Where's the whining eurohomosexual crying about his favorite actor getting convicted of manslaughter while screaming that people only think he's a moron because of "politics". I know you're reading this b***h, get in here so I can laugh at you.
I'll preemptively drop this for him:
https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/578453-prop-master-says-he-turned-down-job-on-rust-because-it-was/ >be a potential prop master for Rust >Zoromski said he became concerned when he first noted that producers of the film had combined the roles of assistant prop master and armorer, who manages firearms on set, into one position, NBC News reported. >“I impressed upon them that there were great concerns about that, and they didn’t really respond to my concerns about that,” Zoromski said. >AD also fricked up but Baldwin hired him >Baldwin was reportedly given the gun by Dave Halls, an assistant director who was previously fired from another production after a gun misfire.
There are no politics here, just Baldwin being a guy at the top fricking up by running fast, loose and cheap on the production.

>What moron brought live ammo on a movie set?
Alec surely would know blaming the inexperienced armorer for presence of live round he himself loaded into the gun would be easy
convince me the live round didn't originate from Alec
tbh this is why anybody except Alec will likely get off. They can't prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Alec didn't drop a live round in which means they can just plead the 5th and let reasonable doubt set them free.
Except Alec because even if they can't prove he loaded it he still shouldn't have shot a gun at somebody
>They can't prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Alec didn't drop a live round in
well.. if the origin of the round was conclusively shown to be something with nothing at all to do with Alec, that would set him free
Gun wasn't even supposed to be shot during the scene.

So Alec is going to jail then, it's shows complete disregard for protocol and safety that he would just pick up a gun and point it at someone without any reason to besides wilful disregard for human life

Yeah he also hired the armorer, expanded her role, dismissed her for the day, and hired he assistant director who handed him the gun.
His argument of "someone was supposed to make sure that gun wasn't loaded" falls apart because he personally let her go home for the day.

I wouldn't say that the argument falls apart, he could have done all that and more. It wouldn't have mattered at all if she had actually secured the guns, rather than having allowed folks on set to shoot them. He might be liable for having had hired her, if there is evidence she wasn't qualified. But wasn't her dad a famous armorer for Hollywood? The assistant director however, is fricked, because he told Alec the gun was not loaded.

The armorers job is to make sure the guns are safe, Baldwin let her/had her go home for the day. He was in charge of establishing levels of security and instead he negligently allowed all of them to fall by the wayside until he end result of his combined negligence lit off in his hand. AD isn't even getting charged because his job isn't to safe weapons, unlike the armorers.
So what motive would he have to kill her then?
Involuntary manslaughter - he didn't mean to, he's just a fricking idiot and can't take responsibility for his actions.

>Baldwin and the film’s armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed will each be charged with involuntary manslaughter, while first assistant director David Halls has agreed to plead guilty to the charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon. The charges will be filed by the end of the month, Ms Carmack-Altwies said in a statement.
Assistant Director isn't a dumby, he already agreed to plea guilty, probably why he's getting the lesser charge.

This is all extremely suspect, like Alec set this all up in order to kill her without getting charged, there's too many pieces to make it seem like he's just stupid

I agree, but I think he is certainly guilty of involuntary manslaughter, but any other crime related to intent would be much harder to prove.
Involuntary manslaughter only requires fault, not intent.
>They can't prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that Alec didn't drop a live round in
That isn't how the law works. You have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he did load a live round.
Was shooting at her with a dummy round not part of the script?

The assistant director, Dave Halls, was removed from the set immediately and was fired later, according to the producer.

Then he learned he would have two prop assistants but no separate armorer to focus exclusively on the film’s array of firearms. “We’d really like one of the assistants to be the armorer that can push up on the gunfights and heavy armorer days,” Walters emailed him the next day. (She did not respond to requests for comment.)
>“This was the deal breaker, when they wanted to compress the responsibilities of these two positions,” Zoromski says. “This would definitely create a dangerous situation with safety being minimized.” He cited his own armorer credentials as the industry standard. “I have to maintain an entertainment firearms permit, and I’ve maintained that for about 10 years,” he says. “I also maintain a federal firearms license, which puts your fingerprints with the FBI and with Interpol. You can’t imagine yourself an armorer if you have a bunch of skeet shooting trophies on your shelf.” As lead prop master, he would have insisted on overseeing a full-time armorer with that level of experience and dedication. Since he wouldn’t be getting it, he turned down the job. That position, as well as the separate armorer/assistant job, both eventually went to relative newcomers.
It's not dangerous what the frick is this moron saying.
Just keep everything unloaded or only loaded with fake shit stored seperately, that's literally what is this moronation that one guy can't do two things.
>how do you expect actors to know if theyre safe
The same way i expect any new shooter i take to the range. They hand the actor the gun and ammunition separately and let them load it. They also teach them the difference between blanks and live rounds (brass butthole vs copper is rather obvious). Gun safety is a 15 minute training course.
Belt fed firearms aren't magic. It takes no time to teach someone how to work the basic functions of any gun.
How to >insert ammunition >cycle the action >switch between safe and fire
Any malfunction can be handled by the trained armourer so you dont even need to consider that. Also if anything its easier to confirm a belt is all blanks than a box magazine.
you really think the actors have time to do this shit? It's like saying the doctor at an operating table should fetch all his instruments himself. There's a reason there are different roles on a set. Question is why there were live rounds on a set to begin with..
>you really think the actors have time to do this shit?
Yes.
It's part of the protocol on a movie set. Everybody check. > armorer checks when handing you the gat > actor checks when receiving the gat
It's defense in depth: if the armor fricks up (which she did, in a couple different ways) the actor is the backtstop and will notice when they check.
And, Baldwin was the producer. As such he hired this fricking no-talent "armorer". Baldwin got what he paid for.
Yeah but he should have, because I'm a gun owner and I KNOW these things and also every actor who ever got handed a belt fed machine gun should have checked EVERY SINGLE ROUND
>how do you expect
You should A L W A Y S teach a new shooter basic gun safety and give them a five minute crash course on the function of the particular firearm before thrusting a gun into their hands, ~~*actor*~~ or otherwise. God, you consoomer Hollywood worshipping gays will literally defend anything they do, huh?
Anon, the gun cannot fire without the hammer coming down. If he pulled the hammer and it moved the trigger forward, causing him to then instinctively grasp it with his finger and pull it, then he pulled the trigger. Hell, if he DIDN'T touch the trigger and instead just caused the ND by dropping the hammer he is still responsible. He's responsible even if the gun magically misfired without him touching either. He handled the weapon, he pointed it at her, he ended her life.
Remember when a prominent Hollywood actor/director shot a motherfricker he had beef with under completely irresponsible circumstances, blatantly lied in public about it multiple times, and literally nothing happened for over a year?
Why doesn't someone tell the truth.
This imbecilic female was playing shoot 'em up the night before and was using live ammo on a movie set, which is a big no-no. The dumb b***h put live rounds in a gun being used as a prop and never made sure they were removed before it was put back into use on the set.
And that piece of shit Baldwin was handed that same gun with live rounds, lost his temper with the photography director and during the argument he pointed the gun at her and pulled the trigger thinking it was loaded with blanks.
If anything these people should be facing more severe charges than manslaughter.
Ignorant of the law, I take it? This whole case is textbook manslaughter. The term does not mean “murder but not so bad”, it means “negligent murder”. The issue is intent.
Any adult with an IQ above room temperature knows that you don't point a firearm at another person unless you intend to use it, much less one that you didn't check to see if it was loaded.
This wasn't a child playing with their parent's gun. Baldwin knew what he was doing.

FRICK THAT b***h
convince me the live round didn't originate from Alec
ahem.. FRICK THAT b***h
oh you're referring to Alec to begin with, my bad then
khm.. FRICK THAT INCOMPETENT ARMORER b***h (THAT ISNT ALEC FOR THE DIMWITS OUT THERE)
you can't blame her can you if he put the round himself into the weapon intentionally
give me the motive to kill anyone on set
speculate on the origin of the live round for me, list possibilities on descending order of probability
give me the person responsible for prop firearms on set, anyone can bring real ammo but nothing will happen if all guns are props, one person is responsible for that, i bet you can point THAT b***h out
yeah, she can do spot on job on preparing the weapons but that don't matter if Alec brought his own round to load into the gun
she is responsible with providing prop guns that cant harm anyone
listen guy, i get it, you dont like that actor because he is anti gun yadda yadda, there is one person responsible for the gun safety on set and should rot in prison
