Everyone with testosterone.
is everyone broke?
Do you know what a recession is Anon?
There's not a recession.
gaslighting like a mother fucker. prices are both way up, and people have far less disposable income in my area than this same time last year.
That's not a recession. That's just inflation.
>That's not a recession. That's just inflation.
Also a return to long term normality. A lot of people, particularly zoomies, got used to post-Cold War ENDOFHISTORY surplus floods and military drawdowns that, combined with few shooters, artificially deflated ammo prices for a few decades. Corruption in ex-soviet countries added onto that, lots of stuff (not just ammo) was sold for ludicrously low prices because it wasn't official at all.
Eventually though even decades of massive military buildup supplies will run out, and of course peer war is now back on the menu. There may not be another period quite like that in our lifetimes.
The only way for a period like that to happen again in our lifetimes is for WW3 or Cold War 2 to happen and conclude with the US victorious without being nuked. Then we get a flood of Chinese or whatever surplus.
We've had 2 consecutive quarters of GDP decline so, yes, there is a recession, even if our political talking heads do not want to say it.
Its not a recession technical or otherwise. I'm assuming you are just lying
"Real gross domestic product (GDP) increased at an annual rate of 2.1 percent in the second quarter of 2023 (table 1), according to the "second" estimate released by the Bureau of
Economic Analysis. In the first quarter, real GDP increased 2.0 percent.30 Aug 2023"
In fact the US economy is rock solid right now, money printing is off, the fed had well managed inflation and brought it down, employment is full, stock markets are up, banks are liquid and capitalised. The US economy has not been this solid in a long time.
Coping democrat detected.
Straight into the fox/cnn politics and spastic AR spamming there champ, trying to prove you're a fucking retarded instead of just letting people guess huh?
Your previous post is still retarded and might be bait too, but damn, you sure took mine like a true schizo lmao
>I believe everything they say
If there's room up your ass after ramming your shitty AR up there feel free to ram your printed and bound collection of qanon twitter posts and stuff them your ass with it. All you retarded fucks can do is droll about ARgayry and fox and cnn shit. You did not even grown up with guns, you know nothing about shooting sports or hobbies yet there you are with your pile of shit rifle, inability to shoot and unwanted political opinions.
Damn bro it’s rare I see seethe this hard.
>It's a paradise even for retarded workers right now so long as they're willing to work hard.
Source: retired boomers.
I have not had a single person under the age of 50 say the job market is in a good place in their own experiences. I have a good job too.
My friend (23) works in IT helpdesk and the new hires he was “training” are people with 10 years of experience who got laid off from Amazon/Microsoft. His coworkers ran into the guy who left for a better paying job my friend replaced working at the UPS store
Damn that first part is rough. However, and this may just be me, I have no idea what your second sentence is conveying.
The guy he replaced, left because he found a better job at Microsoft(?), he was then laid off immediately and they found him working at United Postal Service at the desk taking packages.
Sounds like a healthy, wealthy workers market. Thank God-Emperor of Mankind Biden
Thank you anon for the translation. And fuck that sucks.
>I have no idea what your second sentence is conveying
Are you esl? Cause it's clear enough and I have run into your type of confusion before. Retard behind in at Circle K spoke no English, to his own fault. I would never break into a country and not learn the language.
No it was just unclear sentence structure which muddled the story. Believe me I’m no esl.
> His coworkers ran into the guy who left for a better paying job my friend replaced working at the UPS store
This bizarre word order is more esl than anything else. It would make more sense in English to say
>My friend replaced a guy who left for a better paying job and his coworkers later saw the guy working at a UPS store
or some variation of it like
>The guy my friend replaced left to find a better paying job, but my friend’s coworkers saw him working at a UPS store.
But I’m not gonna mock that anon for his weird word order. He might have been in a hurry or something. It’s just not natural English at all.
I am shitposting at work on my phone getting paid way more than said friend and rewrote portions of the sentence at random, it was not good
I’d tell you to have a nice day but you don’t even have a gun
I hear this very often and genuinely struggle to square it with my experience. From where I'm standing, inflation is ridiculously high, my wages did not increase commensurate with the inflation, and my grocery bill is significantly higher and growing every couple of weeks. Speaking of groceries, there seem to still be "supply chain issues." Interest rates are also ridiculous. How would an optimist such as yourself square this with the good economy you describe?
Well what you 'see' really does not matter a fuck compared to inflation rates, employment numbers etc.
Yes, what actually matters to people living their day to day lives does not matter to the political economy good numbers.
have a nice day.
Do the federal reserve call you and listen top your valuable insights before they set rates. The fucking tard head on you.
Honestly go fuck yourself you lying garden gnome
lol, lmao even. I didn't realize that Jack Black posted on PrepHole...
I'm almost certain we have been in a recession for the past few months, so yes, we are all broke.
This. Why people want “cheap” guns is beyond me. Guns are a hobby and no longer a necessity, so you’re lucky enthusiasts haven’t made it impossible for you to waste ammo at the run shooting a gun you’ll never use for defense. The macho tough guy saves the day never happens
Just stop paying taxes and you'll have plenty of money to buy guns and ammo.
how do you stop paying taxes?
By having no actual employment
Volunteer in Ukraine. Then you can have your
surplus gun and do something useful with it (killing orcs). Private gun ownership be service in the NG anyways. Well regulated militia.
Kys robomoron.
>chud hands wrote this
Even I support Ukraine, but lord that was a faggy thing to say
>tfw sks is banned
Leaf?
SKS are not banned in Canada.
worse, new zealand
>>AMMO PRICES ARE 2X THE PRICE OF 3 YEARS AGO
wtf are you adopting? the only thing even close to this is 5.45.
he's just badposting
>>AMMO PRICES ARE 2X THE PRICE OF 3 YEARS AGO
No they aren't, prices have been dropping for ages. 9mm down to 20cpr or below, 5.56 at 38cpr, 308 at 70cpr. Adjusted for the serious inflation of the last few years and the prices have absolutely dropped a lot from the panic levels.
>>SKS'S ARE ALMOST 4X THE PRICE OF 5 YEARS AGO
Oh I see this is about some shitty commie poorfag x39 garbage. Time for you to buy Western :^)
> No they aren't, prices have been dropping for ages. 9mm down to 20cpr or below, 5.56 at 38cpr, 308 at 70cpr.
Literally only these three calibers are affordable at all. Fuck anyone shooting anything else I guess.
>Saw .38 on shelves for the first time in years
>It's more expensive than .380ACP
>.380ACP will no longer be panic proof after this year because a bunch of cool .380s dropped
I'm considering getting into 10mm or 7.62 just so I can find stuff when then next dumb thing happens. Might get a cheap .45 too, maybe a 1911 just to round out the collection.
Nothing is panic proof. Just get what you like and can feasibly stock up on.
>Nothing is panic proof.
Fair enough. Panic resistant, then.
It's crazy to me that people have been snatching up everything they can for so long that even revolvers have gotten swept up. Even during the post SH Feinsteining I could find .38 everywhere and even found a 686+ on sale at Academy that I regret not buying. .380ACP has generally been pretty safe because everyone on forums and in physical stores usually says to just buy a 9mm but with all of the cool shit that dropped this year I anticipate that it's going to become harder to find and/or more expensive.
Nor the other guy that responded to you but I'd like to remind people the "panic proof" apparent calibers that were still on the shelf were the last ones made for a long time. They weren't being resupplied before more of everything common was produced. They were merely the last to go and once they went they didn't come back for a long time.
I really want to get a .38sp classic revolver but the ammo prices have gotten stupid. I probably will just say fuck it and go for it though because the cool factor is worth it
Imagine what both will be like in another 5 years.
The only bad time to buy arms and ammo is tomorrow.
>AMMO PRICES ARE 2X THE PRICE OF 3 YEARS AGO
No they are not. ~0.35 vs 0.8
>SKS
I see. Your problem is that you're a gay.
>There are people on PrepHole RIGHT NOW whose reference for when SKSs were cheap is fucking 2018
i remember when they used to throw an sks after you walking out the door.
surplus crate ammo was used as doorstops...
my buddy got a nice one for $150. I laughed in $350 wasr at the time and then bought 500 rounds for $75. 2005 was a different time.
I got an unissued Yugo sks with 80rounds of ammo for $200 ~15 years ago.
Cleaning all the cosmo off sucked.
Time moves forward, and young people eventually get older, crazy concept ain't it?
All I really shoot is 9mm and .380 these days so its not so bad for me. WASRs collecting dust though.
>wanting russ*an guns
kys vatnik
tourist
*Back toReddit! Now!
stop falling for the exact same obvious falseflag posts in every thread you stupid morons
I missed out on Mosins and the mountains of surplus 54R in the 2010s
I had no idea how good we actually had it. I didn't really get into buying guns and ammo until 2011. If I had any idea how bad it was going to get, I'd have made some seriously different decisions.
>cries about shitsticks, and, corrosive crap ammo at preinflation prices.
>never mentions when Garands, 1903s, Manatobas, P7E's and Saigas were in clearance bins for dirt cheap.
0.01/10
5.56 is 28¢pr, sale ends today.
What sale?
SGammo has some listings for Winchester and Browning and both are doing a rebate
I recently saw 700 rounds of 7.62 in spam can for $300
4 years ago I was hard eyeballing a crate of 1440 round on stripper clips and brass, for $300, then it moved up to $375 the next time I saw it still scratching my head on buying it. They sell out and I never see it again. I do see the stripper clips going for $10 bucks a piece or more on eBay. Those alone would have paid for the crate,, with some to spare and free ammo! Fuck me!
>couldah shuldah wouldah
I believe all the Turkish stuff is the new shouldah couldah wouldah stuff of tomorrow! DOn't say I didnt warn you! Especially their functional CZ clones made out of plastics! wink wink!
Yep.
All of the following current items will be the "it was so much better ten years ago" meme
>cheapo but decent quality glock clones, 5-7 clones, aks and ars
>forged metal turk pistols
>striker fired turk pistols
>cheap beretta pistols
>cheap cz pistols
>leo offloads of glock brand glocks for like 350ish $
>cmp garands are still 700$
>every single current 9mm pcc is at bargain bin prices because no one will use it with a brace
People will look back at this era and say the same shit.
How is Turk ammo? Seems like it's no cheaper than all the other stuff out there. Really seems like all ammo follows a price trend no matter who manufactured it
so with more modern service rifles getting steadily replaced, will we ever see them as surplus?
no, and for that I am grateful.
No, they'd never be acceptably converted for civilian ownership.
>SKS costs $100 25 years ago
>AR15 costs $1,000 25 years ago
Now
>SKS costs $500-800
>AR15 costs $>400-900
And nothing of value was lost
Don't worry too much about that ten years ago you could pick up original Brown Besses for 300 now they are 3000 and percussion pocket pistols that were selling at auction for 50 dollars are now 500
It's hard to care about people who can't reload.
But you exist in the time of ubiquitous ARs everywhere, and that is much better than some old beat up surp. This is literally the golden age of running tactical platforms fit for the mission you need, and you seethe over obsolete guns firing meme calibers? Rather than just consoom and buy old guns for the sake of filling a room, invest in a good AR platform and familiarize yourself with every aspect of it. Thats far more logical than just shooting an old wood gun.
>But you exist in the time of ubiquitous ARs everywhere, and that is much better than some old beat up surp.
Not really, but I will leave you to your cheap and nasty delusions. You just could not restrain yourself from posting about ARs like they matter a fuck to people who love old guns or history, even precision, sheet, small bore, bench, re-enactment, BP, 3P,BRCR, CAS, Silhouette, etc like you have zero self awareness or understanding of shooting and just have to huff your own spastic vidya larp ar farting .
>Rather than just consoom and buy old guns for the sake of filling a room, invest in a good AR platform and familiarize yourself with every aspect of it. Thats far more logical than just shooting an old wood gun.
You know literally nothing about guns or shooting sports or collecting and should shut the fuck up. Take your AR and stuff it up your ass and hop off.
Can someone explain under what circumstance an SKS would be preferable to an AK-47? I understand if it’s for collection purposes or having a home defense weapon that looks “friendlier” in the eyes of a fudd jury, but imho the SKS looks strictly inferior to the AK.
>missed out on buying a shitty gun for cheap
So?
Schitzo quanon boomer time is it? Fuck off back to 4chan.
Fuck off
Umm sweaty, the minimum wage should be 30 dollars
You’re against livable wages aren’t you
just don't be poor mutt, what's a big deal?
I'm not sure if you're complaining about being poor, stupid or both? Please clarify.
>didn't buy 6 sks
Ngmi
Yeah, kinda stupid thread about whining.
Is ammo really that bad? Doesn't seem to be worse than 2020 yet. As for cheap milsurp, yeah that ship sailed long ago.
No. He's just an idiot. I'm getting cheapest prices w/free ship.
sks is and always was commie shit.
buy mini14 if you are too cool for ar15.
