daily reminder that any "pcc" that is blowback and not full auto is pointless for anything but a range toy.
get a SBR. less felt recoil and more force for the same weight.

Nah. imo pcc is a good choice for home defense.

Why the frick would you use a pistol caliber for any scenario where you need to kill something? moron take.

Because over penetration is a thing

Pistol calibers are more likely to overpenetrate than 223 which will fragment as soon as it hits something.

not true, watch paul's video where he blasts through a bunch of drywall and a layer of plywood using .223. .223 will frag after it hits a dude in the chest, but if you miss you're still blasting through walls with enough energy to kill your toddler. not that anon and not making an argument for pccs either, which i agree are worse. if overpenetration is a massive concern, as is the case in townhouses and apartments, probably run a semi shotgun with #2 or 3 buck

I think semi auto, suppressed, pistol/sbrs are great options for hearing safe subsonic home defense. Not everyone needs the super and sub utility of 300 blk. It does need a real locking system and not just blowback though.

      >pointless
It still puts bullets downrange and "more force" won't mean all that much when it comes to shooting the chucklehead who just kicked your door in in the middle of the night. At hallway distances an AR doesn't provide substantial killing utility over 9mm unless you start talking soft armor, which isn't common among the type of people you are likely to have to shoot in a defensive scenario.

Aero is good for builders but PCCs are cringe unless they're SMG clones

        >muh HD
        homie build a 300blk pistol

blowback PCCs are fine as long as you aren't spending more than 600 dollars on them.

      >get a SBR
Everytime you pull the trigger indoors it's a flash bang

Congrats now it's 16" again and your can is now in an evidence locker

factual, but there's nothing wrong with rangetoys unless you're so utterly destitute that 100% of your gun budget has to go directly into self-defense.

    >a semi auto, 16” version of what should be a full auto SBR, and a gay name like PCC instead of SMG

My heart breaks. An entire category of guns that exist as testament to how cucked our gun laws are.

I'd rather buy a 10/22 and look a lot less gay and stupid.

They're a good company. Do you see their guns exploding? Are there ARs that are breaking? Just buy any fricking AR, none of them break, they're all the fricking same.

I have a saiga 9. It shoots well, accurate, never jams but it boring as frick. I could never sell any of my guns but that would be the 1st to go. Soo pointless

PCC's are only good for suppressing.
A good PCC that is good for suppressing is a good PCC.
Long barrel direct blowback has some real disadvantages for suppressing in that it sends a lot of gas to the user, especially if you're left handed. An AR style charging handle also doesn't help.
My opinion, a sealed back end is a serious advantage for a PCC. Ruger Carbine, CZ Scorpion etc would be my preferred choice.
I have a Kel-tec sub 2000 but it sucks to shoot. I don't recommend it.

Th KP9 runs great suppressed. It’s pretty heavy but that really helps it soak up recoil and you have great follow up shots. Trigger is great out of the box. It’s my home home defense gun.
Another reason not to want a rifle cartridge is that 556 sbr suppressed still isn’t hearing safe. Indoors and your ears will be ringing hard. 9mm out of a 9in barrel isn’t too bad and you have subsonic options. I don’t expect to have a threat 30 9mm+P out of a 9.5in barrel won’t be able to handle.

I’d recommend a PSA AKV though. KUSA has gone down hill and I wouldn’t trust them. The PSA has cheaper mags, last round hold open, and is cheaper.

USPSA PCC competitors in states that ban SBRs. Outside of this specific reason I have no idea why you'd want one.

well it's a pcc with a full length barrel, so everyone at the range will know who is on the other side of the glory hole. but you do you, I guess.

    For what purpose?
Even just in terms of making the gun quieter, you're hitting diminishing returns.
