Jesus Christ, the zoomer generation isn't even biologically viable...

The millennials are the last generation of humans that could breed and produce viable offspring.

Ehh, we don't really know much about millennials' kids, since zoomers are mostly gen x offspring. Judging by early reports, gen alpha is even more moronic than zoomers, so looks like millennials fricked up even more than their parents and older siblings did.

They used to lock up schizos and other invalids. They used to call people pussies until they got their shit together. Now they encourage mental illness and tell them its okay to be "different". Now they get you dumb zoomers addicted to these mind altering chemical wienertails at a young age and turn you into an aimless zoombie with zero drive to better yourselves and your liable to snap and harm yourself or others if you stop taking your medicine that has totally warped your minds. I'm 29 years old and thought my generation was bad. It's pretty tragic that instead of people getting their shit together and being ostracized for being shitbags there's a pill you can take so you can be a shitbag and be happy about it and other shitbags will cheer you on that it's not YOUR fault that you can't improve your situation in life its society's so you sit idly by and wait and hope that there will be some societal upheaval that validates your failure to really do anything of meaning when you could have worked towards something in that time and maybe have seen that your situation was a crab in a bucket mentality once you actually broke free of the negative influences that cheered your poor decision making. It's like loose women trying to push their friend into cheating so they won't be the only one who feels guilty. "If "'X" is also doing "Y" then "X" isn't that big of a deal!"

Why is it always the most dense and out of touch motherfrickers who have to speak on a position of authority with something they know frickall about? The only thing that separates zoomers from millennials and older folks is that we were wienerslapped by reality from the day we were born by both horrifically broken families and being one of the earliest adopters to truly experience the internet for what it is now. In this case you have your Rittenhouses, your wannabe Wolf of Wall Street thinking he’s hot shit because he figured out what a short was and hodled GME, and are generally exposed to more of these rather unsavory elements than those before at a younger age. But thats mostly because we have no fricking choice if we want to actually one day be a part of the sacred cow that is actual home ownership or any sort of wealth that doesn’t involve slaving away into dust for pennies and an occasional sticker every 20 years. Either way I can guaran fricking tee you the average zoomer is nowhere near what these manufactured shills on twatter and Chinese apps are like, they’re either a neurotic mess that get panic attacks talking to cashiers or hopping from shitty wagie job to shitty wagie job coked up on a near 24/7 drug wienertail. Most of us are completely fricked economically to where actually owning some basic b***h cookie cutter house in a neighborhood that isn’t Chiraq tier is a pipe dream because of how bad prices and especially the value of a dollar became.
                t. 23 year old zoomer

                You think I’m joking?
                >Millennials: put out occupy wallstreet.
                >Gets absolutely skull fricked by management and their financial overseers. For years.

                >Zoomers: Quietly goes to play Fortnite or something. “These wages suck man on god fr fr. I don’t really want to go back bruh.”
                >Management spills it’s spaghetti everywhere and wages go hot for the first time in decades.

                The quiet treatment just works.

Thats more of a thing of timing, considering how the economy went for years and all the covid shit. Millions upon millions of people were out of a job by next morning back in 2020 from the knockoff USSR, that year opened the floodgates to something thats been brewing since before even we were alive, case in point Falling Down, Office Space, Fight Club, Taxi Driver, etc. People have been getting more and more pissed for decades, 2020 was just the breaking point.

                Anonymous

                > Thats more of a thing of timing,
This is true, Covid did disrupt a lot of inertia in labor markets, where a lot of people were running on the expectations of having (x) job, rather than the reality of what (x) job was paying you.

But I think the Occupy Wall Street approach is still the worse approach.
To the majority of bystanders it just paints as sense of urgency.
                Urgency in getting a job.
Which in turn drives up labor competition, even though it’s a recession and people are protesting conditions.
You’re more willing to take the job with that shit pay because what are you going to do, join those occupy losers?

Meanwhile the zoomer approach is much more devastating.
                Everyone just leaves.
                There’s no sense of urgency.
No sense for anything except doubt.
                “Why is everyone leaving?”
                “Is their something wrong?”
                “Why aren’t they coming back?”
“Am I missing out, or getting underpaid?”

The instinct based, quiet treatment fricking works, and leaves management scrambling.

Millennials graduated into Obama, 20-25% unemployment and a mini wage of $7 an hour with jobs being ultra competitive (master's degree level) at $10/hr in 2008

            >struggled to find a job again during the pandemic, Black person riots, and more
I mean I'm employed now but I'm clearly never going to make enough money to live away from my parents' house. Most of my peers are in a similar position, our boomer parents are always psychotic morons who tried to force us onto a given life path and were failed by them.
Also inflation has gone up. May as well talk about how boomers on minimum wage could afford a house and 5 children and that millenials had it so easy because they made more than boomers (ignoring that with inflation adjusted to now they were making like 25 an hour or something flipping burgers).
Every generation is going to have it worse than the last because society is decaying and falling apart around us.

Zoomers are mentally barely able to clean a toilet or feed themselves. Their children won't even manage that. I met a milennial woman ten years ago who had just finished secondary school and did not know how to plug a power cord into a wall socket. She claimed her friends or family had always done it for her. Since then I have become aware of millennials at the lower end of the intelligence spectrum:
          1)Calling electricians to change lightbulbs
2)Talking to a microwave for nearly a year believing that it needed to be told to 'cook' verbally once the door was closed
3)Unable to place in alphabetical order
4)Attention span 15 minutes or so
          5)Unable to tie/untie knots
Zoomers are worse. Difficulty in hand eye coordination, eye tracking, simple special relations puzzles etc etc.

Likely never. When shit gets bad, we will just shed the dead weight and keep on trucking. We bring in over a billion dollars per year in research money, we are doing fine. I bring in a few million just on my own and I’m in a social science. Frick it. I got mine. That’s the one thing I learned from my baby boomer parents: get yours and frick everyone else. A source. I need a source.

Sorry, I mean I need a source that explicitly states your argument. This is just tangential to the discussion.

No, you can't make inferences and observations from the sources you've gathered. Any additional comments from you MUST be a subset of the information from the sources you've gathered.

You can't make normative statements from empirical evidence.

Do you have a degree in that field?

A college degree? In that field?

              Then your arguments are invalid.

No, it doesn't matter how close those data points are correlated. Correlation does not equal causation.

              Correlation does not equal causation.

              CORRELATION. DOES. NOT. EQUAL. CAUSATION.

Western countries need to move to a system of one year conscription (non-combative) followed by mandatory reserve service for all adult men. Being exposed to military culture would make plenty of men who otherwise wouldn't have even considered a military career re-enlist at the end of the conscription, and those men would enter into the "real" forces who actually do shit.

Why would they? They have no 9/11. Student loans were just forgiven by the government. normally minimum wage jobs are paying 3 times more than they would before. You are expecting people with no reason to join the army to join the army. Unless you want to go shoot guns and drive tanks or live on a boat there is no reason to join the military.

      >Student loans were just forgiven by the government.
only 10k. a lot of people I know have between 20-30k.
      >normally minimum wage jobs are paying 3 times more than they would before.
fast food jobs haven't paid strictly minimum wage in years. and most places haven't raised it to $15. market rate in most places in Ohio is $11-12. its still garbage and the benefits aren't really good at all. if my choice was mcdonalds or the marines I would go with the marines, they both suck but at least I'd get to shoot guns in the marines

you and every other 30yo boomer on here have a fundamental misunderstanding of the calculus. smart people don't join the military, even for free college. the pay and benefits suck in the military. if you plan on getting a STEM job that pays well after college why frick with the military at all? $30k debt from a state college is perfectly manageable if your starting salary at amazon is going to be $100k. you could pay that off during what your service obligation would have been and be living way better than the average enlistee. zoomer students getting liberal arts degrees disagree with the military on a moral level so they will go into $100k of debt to avoid joining. So that cuts out pretty much 99% of the smart people that would join the military. the enlistees you get are just morons that got fricked by their crooters.

Recruiting challenges aren't helped by the DoD's awful leadership, which seems hellbent on making service members miserable.
Highlights from literally just this week include forces stationed in Hawaii being told to expect a 62% cut to their cost of living allowance pay, which will be "offset" by an expected 4.2% pay raise next year, HQDA telling soldiers to get on food stamps if they struggle to make ends meet, and leadership at Fort Stewart and Fort Bragg telling soldiers that mold in the barracks is their fault and that buildings with mold issues won't be fixed or rebuilt for the foreseeable future.

No, I said New York is great to visit but hell to live in, and I'm speaking from the perspective of those who weren't fortunate enough to have a trust fund or a lavish inheritance and have to actually work for a living.

It's silly to nitpick generalizations. There's going to be outlier exceptions to most, if not all, general statements. Being rich enough to make anywhere comfy is obviously an exception to his statement.

I've only been to one and I wouldn't visit the 50th state if you paid me, I've heard it's far worse and not just due to the laws. However, I've noticed the similarities between them.
Don't get me wrong, I love going there and eating at Marios (the inner island one, has the best mousse cake and the best pizza I've ever eaten. Seawall location is worse but the view is a lot nicer) or staying at the resorts, but look at how the residents there live. They're all poor and usually brown unless you live on Cocoa beach or something. Most of the island is basically a huge slum outside the tourist areas and the beach.
And it's STILL better than Hawaii.

No, if you've visited either you'll get it. It's a lot like New York City, in that visiting is great, living there is a hell beyond imagining.

How many hours a week do you work? Because as a fresh E-1 (Private) you'll make a lovely $22,000/yr. Once you hit E-4 (Corporal) after 4 years you can expect a much more lavish $33,440/yr. Which if you work a 40hr work-week right now is juuust barely more than what you'd probably make right now.

You also have very little expenses. You get free housing and insurance so as long as you don't finance a new charger like a moron you can stack cash like crazy. A guy in my unit did 6 years and two deployments and left the Army with 6 figures in the bank. I did 4 years and one deployment and left with nearly $40k in the bank.

You can't save money like that working for $16/hr and paying rent.

Less than that. You join the military for the benefits like free college, easier time buying a house, monthly gibs for life because PTSD/blown out knees.

Are you still entitled to these things if you're in reserves? May join the National Guard if i can keep my current job and get the benefits of service...

I think Zoomers will have better economic lives because they aren’t as brain-fried as millennials were.
    Millennials parents were baby-boomers.
Which means your parents were either hippie communists, anti-communists, or a lite flavor of one of the two.
But that entire ideological era revolved around conceptualizing capitalism as a system.
Good system, bad system, it was just system, system, system.

Zoomers have relatively little of this, instead their experiences with capitalism is mainly in video games, and is generally more in the cooperative spirit of the game.
You have something I like in the video game, I trade fr fr.
If they get into a shit job they don’t like, they aren’t going to go anarchist, they’re just going to say frick this, your wages suck senpai.
    They run more on instinct.
And Instinct is better than whatever Marxist dialect the millennials were programmed on imo.

Zoomers have their own issues like identity politics, and woke shit but they at least understand how to quietly leave an employer if the pay sucks, rather than writing a communist manifesto.

The plus side is it really does seem like the turd world is no longer a cheap place to outsource labor. The bad side is this means they too want gasoline, cars and air conditioners (meaning these will all go up in price much more than inflation).

We can only hope. On the flip side the US exports a lot of food which means we have them by the balls for now. I fear these good times might be caused more by the balance of power tipping in the favor of the USA itself. I hope it lasts for a while but boom bust cycles are pretty common. Maybe if evergrande in China implodes their economy for good the USA will be set. This positivity in the economy is pretty rare and it’ll probably go back to shit real soon. Really hope the turd worlders just starve.

            > Wages are hot because boomers finally retired. I’m addition wages across the world are rising much slower than inflation.
            >Your drinking the Modern Monetary Theory Kool-Aid.
Modern Monetary Theory has been in practice for decades.
When the federal reserve printed all their brrrr money they justified it by saying it’s “non-transitory” aka its going to stay in the hands of financiers and managers and not going to trickle down into employee’s pockets.
This means even though they are printing huge amounts, employee wages aren’t rising and thus consumer good prices aren’t rising. (Which are the big tell to everyone that inflation is happening. And is the only thing the fed cares about, keeping its MMT out of the eye of the public.)

Basically they were betting they could print to the moon and wages could still be kept under an iron collar.
            And why wouldn’t they?
They did it successfully in 2008.

Except this time Zoomers went “nah bruh, ima go play Fortnite” and suddenly all management really has left is their money. (It’s really the only thing they ever had.)
Suddenly the non-transitory money is transitory.

So the entire reason why MMT is actually starting to show cracks is because zoomers are are actually running on the instinct that the math doesn’t add up, rather than performing homosexual rallies which accomplish nothing and essentially just encourage people to get a shitty job.

No you stupid little child it is nothing to do with monetary theory which you are probably functionally incapable of actually understanding or discussing. It is simply the fact that for two generations we have measurable declining intelligence. Your post is a good example of that. You are stupid. Zoomers are even stupider. The solution is lower the entry requirements and reconfigure everything for even dumber people.

In 1984, New Zealand educator, James R. Flynn researched how much average IQ test scores had increased over the 20th century and found they increased by an average of 3 points per decade. Flynn attributed this increase to better nutrition. Flynn continued his work and other scientists followed suit until they all noticed that children born in 1975 reached ‘peak IQ’ and average intelligence had been dropping ever since. This is called the ‘Reverse Flynn Effect’.

No one knows for sure why IQs are dropping but a study by Norwegian scientists with access to 30 years of IQ test results for young adults determined that the drop was not due to genetics. The IQ scores of younger siblings dropped more than their older brothers and sisters, in spite of the same parentage and the trend was evident across age groups. This ruled out immigration, which was the most common theory about the cause of the Reverse Flynn Effect.

They're moronic from eating lead paint chips as kids. This is a vatnik conspiracy that instead of "VAX VAX VAX" they want to forget the fact that it is a less than miniscule amount of times we have either increased or decreased the size of our war footing and subsequently has anyone other than the United States emerged anywhere other than last place.

I'm not American and we're suffering to recruit here too. Basically, the men who are good enough for the armed forces can just go to the private sector to make much more money and not deal with the whole military bullshit.
Obviously, I got no data about the American armed forces, but I can guarantee one thing: if OP's pic looks bad, keep in mind it's the tip of the iceberg because the retention rate in specialized positions (from tech to pilots) is shit.

zoomers for the most part are smart enough to avoid military service and there's enough jobs where you are treated at least a bit better.
I still think the most moronic generation are the boomers.

      >t.millenial

The plain fact is 'milennial' that you are literally relatively stupid, not so much as it can be immediately noticed (that is zoomers) but enough. If you want to know why there is no new great literature, poetry music, film, cinema, just capeshit, spaceshit, swordshit and autotune despite the incredible tools left to mileniials and zoomers, look no further. There has been no real innovation since the 19990s either. Millennials themselves seem to be aware of this, as youths there was a great deal of squawking from them about only working as 'creative's. While they had impaired intelligence they seem to have had self awareness that their complete failure to be able to produce anything new that built on the preceding generations would call their bluff on faking it. In fact the fake it to make it seems to define the milennial approch. Lights are on, no intelligence is home. As regards zoomers...well 14 IQ point difference between teh average GenX and average Zoomer a generation that worship an actual moron like Gretta...but wait the children of zoomers will have difficulty operating simple machines or caring for themselves and be completely incapable of maintaining advanced civilisation. John B Calhoun saw it all.

No you stupid little child it is nothing to do with monetary theory which you are probably functionally incapable of actually understanding or discussing. It is simply the fact that for two generations we have measurable declining intelligence. Your post is a good example of that. You are stupid. Zoomers are even stupider. The solution is lower the entry requirements and reconfigure everything for even dumber people.

        https://www.researchgate.net/publication/338633042_THE_REVERSAL_OF_THE_FLYNN_EFFECT_2020

For years indicators of cognitive abilities and academic competencies suggested that humans’ ability to effective cope with their environment is improving (dubbed the Flynn effect). Recent evidence suggests that this trend may be turning. This study explores data obtained from the Program for International Student Assessment for an intentional sample of 9 countries over the last 6 years and suggests that indeed there is evidence of substantial decrease in students competencies and literacy in Language (writing) and Math beyond possible economical, and national factors. The relevance of the results to education and its potential implications are discussed.

Note that this process of decline in intelligence (it is not limited to decline in language or mathematical) predates the internet. Millennials are definitely stupid but not immediately noticeably so. Zoomers are actually borderline moronic and their children will be moronic. Much of the effected pretension of millennials is in fact an attempt by them to camouflage their reduced intelligence so they are not penalised in social status. Fascinatingly enough they also have a predilection for cheating for example rehearsing IQ tests. Zoomers....the average zoomeris mentally challenged tryingt o pick out clothes to wear appropriate for the weather outside. The lower end of zoomer intelligence cannot even begin to tell the difference between facts and advertising. Did Kayne West really get described as a musical genius by a generation? Yes he did.

You could say that the Flynn Effect is down to our progress as a species. So why, as we are still evolving, is our IQ now dropping? The data shows that from the 1970’s onwards, our intelligence has started falling.

In one study, data was used from compulsory IQ tests given to young Norwegian military servicemen between 1970 and 2009. Over 730,000 results were collected. The results suggested that each generation dropped an average of 7 IQ points.

There you go, there is a fairly average and representative example of the decline in intelligence in zoomers and millennials. You can be absolutely certain that this subject does not even realise he is mentally deficient either but believes himself just as capable or more capable than someone of high intelligence.

This is because millennials got min-maxed into crystallized intelligence by their educational system and no child left behind and crap. (Memory, Math, and Recollection).
They prefer to memorize answers and copy paste articles about the reverse Flynn effect because it’s all they are good at.

Fluid Intelligence (Pattern recognition, Problem Solving) is basically non existent in the education system.
But it is existent in video games.
However Zoomers are still stuck on the currently broken education system.
So I think Zoomers will get an appreciable but small bump in pattern recognition and problem solving.
But still be just a bad as millennials, because if they don’t min-max crystallized intelligence they won’t make it through the education system.

      Again, skill issue.

The reversal of the Flynn effect is why GenX actually hates everyone. Everyone older then them tends to be stupider and ever one younger tends to be stupider. Not just that but they are demographically smaller in number. It is unsurprising that ideocracy resonates with them.
