I cover myself in clay and soil, roll around in forest detritus, and strip down to my skivys. I have a grocery bag full of loose shotgun shells tied around my waist , and a pawnshop maverick 88.

I'm active and if I use my countries camo pattern (which is perfectly suited to our vegetation) for hunting and similar, I make sure the flags are removed.

This is why I wear flooofy hoodies in earthy tones. Bonus: if a crazy guy in the street tries to stab me maybe he’ll hit the floof instead of flesh

not really, I still prefer just using dark green hunting clothing even though some of the boomers in my hunting group use old milsurp

Yep. Think it looks dorky as hell. But I'm only going to say so in a baity thread specifically asking the question on an anonymous basket weaving forum. I wouldn't bother anyone about their fashion choices irl. Maybe my friends, I have one who wears turtlenecks a lot and I gently rib him over those. He still wears them though because he does what the fuck he likes and that is right. Still looks like a spiv though.

You can hate it as much as you want but civilians were wearing camo patterns way before it became the standard in the U.S. military.

It only makes sense to wear camo if you are hunting animals or hunting people IMO

If it's people, plainclothes is best for insurgents, and the counter-insurgents would wear conventional gear and uniforms with standard issue weapons. One is impossible to distinguish from non-combatant civilians, the other is clearly obvious. This is like introductory guerilla warfare, basic stuff.

animals have a really hard time seeing bright orange, that’s why hunters look like picrel

They dress like that because it's required for "safety". It has nothing to do with animals seeing orange.

are you aware that a simple green solid colour uniform counts as camo? The average retard thinks that camo is just patterns

I primarily wear camo when hunting to signal to anyone that sees me that I am a hunter at first glance so people don't bug me if I am open carrying in town.

Multicam is used by SOF in the US but the US army uses OCP which is different so technically it's not an active camo
Not that it would matter, I paid for the development of military camouflage and I should and will use it if it's effective.

Multicam and OCP are basically the same, are barely distinguishable at close range, and completely indistinguishable in the field. The point of not wearing it is to be distinguishable from government forces. During the DWOT

Whole uniform with patches? A bit cringe. But who cares what i think, they clearly don't.
One or two articles of camoflage clothing? Meh, if you get bothered by this you don't have enough real problems in your life.

Also some types of uniform clothing are just really comfortable, cheap and practical to wear.

I've scared the shit out of countless dog walkers and joggers just wearing dark brown or green plaid shirts. Picrel is basically as good as anything for woods camouflage short of an actual ghillie suit.
