. I guess you spent too much time focusing on fraudulent work and ignore all the legitimate stuff going on. That's what happens when you're stupid.

There was an Anon who said it looked like some carbon fiber reinforced casing, that shatters like it looks in the pic. He also said that constructing it in layers that thick is very expensive.
>carbon fiber reinforced casing, t
No. Penetrator casings are always dense, using a low density material like CB is worse. Besides the simple fact that cracks don't propagates like that on CB, the hole and cracks is a classic example of steel brittle failure.
High velocity impacts (+1km/s) can easily shatter hard steel.
you shall hope there is no maker.
if indeed you meet him, you´ll have to answer for your behaviour.

That's like 10cm thick shield. Is that how youcope with terrible metallurgy?
it's carbon composite for heat shielding.
Isn't a shield, is the warhead casing.
The BLU-28 wall thickness is like 7.5-10cm. To have good penetration you need mass, steel.
It's probably material like shuttle thermal tiles. Those things have density 1/3 of the water.
I'm sorry,
but to be fair, these pictures they posted for proofs did not actually prove anything at all.
I had very good reason to doubt

>HBO's Chernobyl was completely serious
You mean how the entire Soviet system was based and founded on lying, willfull deception, corruption and opression?
Well we can see the fruits of all that hard work in Russia today.
Oh yes Chernobyl, the famous disaster in that happened in the famoust Soviet Socialist Republic of Estonia.
Oh so Ukraine was now magically completely sovergin and they had sole control on how they built and operated the power plant did they?
Interesting.
uh... no.
unless there was an Estonian Chernobyl i don't know about
what the fuck are you talking about, retard?
I think he's trying to imply that because Chernobyl happened in Ukraine it was Ukraine governments fault but that doesn't really make sense given Ukraine wasn't a sovereign country at the time. It would be like saying the Irish Potato Famine is proof of the failures of the Irish Government.
it would also mean the entire Soviet space program was the work of Kazakhstan
Kek I enjoy this implication.
>boratinspace.jpg
So anything good that happened in Soviet Union that isn’t in Russia is in part credited to Russia. But anything bad that happened in Soviet Union that isn’t in Russia, Russia has nothing to do with it?
Better hope Russia wins. It will be merciless on here for years and I’ll help contribute to the flood of mocking shitposts.
Literally none of the pictures match, not even the banding points on the metal. About as believable as the pickle jar story.

That's astroturf. You obviously didn't grow up playing sports. Kinda depends on having a dad, though, so...
So are we supposed to just ignore the fact that this is clearly a fake film set using fake grass?
This has to be trolling, no one is this retarded.
I guess the cheer-leading for this shootdown was... AstroTurfed
YEAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Top left is the only one that doesn't match, and this is the first time I'm seeing that photo in association with the Kinzhal downing.
Really, if there was anything fishy about the incident, its the possibility that Patriots were fired, but then the Kinzhal went down for unrelated technical reasons (because Russia).
Like if you told me that the hole on the top-right picture was from a structural failing due to a materials defect, that would seem plausible, but still be a disaster for Russia.
Why does the grass look like that? Is this a golf course?

Sorry anon, the only way you would believe this claim would be a video with a gopro on the patriot missile. And even with that video, you probably would say that its CGI or propaganda.
I await an official statement from president V. V. Putin.

ohnononononononono
china shills, are you ok?
If Patriot can intercept hypersonics, it makes you wonder what AEGIS can do with all those fancy SM-2s, SM-3s and SM-6s.
Crazy
The AEGIS, THAAD, and PATRIOT can all intercept hypersonic maneuvering warheads. These are just some of the Target Test Missiles they use to test AEGIS. Most of these tests are records, and post-op reports are release. So, you can see it for yourself. Most people just choose not to look for that information. The only people surprised that PATRIOT could intercept the Kinzhal are people that haven't looked into the tests PATRIOT has done since '95. It's not a secret, and never was. The US literally gives you the info on a silver platter, and people still stay ignorant.
I'll post some of the TTMs. Aries, first.
Where do you find this stuff? What resources do you use?
See:
. Then, just google the name of the test(FTM-whatever number) and add "file type: PDF" to narrow it down to just PDFs. You can check https://discover.dtic.mil/ for the reports, though you MAY need the ADA number to find exactly what you're looking for. Their search function is okay.

Amazing, isn't it? Just like "muh hypersonics"; the third world has been bragging about their "hypersonic missiles" for years despite the fact that by the metrics they choose to use that class of weapons includes the fucking V2.
It's bananas to think that one fully loaded AEGIS DDG in the Black Sea could end this war in a week.

Girkin straight up said on his podcast that Putin needs to keep his mouth shut, as even at the time this was seen as a very bad answer.
That response is even more hilarious in light of this shoot-down. Absolute clown show
VVS was worse before 2015 (obsolete). Turned to be useless tho.

Shenenigans?
probably had to wait until daddy US said they could disclose they used the patriot
New information was brought to the man's attention that allowed him to confirm the story? The dude doesn't know everything that happens everywhere the instant it occurs.
First time it was leaked by mass media, then speaker of airforce tried to deny. Next day the commander of airforce spoke, confirming they did. Probably for obsec reasons, like moving Patriot to other position.
Not telling the media about the comings and goings of your war is a little known trick called opsec. The US military has a whole ass department for determining what the media can know. Until shit gets rubberstamped you keep your mouth shut.

Yeah absolutely nuts, and not just the acceleration but that it could have guidance systems and sensitive electronics and so on that'd all still work under that.
>it could have guidance systems and sensitive electronics and so on that'd all still work under that.
back in WWII we fired proximity shells out of 5" naval guns at 20000g one axis spinning at 20K RPM. 100g largely in one axis is easily survivable for solid state electronics packaged properly.
UpStage, and HEDI are even better. HEDI was a Sprinit missile they added a KKV to so it was hit-to-kill and didn't need the nuke warhead. UpStage was a externally burning highly maneuverable glid body strapped to a HiBEX.
HiBEX was 300g.
ty4 vid anon. I knew it was going to be fast, but seeing it in motion is something else
What's crazy to me is that to my knowledge we don't know what kind of patriot missile was used. I don't think the U.S. would hand over MSE missiles since they're so new, especially after the Abrams being too advanced to send without the FMS armor drama. Which means this was more than likely done with just a regular PAC-3. Imagine how much more capable the MSE version is.
if
is to be believed then it would be PAC-3 as PAC-2 is a fragmentation warhead, not hit to kill.
>I don't think the U.S. would hand over MSE missiles since they're so new, especially after the Abrams being too advanced to send without the FMS armor drama. Which means this was more than likely done with just a regular PAC-3
Yes likely PAC-3 but don't confuse different reasoning for different weapon systems. It's not a clean matter of "advance" and "new" but more specific to weapon system considerations. DU armor is specially restricted for example, DU in general, US flat out no longer is making as much due to shrinking nuclear chain and even if armor wasn't one of the most sensitive areas it's still something that'd get treated carefully. Tanks are also inherently riskier in terms of leakage, their whole job is to go directly into the most dangerous spearhead roles, they're more liable to get captured (even if wrecks). When the US fights it tends to have such air dominance and standoff that it can guarantee destroying any wrecks if nothing else, not so much here.
Whereas while yeah they probably haven't sent MSE I think it'd be more down to just supply issues and such and maybe seeing them as unneeded here. Once they're fired they're going boom and they're well off the front lines.
wait a minute
is this unequivocal proof that the record of PATRIOT with the Israelis is just the Israelis being retarded with it? or are the Ukies just exceptionally good at maximizing the value of whatever they're given? i wouldn't doubt that the Pentagon is eager to tap Ukrainian drone warfare experience for the foreseeable future, for example (especially since drone warfare fits right into a lot of the US military's primary weaknesses in asymmetric/guerilla/civilians-as-mass-hostages-and-camouflage warfare, but that's a whole other discussion)
>is this unequivocal proof that the record of PATRIOT with the Israelis is just the Israelis being retarded with it?
Been known for decades. Israeli operators would constantly keep it in manual mode. The US advisors would make them switch it back to auto, but when they would leave at night, the garden gnomes would turn it back to manual mode. They wanted their own BMDS, and weren't too happy the US made them take PATRIOT instead of funding one for them. So, they wanted to make it look ineffective to force the US to make them their own system.
https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/gulf/weapons/raytheontext.html
this has the same energy as a homeless man begging for money for food and then stomping on the burger you bought for him because it wasn't money
They call it chutzpah.
Could be PAC-3, PAC-3 CRI, or a PAC-2 GEM-T. The launcher they got from the scandis were PAC-2 canisters, though, they could be switched out for PAC-3 when OpSec wasn't necessary

SORRY!
"Master of War" is not a title easily won, but here we are, however the setbacks and shortcomings these burgers always manage to get away with what they want:
Once again.
The Kinzhal is an air-launched ballistic missile. The Patriot PAC-2/3 are mainly an ABM system, therefore expected to be effective against the Kinzhal. The outcome is very much expected. Ballistic missiles have been hypersonic since the 70s, the tech for intercepting them in the terminal phase is quite mature.
Why does this cause so much butthurt for a certain demographic?
I'M SORRY
I'm sorry Patriot.
I never had any doubt.
Does anyone know if it was a PAC-2 or PAC-3? I've heard different things. The information probably isn't available but I thought I'd ask either way.

Patriots were and still are shit.
https://foreignpolicy.com/2018/03/28/patriot-missiles-are-made-in-america-and-fail-everywhere/
Dude, check the dates
The vatmorons have made up their mind and don't care about things like the linear flow of time.
>Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat said in a statement: "I have already refuted a thousand times, you should have seen it yesterday. There was a possibility of using ballistic missiles, but no ballistic missiles were recorded."
PrepHole has become the largest collection of obnoxious, gullible retards on this site since QAnon. WTF happened?
Then later, as more information comes out, they revised their statements.
>“Congratulations to the Ukrainian people on a historic event!” the head of Ukraine’s air command, Mykola Oleshchuk, posted on Telegram, along with a lightning bolt emoji. “Yes, we brought down the ‘unparalleled’ Kinzhal!”
Now stop seething.
Maybe because you vatmorons like armatatard kept spamming your shitty missile on this board before the war broke out, and annoyed the rest of us about it to the point we will take glee is seeing it fail. Don't believe me? Take a look at PrepHole when searching for the hypersanic missile that got shot down before the start of the war last year.
https://desuarchive.org/k/search/text/Kinzhal/end/2022-02-22/
>Iowa class Battleship shell is 300MJ
Does he only mean kinetic energy kek
So let me get this straight. The reason why you keep pedaling fantastical nonsense about a downed hypersonic missile, a story based on no evidence, has no follow up, makes no sense whatsoever and has been refuted by the Ukrainian air defense itself, so the reason why you keep shilling it up is some PrepHole poster that ANNOYED you in some thread a year ago. Am I getting this right?
You're the one saying the Ukrainan claim it downed the missile os only due to Redditors though
You're also saying any available evidence doesn't matter for reasons (due to Redditors too?)
>a story based on no evidence
there are multiple images of a broken missile
>has no follow up
confirmed by both the ukrainians and the US several times despite the initial caution/denial at first (probably because the US wanted to keep hidden this capability)
>makes no sense whatsoever
Only if you are so delusional to believe that the US hasn't been working to counter hypersonic missiles since the fucking 1970s and hasn't lots of classified weapons. Remember the stealth helo used in the OBL raid? Yeah. You are retarded if you show your hand before it's needed.
The US being innefective in peacekeeping ops against savages has made you thirdies forget that they're still the number one technological power in this planet.
I'm curious about all the times the US military confirmed something that turned out to be a lie (this war, not iraq or any other war)
I don't recall anything besides maybe half-truths about chinese assistance to Russia to put pressure on them. And that was civilian officials, not the US military proper. They've been very cautious since the start.
The closest thing I can maybe think of is when they said an Il-76 was shot down over Kiev during the start of the invasion. I don't remember there being any wreckage or anything being discovered. But then again, rather than that being a flat out lie, it could have been just some dumbass running his mouth without actually knowing everything, like whoever it was that said that that missile that landed in Poland was Russian.
>when they said an Il-76 was shot down over Kiev during the start of the invasion
Did the US military said that? IIRC that was an ukrainian rumour and later dismissed by themselves.
AP just says it was two American officials.
https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukraine-business-europe-united-nations-kyiv-6ccba0905f1871992b93712d3585f548
That sounds like a "sources say" thing, with even those unnamed US officials just parroting what the ukrainians were (erroneusly) telling them.
In the end it was just part of the early fog of war and they said the opposite later.
Funny how Zelensky doubled down in not being an ukrainian missile even after the US said so. That alone makes me think he was saying the truth (or at least what his military told him)
>Funny how Zelensky doubled down in not being an ukrainian missile even after the US said so. That alone makes me think he was saying the truth (or at least what his military told him)
I think it's more like they saw the opportunity to drag NATO into a hot war, and they ran with it as far as they could
I don't think so, because he'd know the score.
If anything, he was told by the Ukrainian military it wasn't the S-300 that killed the farmers. So when the US said "yes it was" it would have been seen as a cuck move to backpedal and go "lol you're right", he made the decision to stand by his forces.
He could have easily thrown the UAF under the bus for political good boy points but he risked his external reputation for morale and internal cohesion.
I believe it was just because an Ukrainan missile killing civilians in a neutral state would look really bad
People thinking it was an attempt to lure nato into a hot war are retarded though

>"we cannot confirm"
>a day passes
>"we can confirm"
Wow, a totally unreasonable series of events. Where a person doesn't have omniscience and has to investigate whether something happened or not.
nafo trannies btfo
Thread starts, I cannot confirm you are a gay.
Now, I can confirm you are a gay.
the grass would have burned in those cracks, totally fake
I can now confirm you are a retarded gay.
Never happened.
SORRY!
Impressive
You would think they would move on from reddit as the boogeyman after three months
SORRY
I'M!
SORRY!
PATRIOT!
All of americas weapons systems, especially our missiles receive regular updates. Software hardware firmware, etc, its really easy to shoot down a missile even if the interceptor is slower if you can predict its path, its easy to put some bullets or another missile in its path.
>t warhead is fake you liying hohol!
The damaged warhead (brittle failure of steel) shown by ukranians (pic) is in fact a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal warhead.
Evidence: a Kh-47M2 crashed (Stavropol, Russia) on last September.
https://twitter.com/UKikaski/status/1570373528834252800
And no, the warhead isn't exposed, so the external shape of the Kinzhal tells nothing about the warhead shape (next post pic).
I'm not gonna say that the drawing is accurate or that shows the same payload as the kinzhal of Ukraine/Stavropol.
What's making me laugh more if if the US actually has this tech and its reliable, they could have first strike'd Russia safely all this time and they chose not to.
We have photo evidence, cope moar
Russian soldiers are notoriously gay, so I can only assume your words are an attempt at recruitment.
>Russian soldiers are notoriously-ACK
I have never seen a us solider get blown up while sucking another man's dick.
The same cannot be said of the Russian forces.
>damage control
im sorry that you guys were lied to(again)
>a Russian calling another man "cute"
Unsurprising really.
I KNEEL PATRIOT-SAMA
The chinks also got the blueprint for modern escalators and look how that turned out...
And then, all of a sudden, khinzal wasn't a real hypersonic.
i like those hair drills
they remind me of terminal phase intercept missiles
from what i understand, the "demanding revolution" bit is Bolshevik - Marx himself was just laying out what he expected to happen, especially in the era before the Haber-Bosch process where it seemed clear that they'd be running out of fertilizer and mass starvation would cause revolts by itself, and likely revolts against the capitalist mismanagement of farmland by simply extracting maximally and not taking the meager margin hit from giving the land a chance to recover arability - it's astonishing how well he predicted things like the Dust Bowl, but his prediction of a unified response from the destitute was arguably the least sound. in the context of today, he'd probably consider post-scarcity easily achievable by just removing barriers to it that have been created by the profit motive (i.e. failure to end starvation/homelessness because a desperate population improves the ability to cost cut on labor)
one of the things a devout free-market worshipper is never going to tell you (and likely not going to be aware of themselves) is Marx was quite complimentary of both small family businesses and the innovation that the profit motive could encourage in the right circumstances - he was going after the people who would become the Robber Barons of the early 20th century, not homesteaders. there's astonishingly little "America bad" in any of Marx's works, and what little there is is mostly "slavery bad" because he was contemporary with the American Civil War: https://www.jstor.org/stable/3483838
honestly, if i were to blame one thing for the widespread ignorance of what Marx actually wrote, it's the fact he died in 1883, decades before the Bolsheviks came to power - he would have probably loathed them
The problem is that Marx never managed a satisfactory reconciliation between artisans/small businesses/independent farmers and his philosophy because it stemmed entirely from the context of urban industry.
for sure, and that's a big part of why his prediction of a unified response was, IMO, unsound. if i were to leverage another criticism to his theories it would be an underestimation of the capacity of a democratic political process to alter itself (i.e. the ability of Western-style governments to adapt mentioned earlier), but in fairness during the era he lived in it wouldn't have been clear that the US was about to turn itself into arguably the most successful democratic experiment since the Roman Republic not long after it tried to cut itself in half and turned its own breadbasket into literal dust.
modern efforts by private interests to pervert that democratic process were always a threat, but I think Marx didn't accurately predict the ways in which their influence over actual governance would be pushed to the fringes and made more indirect (such as by manipulating information and campaigns indirectly - even the stuff the CIA and US State Department earned their hated reputations from the left with tended to be expressly undemocratic decisions made by individuals in power) and not allowed the direct control that dominated historical examples he was drawing from. the shift rightward towards corporatism under modern neoliberalism is quite new and relatively untested, historically, and the brief record it does have is one of repeated economic failures amid subtle implications to dogged insistence that neoliberalism is the "pinnacle of societal evolution that requires no structural change and merely needs small adjustment reforms to be perfected" - largely off the fact they got high on their own supply during the 1990s and had immense political success during that time period that has slowly been waning, much to the chagrin of those who would prefer that history had ended with them in charge.
ironically in that sense the modern corporate executive demographic is not that dissimilar from the Stalinists in their behavior towards individual owners/artisans
I never thought I'd see a rational discussion of Marxism on PrepHole of all places
Probably glowies trying to deradicalize or something.
>(i.e. failure to end starvation/homelessness because a desperate population improves the ability to cost cut on labor)
I never once saw a homeless man desperate enough to get a job.
There are some homeless men 'with' a job.
If they post up in good locations they can make $40/hr in non taxed cash along with coupons for free meals, and meals. Why would they get a job when they make more than most of the people giving them money, and all their meals are free buy just standing around with a sign high as a kite? Seems like paradise for a druggy, no?
>keep people homeless to suppress wages
>they make 40 bucks/hour
According to analysis by the central bank of Australia, UBI is economically infeasible (at least for Australia, I suppose) at this point in time. Simply being that $1000/month for a whole country adds up quick and for the time being we still need people to work. It would bankrupt the country to offer UBI to everyone, and it would only be an extremely meager sum anyway. Autonomous AI in the coming years will make UBI possible, but I think UBI is actually not the ideal solution; I would say that instead, we should have UBD, Universal Basic Dividend, where the pool of money is split up among everyone instead. The reason being that AI could result in enormous economic windfalls and in the long term we should prepare to let everyone live like kings.
Though more practically, we would probably see UBI implemented in the form of ever-growing and ever-more-permissive jobseekers' allowances as AI automation displaces people from work, which, if it ever actually happens, would be the economic boom required to make that work.
Any argument besides "when holhols say what I agree with they are telling the truth, when they do not they are lying"?
Any argument besides "when you agree with me you're being genuine, when you disagree with me you're being disingenuous" ?
The Kinzhal was flying at 800 km/h because the officer responsible for firing it stole its fuel and sold it to buy a PS5
SORRY
>The Kinzhal is one of the latest and most advanced Russian weapons.
They have never used zircon yet
Probably because it doesn’t exist.
>Keep claiming that the war is for the very future of the Russian state
>Don't use your best stuff
It never actually existed
>PrepHole retards believe their own propaganda
Has this board been mostly right the entire war?
Sure there are some "two weeks to Moscow" retards but mostly it has been right
why would ukranians who constantly cry for more AAs say that they are shooting down kinzhals with outdated weapons?
They've become Israel. Being genocided and totally winning at the same time. It's so tiresome.
Stupid vatmoron, local superiority is not regional superiority. You shills can't unironically be that credulous no matter how brown you are.
>another wunderwaffe down the drain
Kinzhal getting shot down by a Patriot really destroyed the psyches of turdies here
They're somehow STILL devastated by the ghost of Kyiv. I can't even
So can Patriot shoot down Ballistic missiles too?
Not necessarily ICBMs with decoys and shit.
The U.S. does have a silo-launched system for intercepting ICBMs, though
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ground-Based_Midcourse_Defense
I doubt it. Patriot hasn't been much good at shooting down regular Iranian kamikaze drones, I cant imagine it'd perform better at hypersonics. Unless I see actual evidence or it happening again, I count this as propaganda. Ukraine is trying to get more Patriot systems.
see
The Saudis have this system too. The whole story is bullshit. The most likely reasoning is that Ukraine is lying and they did not actually shoot down a hypersonic missile. The patriot system has had a poor reputation for years. What we do know is the Ukrainians consistently lie. Ghost of Kyev, the pensioner shooting down a jet, the last stand on snake island... etc. The Ukrainians have as much credibility as the Russians (zero credibility)
>The Saudis have this system too.
And it's shot down 100+ Iranian Tactical Ballistic Missiles since 2015, THAAD has, too.

Your cope is hilarious.
>The patriot system has had a poor reputation for years.
Can I see the record? Or is all you can post is the same one incident over, and over again?
Yes it can shoot down the scud redesigns that Iranians gave to Houthis, as it was designed to do. Hypersonics though? The decent stuff Iran has slipped right past the Patriot systems
pic rel
why would Iran shoot the giant onions?
Those are concrete models made by iran. This picture simply doesn’t count
those are Saudi refineries, shot by Iranian tech used by Iraqi militias. Patriots failed to hit them. come on PrepHolereddit you can do better than this
No those are concrete models
>Yes it can shoot down the scud redesigns that Iranians gave to Houthis, as it was designed to do.
It went from it not being effective to, "w-well it's not the NEW missiles". That's cope.
>Hypersonics though?
Yes. Here is a PAC-2 intercepting a HERA Target Test Missile:
Since they told us what missile they tested the PAC-2 against, we can look to see if we can find specs on it. The HERA missile is Mach 8 capable, so, we can safely say that PAC-2 is effective against Mach 8 BMs. It's not hard to look this up yourself, and it isn't a secret.
https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/pdfs/ADA288602.pdf
>well yes, i am an obvious shill or deluded useful idiot
>let me just post the attack on the oil refinery again, where the Patriot system was never meant to shoot down low flying drones or cruise missiles, but i won't tell you that
>i also wont tell how there was a SHORAD system on site which was supposed to deal with those, but that was the thing that actually failed
>i cant tell you this, because then my whole premise collapse
Every god damn time, do you think we are all idiots here? Take your shill lies, kindly fuck off and never come back.
Before someone asks for a source:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abqaiq%E2%80%93Khurais_attack
>It is reported that Saudi Arabia has at least one MIM-104 Patriot missile defense system in place at Abqaiq.[19] The missile defense system used was designed to mitigate threats from "high flying targets."[19]
>Unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles fly at an altitude too low to be detected by conventional radar systems.[19] A swarm of drones and cruise missiles coming from multiple directions can confuse and jam radar, as well as overwhelm air defenses.[25] In addition to the Patriot system, at least four shorter-range defense systems were present, yet also failed to detect and mitigate the drone attack.[19]
Also, patriot is a phased array radar with a 90 degree search angle. It can only point in one direction. At the time of the attack, it was pointed south towards Yemen, but the drones came from the north, launched from either Iran or Iraq.
>they did not actually shoot down a hypersonic missile
the most likely cause of this would be Russia lying about hypersonic capability, not Ukraine lying about shooting something down
nah that'd be discouraging any leftist ideas - fascists are useful, if unstable, tools of the establishment. the "radicalized" to glowies are the people who want unions to have the right to bear arms and aren't opposed to threatening Pinkertons with them, not the demoralized buffoons you can manipulate into vague culture-war bullshit mass shootings over discord to attempt to justify further violating the 2nd amendment
This story is as real as when Grandpa shot down a Russian jet with his rifle.
/k/reddit falls for all the propaganda. every single time.
>Boomer shoots shotgun into the air upon seeing Russian Su-34
>jet crashes because it got shot down by missile or it's Russian and they tend to do that
>local military awards him a medal as a token of appreciation for reacting to the enemy
>DailyMail and pretty much nobody else reports the boomer shot down the jet with a hunting shotgun
>"HURR DURR PROPAGANDA"
>Ghost of Patriot

You guys should at least check your information.
Old news
God bless Murica.
Wow anogher the ghost or tarkov fighter pilot inspirational story!!! Neat!
SORRY for doubting you daddy PATRIOT
Its still hilarious how brown street shitters took Ukraine at face value and didn't realize it was Ukraine officers being retarded and breaking Opsec.
I'm sorry, but after Zelenskyy tried to claim it was Russian missile that killed poles last year, I don't believe anything the regime says without actual irrefutable proof
that got to be the most lowest hanging fruit approach i've seen in a while
>the regime
fuck off
Putin regime, Biden regime, Zelenskyy regime, it's all the same shit, and unless you accept that you will never able to have an objective view of the situation
Cool, cold war both sideism
Very much the opposite, Ivan.
Its only once you let go of the pathetic cynicism that tells you, "Everything will always be bad forever" that you can actually start to improve things.
As has been the case for centuries, Russia is just really fucking backwards.
And I don't mean in some "social justice-y" way, but rather basic shit like "Why free speech isn't a luxury, but an actual benefit to your country" or "How absolute power corrupts absolutely".
>Zelenskyy tried to claim it was Russian missile that killed poles last year
Source.
You shouldn't believe anything that anyone says at this point.
There's no such thing as an honest broker of information anymore.
Look up Col Macgregor (retired) on Youtube
Kiev will fall in 19 days McGregor
He is a kook and so are his fanboys
Does being pro dussia equal objectivity?
yes, but you have to invert whatever their conclusions are first.
I still believe it's a russian missile and the US forced him to change his words
Wait until you people figure out that the reports of US hypersonic missile test failures are nothing but a smokescreen.
SORRY
Very impressive.
