Any green forest parks in the US where you can relax by a lake, potentially swim in it, with some streams or snowmelt that you can walk near, all while having a dog by your side? Something like pic related, sadly this park is very anti-dog it seems.

Twin lakes looks quite a bit like pic related

Also they allow dispersed camping so I'm assuming they'd allow dogs

Shut it. Let them stay in the containment zones.

why cant you people find these things yourselves? you can just look at maps for areas that match the biome/elevation you are looking for with a lake and find the dog rules of the land management agency that runs the area. especially in a place like glacier surrounded by national forest of literally the same mountains.
also all national parks have no dogs allowed on trails.

yeah you can find lakes like that if you take any exit on i90 near the pass
every exit has a trailhead that leads to multiple of them, the ones that take more than a day to get to will be empty.
