another Abrams knocked out by T-72 B3

>The Russian military has destroyed another M1 Abrams tank sent to Ukraine by the US in Russia’s Donbass, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said. It is the third vehicle of the type to be knocked out by Russia in recent days.

>In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said the Abrams had been taken out during a fight near the city of Avdeevka, which was recently liberated by Russian troops.

>The tank “was knocked out in one shot by the crew of a T-72 B3,” officials said. They added that Kiev had also lost 460 service members, as well as another tank, four infantry fighting vehicles, two armored and five ordinary vehicles, and a Buk mobile air defense missile system in the area.

>Footage of the duel between the Russian and US-made tank was shared by RIA Novosti. It shows the destroyed Abrams in a rural landscape. It also includes video which apparently was shot from the T-72 showing it firing at the enemy armor, which then explodes.

https://www.rt.com/russia/593871-abrams-tank-destroyed-donbass/

The video is viewable on Telegram through the link provided in the RT article

These Abrams have been going up in flames like fireworks this week, what is wrong with them? This is at least the 3rd one. Is the export version trash or is it Ukrainian tactics when using them?

        >but whatabout CNN and Fox??
RT is a state sponsored(actually funded) by the russian government for the sake of spreading propaganda to the west. Its there for the sake of muddying waters for morons in the west and to incite doubts and division to the "unsure" aspect of society. In the west, the will report on more "right wing" type of news while in south america they are reporting "left wing. Their incentives is to cause as much discourse and doubts in the west and maybe gain supporters for russia, but still incite doubts on interests against the russian government. RT has always been a lying peice of media for the Russian government.
        >but nbc fox and cnn
They report bias, but aren't state sponsored. They are for corporate interests and wants to spread whatever interests their corporation wants to spread. Most of the time, they report some factual stuff because thats still within corporate interests of being a news reporter. Maybe with a little bit of bias if they donated to their favorite political party. Overall, stop comparing state sponsored agencies to corporate media. Their interests are vastly different and state sponsored media lies more than corporate sponsored ones

If they are former agents, they are still obligated to follow corporate interests. They are not funded by the government or state by any means. Just because they are a former glowie doesn't mean they still have connections with their former employers.

          Anonymous

First off all the corporate and political world is one and the same in the US so making the distinction between state or corporate sponsored is nonsense. It's already become public knowledge that the government and three letter agencies are heavily influencing and forcing corporate to do their bidding while at the same time corporate donors enable their candidates to be voted into public office and their network allows for efficient legal bribery. This was extensively proven with Soros and the local/regional DA's whose campaign funding was several times that of their peers. Likewise in higher positions insider trading and well payed alibi side jobs for corporations or donations to campaigns are indisputable.
Second of all state sponsored media isn't unique to Russia. In Germany for example it's considered an essential and necessary part of a functional democracy and any and all movements to reduce funding even as a response to scandals of blatant corruption are met with heavy resistance on the basis of defending democracy.
Now your cognitive dissonance is going to go into full force because you don't want to accept that the west isn't any better than Russia since surprise surprise: Propaganda works too fricking well.

You have no idea how wrong you are. >distinction between state or corporate sponsored is nonsense
Its not nonsense because they are both explicitly different. Corporations do not have to heed to governments demands unless they legally have to
            >all state sponsored media isn't unique to Russia. In Germany for example it's considered an essential and necessary part of a functional democracy and any and all movements to reduce funding even as a response to scandals of blatant corruption are met with heavy resistance on the basis of defending democracy.
Nobody is saying Russia only does state sponsored media specifically. However, their state media is explicitly bias compared to western media. Its so blatant that it hurts and they are not even trying to be objective. In the west, government media tends to be more neutral while private media organizations tend to be bias to whoever's is their party's affiliation/donors. Bias's between nation's state media are not all the same.
            >Now your cognitive dissonance is going to go into full force because you don't want to accept that the west isn't any better than Russia since surprise surprise: Propaganda works too fricking well.
Except it is and what we have now is not comparable to russia. Don't compare 1st world problems to problems in a post soviet state still under a totalitarian system.

            >that the government and three letter agencies are heavily influencing and forcing corporate to do their
Thats not how it works in the west. They don't force anybody to do their bidding because they have no power to do so unless the company in question is under serious legal challenges. What they will do, however, is find a common ground between the interests of the government and the interests of the corporations. It is not like russia where the government there fully utilizing vague media laws to control their media. In the west, governments/corporations compromise. In russia, the government goes no lube anal on any media to do their bidding.

I posted the thread from yesterday. The source didn’t specify the weapon used so I assumed it must be a heavy crewed ATGM because of how far the zoom was and the relative stability, ie it was stationary but not rock-solid. It also didn’t look the 2.5 pixels of a Ka-52 camera. If the shots were from a T-72B3 I’d expect the camera to be more rock-solid / stable — of course I don’t know how stable those sights are in reality, just assuming that the turret is stabilized which would naturally mean the sights are too. Finally, another anon said that Kornet can’t take recordings from its own optics which would work out here because there’s no crazy jostling as you’d expect during loading of the second missile.

They were incapable of dismantling their opponent like a western army does and then decided to try (and fail) to throw enough bodies at the problem.
The extremely bad attritional rate for russia has made this a rather poor strategy, especially since the materiel losses and loss of military expertise as they sent their trainers in to fill the gaps and die first are not easy to replace.

Look pal just because TRS homosexuals spammed /misc/ and this site in general doesn't mean all racists or even a purality ever though Russia was a white nationalist empire worth supporting. 40% of their economy is owned by israelites, no influenced by some homosexual hedge fund like blackrock which buy sup 7% of stocks so they can put a whiney heeb woman on the board to whine about "muh systemic X" and demand more muds be hired but never listened to. They say they hate homosexuals yet allow homosexualry so long as it isn't public. They aren't actually racist let alone genocidally so.

If we ever get control the libtards, ruskies, chinks, gays, and cuckservatives will be on their knees begging for their fanciful Hollywood vision of nazis let alone what they really were. Imagine it, a genocidal empire interested only the propagation of its own white citizenry at the expense of all others. No diplomacy, no mercy, no humanity, no dignity, just a machine of survival and fecundity which exists only to replace all things with itself. The Taylorism which actually won the world wars will finally be unshackled from the chains of morality which the WASPs(read Roundheads) bound it. Free from whiny israelitey duplicity or libtard social signaling.

The future is a hob-nailed boot crushing a human skull, ONCE, forever. No humiliation, or coercion, or oppression. Just death and war without end. Praise be to the God and the /K/ube. Death to the weak.

So this time, rather than leave ourselves vulnerable to back stabbing #4, we are just going to let Russia starve instead
Do russians have a version of the story of "the boy who cried wolf?"

Did they remove the part where the boy lies three times and then when the wolf comes for real no one believes him?
Because I get the distinct impression that no one inside Russia has ever actually heard that part of the story

No it's much simpler - they just stop reading books and just watch TV

If it we're just a problem of government putin would've been ousted years ago. Dictators exist by the implicit consent of their populations.

Russians are in almost full support of Putin, they're angry because they're losing.

    >Dictators exist by the implicit consent of their populations

Every nation gets exactly the type of government that their people deserve.

Is The B3 the version with the ATGM launcher? Since, that's what merked the Abrams in your video.

    >i love the 2 weeks cope since it was created my western MSM
Daily reminder that "10 days until the SMO switches to cleanup" was in the Kremlin's own battle plans, as disseminated to their own troops of the RuAF, with evidence found in the tanks deserted by the 1GTA, picrel.

Why does it look like a T-55?
Why are the secondaries exploding forward when the Abrams ammo is all in the rear turret?

Did they seriously blow up one of their own T-55s just so they could claim an Abrams kill?
