Just as a heads up, the light mount/sling combo from GG&G that just sits between the magazine and cap (or extension) gives you the same capability as the Zhukov handguard for a tiny fraction of the price. I have both, and I just use the GG&G mount. That's it on my shotgun
That's worth noting then because I was looking at mostly GG&G and Aridus stuff to upgrade my newly acquired 1301. The Zhukov kind of put me off because I have one on a C39 and it's kinda shit looking and too flimsy for my tastes on a shotgun. I was looking at a Magpul SGA with adapter and a cheek riser, aluminum tube cap replacement, I believe there was an aluminum barrel clamp too from GG&G, Burris fastfire, sling, velcro esstac shell cards and flashlight. Briley's handguard has been mentioned a fair bit but it's pricy compared to other options.
>C39
Nice. Wish I could get an affordable AK >I believe there was an aluminum barrel clamp too from GG&G
Yep, though if you get the same mount I've got (https://www.gggaz.com/beretta-1301-shotgun-looped-sling-and-light-mount.html), there's not need for a barrel clamp at all. You can mount a light and hook a sling to just that one piece. At that point a barrel clamp is just unnecessary weight that forces you to use a screwdriver when you want to strip the gun, whereas it's a toolless disassembly otherwise. >Briley's handguard has been mentioned a fair bit but it's pricy
Pricey and heavy. That's a shitload of aluminum
Going with the combo loop then, I like the Beretta handguard better than the other options.

It's the easiest, most compact, and cheapest option. Here's a couple more shots of how it fits together on my build, just to give you an idea and to show it off

Yeah couldn’t justify a Benelli M4 I’d immediately have to buy a extension tube for (if I couldn’t find a LE model being sold to civilians) and that the collapsible stock isn’t actually that great to shoot. I don’t recommend the Magpul handguard but the SGA stock is good if you want to adjust length of pull and or want sling QD mount points.
Mesa now makes an aluminum MLok handguard for the 1301, for way less than the Magpul handguard

There is no rule that all questions about shotguns need to be in shotgun general or all handgun questions need to be in handgun general. It’s actually an anomaly for there to be general threads on /k/, there wasn’t used to be. It used to be a quarter of the board was inane 9mm vs .45 threads like the good old days

this tbh. the fact that there are a thousand shitty threads instead of one active qtddtot is probably one of the many reason's /k/ is boring and low quality as it is these days.

Is there a way to put the beneli m4 stock or replicas on a 1301? I still want an Benelli M4 one day, but I really love the 1301 for my first semi. I see there's a stock adaptor that lets you put on AR stocks, and other shit, but the M4 stock seems to be one of the best collapsible ones. The normal AR collapsible ones look weird on a shotgun.
The 1301 has nothing going on in the stock so it’s not impossible. It’s more of the inability for anyone to really get M1014 collapsible stocks, they go for several hundred dollars each if I remember.
>Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol Review: Move Over Remington 870? >Beretta's A300 Ultima Patrol looks to fill the void left by the Remington 870 at a mid-range price.
Holy shit pewpewtactical is retarded
My Mossberg 500 didn't make it through a 600 shell course. Shell stop bars bend themselves and the magazine becomes useless, either not feeding shells or the mag just spits all your shells out. It's not a robust design as so many poorfags copefully claim, those bars need to be exactly on the millimeter to function properly and they're too easy to bend off perfection.
I'd get something with a pistol grip, the grandpa grip tweaked my wrist shooting it for a few hours. I agree pistol grip shotguns don't look as cool but there's no doubt with any other longgun that a pistol grip is more comfortable and maneuverable, it doesn't change with shotguns. A bullpup is also easier to clear indoors with. The M&P12 is pretty much the perfect shotgun, a major improvement over the Kel Tec cheapo one, definitely designed with SWAT teams in mind with improvements they specifically asked for. But if you don't have the money the Kel Tecs seem to work. It will actually put you at a tactical advantage even as a notraining noob to have something shorter, if you just want what others say is coolest and most expensive then sure whatever. You won't ever use this shit anyway.
If you want to measure a guns reliability Google common issues with that gun. For example compare the following search term results:
>Mossberg 500 won't feed shells >Mossberg 500 shells stuck in magazine >KSG won't feed shells >KSG shells stuck in magazine
Based on the results Mossbergs and Kel Tecs are around the same level of reliability in this area, really fucking shitty. You can apply the same search to Remington 870s and see that it's also a piece of shit with hundreds of people experiencing the same issue AND posting about it, the majority who experienced this likely didn't post about it but we can see that it's a common issue. Now perform the same search for M&P12, which is what I said to get retard. Has no such issues commonly posted online. If you're poor you have to get a poorfag shotgun with shitty reliability like a 500, 870, or KSG but they're all around the same level of shittiness.
I'm just fucking with you anon, anyone can make a lemon. >Based on the results Mossbergs and Kel Tecs are around the same level of reliability in this area, really fucking shitty
You have to take into account the volume of those guns on the market, though. Yeah, there's going to be a lot of people reporting issues with Mossy 500s and Remy 870s, but keep in mind that there are an order of magnitude more copies of those guns in the wild than there are of their competitors.
>the only purpose of a shotgun in combat is as a breaching tool.
Notraining. How could putting 8-9 shots of .32 ACP onto a threat all at the same exact moment POSSIBLY be effective?! If you learn to use this took properly it's the absolute most destructive thing to have at close range. They're not low capacity, they just shoot multiple rounds at once. A 5+1 12 gauge shotgun holds 48-54 rounds, it just shoots them 8-9 rounds at a time.
That is one of the guns ever, yes
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
My brain is telling me that’s a 1301
It is I posted the wrong pic
It is, it's pretty much exactly what I'm going to do to mine because that's what everyone else recommends.

You sound pretty retarded you should take your meds.
Yes, threads about guns are slide threads on /k/

yeah, and making completely banal-yet-on-topic threads is a perfect way to slide unwanted topics.

Interestingly, it's a little of both. This thread was started by AI, and I'm presently sliding my penis into your mom while browsing.

KSG 25 + guard protection, with small shells and dragon's breath.
Langdon 1301 boi
Mossberg or Benelli. Why look anywhere else?
Beretta
I include it in Benelli. I know technically Benelli is included in Beretta, but.

Didn’t the 500 fail military testing and then the 590 was created beefing up the internals and replacing polymer parts with metal?
You're thinking of the 590A1, but essentially yes.
