All I want to know is if the Serbs will be able to shoot down this one too.

The Americans used the b2 to bomb the Chinese embassy in Kosovo after the Chinese moved f117 fragments into the Chinese embassy.

They wanted to know mire about American equipment, so the Americans gave them a closer look.
        I don't see the problem.

IIRC, It was F117 which flew same route same time for a week straight.

it also had its bomb bay doors open which made it light up on Radar like a Christmas tree

why didn't the pilot keep them closed??

            Because it was bombing things.

as I understand it Serbs/Russis could track the general flight path because of the interference cause by the EW, so they had some idea they were coming so they were ready, the old Russian longwave technology is better at detecting modern stealth because the modern stealth was designed for more modern radar systems, and when the F117 opened its bomb bay doors the missile system could get strong enough signal for a lock and to shoot it down. If there is any really sensitive info about the weakness in the technology or procedures then its still secret. Stealth is not invisible to radar, it is supposed to work with with EW and tactics to decrease the chance of being detected, tracked, and locked on.

Only if china provides them with targeting info, and one of its landing gear gets stuck in the down position to fuck the radar stealth.

It's really depressing to know that I will never fly one of these for a living. We are all born capable of being there, but since we are ignorant, only the lucky few fall into the pipeline to live a worthy life.

Honestly, flying a C-17 or C-130 seems more exciting than the B-2 and B-21. You'd get a shitload more flight time too.

        the cope is pretty crazy.
f117s in a single month, did 2x the Serb GDP in damage.
it brought the entire country into the dark ages in a few days.
        >but but we got one!
that's like me getting a lucky hit on a MMA fighter only to have them beat me to near death.

the squadron flies directly over my house, multiple times a day. I need to laze it with a rangefinder sometime. It has to be very close, few hundred meters. Close enough to see the panel lines in aircraft body. Im on the landing strip exact azimuth, they have to pass that way to land.

If sent alone without EW cover and on the same flight path everytime. Yeah, It will be shot down
