Not only can India not go 2 months without crashing aircraft, they can't even go 2 weeks. On 8 May 2023 an Indian-operated Russian-made MiG-21 supersonic fighter jet crashed killing 3 civilians and injuring 3 civilians and the pilot.
Just a few days ago on 4 May 2023 an HAL Dhruv utility helicopter crashed killing 1 and injuring 2 on board. The domestically-developed Indian helicopter entered service in 2002 and uses engines from France's Turbomeca/Safran who also helped in its development.

A MiG 21 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed on a house in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan on Monday, leaving three women dead and as many others injured on the ground. The pilot ejected from the plane and is undergoing treatment at the Suratgarh military hospital.
"Three women have died in the incident and three others are injured," IG, Bikaner range, Om Prakash said. In a statement, the IAF said the pilot of the aircraft sustained minor injuries.
The aircraft crashed into the house, killing the three women who were sitting on the terrace, Hanumangarh Sadar assistant sub inspector Lalchand said. An Indian Air Force helicopter was rushed to rescue the pilot who sustained injuries after ejection. The aircraft had taken off from Suratgarh air force station and the pilot reported a technical snag soon after take-off.
Earlier in January 2023, one pilot lost his life after two Indian Air Force fighter jets - a Sukhoi Su-30 and a Mirage 2000 - crashed during a training exercise in Rajasthan's Bharatpur. While one aircraft crashed in Morena in Madhya Pradesh, the other crashed and landed in Rajasthan's Bharatpur.
Earlier last week an Indian Army chopper crashed in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district. Another accident happened in Kochi in April when a Coast Guard helicopter during trials made a crash landing. This March in Mumbai a Navy chopper had "ditched" after performing VVIP duties.
In October last year, two incidents of army chopper crash were reported in Arunachal Pradesh. A Cheetah helicopter crashed near the Tawang area of Arunachal Pradesh leading to the death of one Indian Army pilot.
Wait, Indians still operate MiG-21s?
Don't you remember when India used MiG-21s during that bombing in Pakistan back in 2019?
It was pretty funny.
The frequency of crashes is a little odd considering the fewer flight hours the Indian AF gets.
So does Romania, a NATO country.
Of course, Romania doesn't go around pretending to be a superpower.
Jesus the list just goes on and on

Wikipedia has a list of Indian Navy accidents that's pretty lulzy if you're in the mood for a laugh, or a bit of existential horror
Gimme the highlights
not really a naval accident per-say.....
>October 2016: Sub Lieutenant Tejveer Singh died on 11 October 2016 onboard INS Kuthar after he accidentally fired his 9mm pistol. He was shifted to Naval Hospital INHS Kalyani in Visakhapatnam where he succumbed to his injuries.[36]
>three jeets get disintegrated while they're cleaning a CIWS and it fires
>a whole bunch of jeets keep getting burned alive and suffocating due to fires and carbon monoxide leaks inside submarines
>a Navy Mig jettisons it's external fuel tank right over it's own base, hitting a building and starting a large fire
>dozens of dalit slaves keep getting mangled and die in horrible dockside accidents
>jeets can't into navigation and keep ramming their ships into civilian traffic, shoals, and docks
>two guys die from toxic gasses while working on the sewage system of their aircraft carrier
https://wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Indian_Naval_accidents
>Pajeets actually poo in the loo
>Two people die
Grim, but I guess I understand now. Maybe they should just build a dedicated shitting ramp.
bet at least one didn't even get hit, just got his organs pulped by the muzzle blast
>two guys die from toxic gasses while working on the sewage system of their aircraft carrier
sirs please understand. It was curry monday in food place. Khrisna bless them
How can this be!? Indian soldiers should be the best managed in the world with the caste system ensuring only the best get into leadership positions.
>Indian soldiers should be the best managed in the world with the caste system ensuring only the best get into leadership positions.
The caste system does the opposite actually. It throws meritocracy out of the window in favor of hereditary and caste nepotism.
>June 2016: Two people, a sailor and a civilian contractor, were killed by a toxic gas leak that occurred during maintenance work in the Sewage Treatment Plant compartment during the first refit of the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya at Karwar, Karnataka. Two other people were injured and taken to the naval hospital.
This is actually a thing that happens in a fuck ton of countries, including the US. Bulkheads can be extremely deadly, and people dying from toxic gasses happened a ton. There is a recent story of 5 or so people dying, 4 of which were people trying to go pull out the unconscious people before them. The USN has thick books filled with safety procedures written in blood.

Judging by the awesome and unparalleled records of the MiG-21, it's a shame that Russia hasn't paraded at least one of them yesterday during the Victory day
Good morning sir
Turd worlders can't fly, build aircraft or maintain them.
Indian MiG-21s have had more attrition to peacetime accidents then most other aircraft have had in war.
It's like if the Germans and Canadians had kept using the F-104 until today despite the horrible losses.
>The pilot ejected from the plane and is undergoing treatment at the Suratgarh military hospital.
>"Three women have died in the incident and three others are injured
that would be so grim to face for a person with a functioning conscience. since this is india he probably forgets the next day
I feel like the pilot went out of his way to crash into the house instead of the open field all around it.
There could be cows in the field. It is better for his karma to hit the house.
How does one do that after ejecting? Prayers to Kali?
It´s a rural home so almost sure the pilot it´s from a higher caste, I´ll be surprised if the families of the dead get any sort of compensation at all.
>Samir, you’re breaking the plane
>DO NOT REDEEM EJECTION SEAT
>DO NOT REDEEM
HARD LEFT TRIPLE CAUTION
LISTEN TO MY CALL

U Pakistan dog ur mother bitch will be raped in night time
>Russian Engineering

The unholy trinity of BRICS military
Test
The cow dung fueled engine may not be optimal.
Doesn't matter anymore since India switched to France's aircraft, what are their names I forgot.
Based and pajeet pilled
Those timed out engines don’t work well for anybody
never gets old.
>"So Velthy"

Has India redemed many aircraft lately?
So? Aircraft crash if you fly them. It's actually quite normal for any air force. Without knowing the loss rate per flying hour a crash or several don't really mean much. For example during peak USAF in the late Cold War it was predicted by the Safety folks that we'd crash roughly a squadron of fighter/attack birds per year. They were pretty accurate as to the various causes.
India will plant more per flight hour for silly reasons than a first world air force but that's to be expected and the loss itself is trivial though I do enjoy destruction.
Yeah sure. Every other notable country is crashing aircraft killing multiple people every single month...not.
Even a lot of Indians acknowledge and are embarrassed by their frequent crashes.
And how many flight hours was the US flying at the time? How many is India flying? The US has a very low crash rate per flight hour, the metric that matters. Let's see you give the Indian numbers Sir, do the needful.
>So? Aircraft crash if you fly them. It's actually quite normal for any air force.
The absolute level of cope, congratulations for raising the bar even higher Rajesh
>crashes in an empty field
>kills 3
Just how fucking jam packed is that place?
They just recently surpassed China in population.
Are you illiterate?
>A MiG 21 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed on a house in Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan on Monday

They had a house made of dirt and grass?
