I don't want either of them because the entire idea is shit and I'm mad that Smith has relegated themselves to either making guns they were making 70 years ago or aping everything Glock, Taurus and KelTec do.
Are you that fricking ass hole who keeps trying to get me to rent one of those every time i bring pic related up to the range?
Spoiler: It's the ksg12. I just put the carry handle on it cause it's sexy. And yes that's a butt pad. I'm a b***h but not as much as the b***hes who always bring up the dps12, m&p12 or any other ugly as frick weird shotgun and take it personally like they had stock in whoever manufactures them whenever I don't wanna fricking shoot them.
I dont have any stock on the DP12 bandwagon. All I know is that by virtue of being heavier it recoils less (two barrels and all that), and because feeding is simpler it jams less.
Now do whatever the frick you want with your money. If I had to pick, id choose a KS7 and thats it.
Ksg has jamming issues
Ks7 is mechanically superior. Ks7 is also aesthetically superior.
>>hot brass falling on your naked forearms
I'm pretty sure you can buy a third party deflector that solves that problem, although now that I think about it that deflector might be for the ksg, I'm not sure if the ks7 ejects the same and would accept or benefit from the deflector
It's a pump action Kel-Tec bullpup 12ga. It's very light and compact. It's reliable but being so light, it's recoil is noticeable. Like any other bullpup it has an elaborate linkage trigger group that sucks.
Kel-Tec makes some interesting stuff but doesn't appeal to everyone. They did manage to make a fairly reliable .22Mag pistol so there's that. They go for light weight and compact. I think their target market is private security gun monkeys who don't want to carry heavy shit all day but want more than a pocket pistol.
Shotgun patterns stay very tight for a few inches after the barrel, it's not a problem if the bore of the suppressor is just a little larger than 12 gauge. Those suppressors are specifically designed for shotguns.
There's rods that run the length of the suppressor that are wide enough to allow gas to expand through but close enough that they keep the pellets together as they travel out of the housing. It's pretty ingenious, actually.
Apparently a shotgun suppressor has a ring of rods around the baffles keep the shotgun wad from separating? So the shot doesn't spread out before leaving the suppressor. Other than that, it's got the same baffle structure as an ordinary suppressor
So I guess using chokes wouldn't work with this system?

>The recoil from what I heard is painful from these.
isn't it a part of the fun? keltec is a range toy company, and this is their "way too light shotgun" kind of toy
Fired my friends KSG at the range. Only shotgun I’ve ever fired that jammed on me so I don’t trust the reliability. Which sucks because I liked everything else about the gun. The recoil was also pretty intense but what do you expect with a compact 12ga.

Sup OP, I own a KS7, shoot mine in the local 3gun matches. Recoil is snappy, but it's really not significantly worse than any other 12ga out there. Reliability has been completely fine, and I've actually jammed my Benelli Nova more than I have this in matches.
An average man can control a Magnum round in a standard shotgun fine enough. The comparison here is accurate. If you are a pussy, get a 870 and load birdshot.
>hot brass falling on your naked forearms
>annoying reloading ports
>jumpy recoil because polymer
>feeding issues in a few cases of the KSG
Its not awful because its a nice bullpup shotty. KS7 is too cheap not to try. And if you want the good stuff, get the DP12.
>DP12
>Good
Need that laugh anon
Would you rather have a KSG?
Yeah
Thats surprising. Can you explain why?
blops2

That deflector is called a long-sleeved shirt.
How is that going to help me when it's 3:24am and I'm running down the hall naked and armed yelling obscenities at an invader?
never take off the shirt
>hot brass falling on your naked forearms
Shotgun shells are mostly plastic. The brass doesn’t get that hot
>Confirmed for never fired one
>Brings up dp12
Confirmed shit taste too
Is that a FAMAS ?

Holy newbie
This isn't /misc/ or plebbit, dipshit. Grow up.
>gets outted for being a newbie
>immediately tries to deflect from being caught
have a nice day newBlack person
Yeah
Wish they'd fix the KS7, looks like it'd be an awesome suppressor host
Ahhhh I'm gonnaaa sooopresssssss
Seriously though why bother suppressing a fricking shotgun? Supressor gays are cancer sometimes
I will suppress every gun I own and you cannot stop me.
how does this not destroy the suppressor?
internail rail system to keep the wad in place + buckshot doesn't begin to really expand until several yards past the muzzle

Anon, it ATTACHES via chokes.
I'm looking for one with the Remington choke adapter so I can go hunting this autumn with it
Just get a normal shotgun. If you're looking for a shorter overall shotgun, a shockwave or tac14 would be better than this in almost every way.
Brother has a KSG.It will only run reliably on high brass shells. Won't eject short shells. Recoil is fricking brutal.
Brutal like what?
Not him, but Ive heard "Magnum-like recoil on standard buckshot". Not pretty.
I went looking for videos of people shooting the KSG with 3" magnum and this one made me laughed
https://youtube.com/shorts/cD_X8dSh3kI?feature=share
Yup, looks like it.
They fall apart if you shoot them enough
Just get a maverick 88

KSG owner here. I enjoy it, but some kind of handstop would be a necessary thing. Recoil is alright, if its too much for you you're a b***h tbh.
Ty senpai.

Painful recoil and jamming? Have you tried not being a pussy and holding it properly while not short racking it?

Sits next to my bed as the bearfricker express.
>Jammed
Wat, how the frick did you manage that?
KS7 slaps but are you a b***h?

It's fine. I run cheap shit 00 buck 2 3/4 through my ksg. Just don't be a b***h.
