Anderson AR15s

I just bought an Anderson AM15 pistol as my first AR15. I am in the military, so I know how to operate an AR, but l am unsure which brands are good quality. My uncle recommended Anderson and said they make decent starter ARs, so I thought I’d give them a try. I hear mixed opinions on the brand. What do you guys think?

I have heard PSA is good. I might swap my upper out for a PSA one, because I hear they are better than the ones anderson makes.

      BCM

      >buy bcm upper to put on psa meme lower
      >turns out my bcm upper isn't even headspaced or assembled properly
      >order psa upper for a 1/3rd of the cost
      >just works
where's that fat italian buffoon from bcm who made a video about quality control now?

I have much cheaper mystery meat ars and still call them poverty ponies. The worst lower I own is an anderson.

I want to know if I made a shitty or good purchase, simple as.

you made a poorgay purchase, you could have spent more on a better product and you didnt.
as long as you didnt vastly overpay for the shitstick then its fine.

I have heard PSA is good. I might swap my upper out for a PSA one, because I hear they are better than the ones anderson makes.

psa is slightly better than what you bought but still crap.
going from anderson to psa is spending 1 dollar and 25 cents instead of a dollar. meanwhile things worth buying start at 5 bucks.

Yeah I took the cheaper route for sure, but I only wanted something to get started on. I paid $350 for it new, so I think I got a good deal. Also I think you are being a bit of a tard because most people I know say PSA are really good for the price. What brand do you buy from?

That's a good price, and what you got should be fine.

            >most people I know say PSA are really good for the price
            >good for the price.
            its right there
            that clause
psa good for the price. its cheap mediocrity overall.
if price isnt a concern you get a better entry level ar elsewhere. ruger, sw, delton, stag, there are numerous companies making better than psa ars with actual quality control and warranty services that dont frick with you before fixing it like psa does. but they are all a hundred or 2 more.
even the good premium psa options arent that cheap.

Okay, I will swap out my upper with something higher quality. I will look at those brands and see what parts I'll get.

              Why are you so dim?

I'm not, I'm just trying to make conversation

Just get good with what you have and worry about upgrading later. If you got a full rifle for $350 then you won.

Don't listen to the Gucci boys op. It's a good buy. You don't need to drop 2 grand on a rifle. They shoot bullets all the same. Although I would get a PSA 16 in barrel or higher when you can afford it. You just don't get the full potential of 5.56 out of a pistol.

True. Of course you’re gonna get better quality buying an AR for two grand but that’s not to say you can’t get a decent shooter for less money

as long as the gun goes bang and puts the bullet where you want it it's fine. you gucci gungays are the worst

Don't listen to the Gucci gays, your ar is just fine. Spend money on light, sling, and optic, and ammo

Train with your Anderson and slowly build a new, better rifle. Or just outright buy a new one..you're better off buying ammo at this point instead of worry about swapping out parts unless there is a major issue.
