Wait a second, I'm not even remotely Greek, and my feet are that shape. Grand parents are Dutch and German on one side and English and French on the other.
It's just a name for it. I am mostly Irish but all my family has Greek foot shape. I think it is because Greek statues typically had those foot proportions.

1. They have to FIT. Not too big, not too small, but exactly. No "But I want a little space", no "Oh, they're a tiny little bit too small, but that'll wear in"
2. They won't be waterproof forever, at some point they'll get leaky, especially between the toes
3. They're okay for cool temps, like 0-5°C, for a short time. You WILL get cold feet if you're out and about for longer than, say, 2-3 hours at those temps. Lower, and don't even try
Here is what you need to know:
1. They are born out of the paleo tend. but no one ever wore footwear like that at any time in history.
2. Don't just go from the modern shoes you've been wearing your whole life to these. The muscles in your lower leg, feet, the connective tissue, and the skin of your feet have all been affected by your modern shoes and it needs time to strengthen and adapt to different footwear.
3. Buy some toe socks and some middling foot shaped shoes like thicker sole Altras. This is a good way to start the process of adapting.
4. Once you get used to the above wear thinner soles...like Altra Lone Peaks. Then maybe the super thin ones like Vivobarefoot or Xero.
5. Then when you can wear those all the time without pain, get the toe shoes if you really want but you won't be gaining much of anything. Some slight improvement in foot strength, specifically your toes will learn to grip more.
i legitimately think that looking like such a collosal homosexual wearing these would be a greater determent to your well being than wearing any normal shoe
bought one of these to help the big toe, but i don't know if it's a good fit, or if it's just the foot that needs to adapt:
I usually wear around 41, so i bought a 41, but i feel the big toe lacks just a tiny bit of room to fully extend. All the other fingers are fine, the pinky might even have too much room
They are called Water Shoes on amazoon and sell for low as 12$-35$ usd.
The high end stuff like up to 170$ is made in the same china factory.
I appreciate the cheap stuff for barefoot walking
I have had pain in feet that got extreme wearing cushion trail runners. I really can't stand high built up support shoes anymore.
Next step is making some cool leather moccasins.
Who has middle toes bigger than their big toe?

Pretty interesting. My wife had Egyptian feet. She's Polish. I wonder if Egyptian statues fillow the same pattern.
There is no science behind that graphic and most of us heavily mixed even if our previous 10 ancestors lived in a certain part of the world.
Sure Yiannis
Tf I’m Scandinavian and Irish by blood, yet I have Egyptian feet?

My first two are about the same length, then it's Egyptian
About 20% of the population
I had them when all the hype was around, they’re pretty hood
cool for deadlift, but those outdoor versions are moronic. Your feet will freeze with that shit.

That's the advice.

I used to use them for rowing and I was the fastest runner on the team in them.
The real thing is cheaper, adapts an has a self repair function.

To be fair, OP could always get a pair of barefoot shoes that look like regular shoes.

Don’t wear EL-Xs on a rocky trail
They’re too thin and your feet will hurt from all the poking
t. hasn’t been able to replace his old KSOs

Just don't. They're even more moronic than they look.
