A question for?

How should I spend my last $150?
>Use it to upgrade my Uberti Cattleman II with a non-cucked hammer
or
>Get myself another regular Heritage Rough Rider to turn into a slip gun (pic related)
I trust that you will not lead me astray. 😀
>"You killed my Ukraine Thread!"
Good.

Those ubertis aren't cheap. The fact that you need to spend $150 to unfrick that piece of shit means you should just cut your losses and sell it off before you cause another problem "fixing" it. And I would sooner trust a g2c to protect me than some flimsy pot metal single action revolver.

      >"sell it off"
If it was just any gun sure, selling it would be a no-brainer, but it is my first gun and I'd like to keep it around because it holds sentimental value to me, it's a physical reminder to suppress my impulsive behavior, and I've bought reloading supplies to supplement it (44-40). I'll take that "You're moronic" now.
      >"And I would sooner trust a g2c to protect me than some flimsy pot metal single action revolver."
My Rough Rider holds up just fine, besides not every gun needs to be bought for protection purposes you know. I'm interested in buying it for fun first and foremost, and as a cheap way to get into the art of the slip gun secondly.

Tell that to the $5k I have on the side, this $150 is the last of the "buy something for your hobby" money.

Save it my friend. Don't waste it on something now when you can use it to make something greater. You could save up more and get a reloading set up so you can shoot your SAA until the cows come home, or get another SAA and turn it into a slip gun. It would be pretty cool to see some webms of that if you managed it btw.

          >"get a reloading set up"
I did that already; some parts are still heading my way.
          >"get another SAA and turn it into a slip gun. It would be pretty cool to see some webms of that if you managed it btw."
I mean that's what option two is all about.

Why not just save it for something better like someone who's destined to not always be a poorgay?

I'm bored and want to give myself more projects to do right away; though if you have any suggestions for "better" then I would love to hear it.

          >How should I spend my last $150?
          Why are you poor

          I bought more reloading stuff.

No it's not. Rough Riders feel like dogshit and look like it to boot. Plus it's a .22 which is gay. Save your money or get some more primers or bullets.

              >"Rough Riders feel like dogshit and look like it to boot."
And it's cheap, which means if I screw up on it, then nobody will cry about it; perfect practice.
              >"Plus it's a .22 which is gay."
With all due respect, I find it hard to take someone seriously if they cannot understand the joys of shooting a .22.
              >"Save your money or get some more primers or bullets."
I have enough primers for the time being, though I suppose I could buy a little more lead to later turn into bullets.

Casting is pretty fun anon, but you kind of get into diminishing returns on it.

Even if that's true, the ability to actually feed my 44-40 gun more than makes up for it.

Again. Why are you poor? And spending $150 on goofy bullshit.
Actually, I might have answered my own question.

              >"Brags about $5k"
Bragging? I was just showing that guy that everything has been planned out beforehand and had I been impulsive I would have far less on me (very tempting given that there's some very pretty single action revolvers out there).
              >"Why are you poor?"
Why do you care? I'm not homeless anon. Answer my initial question or offer up a cool alternative to save up for or please leave and have a nice rest of your day.
              >"And spending $150 on goofy bullshit."
I take it you're more of a semi-auto kind of guy? If yes then it's no surprise it all looks goofy to you, but I do have my reasons for the two options I have on the table. Replacing the hammer on my Uberti improves reliability, and the Rough Rider will make for cheap practice before I dare lay my hands on the more pricier single action revolvers to convert into slip guns later down the line. If I succeed, then I get a fun little tricked out gun to amuse me and practice on, and if not, then I get spare parts for my other Rough Rider to cannibalize from. Nothing goofy here, the options have their reasons for existing and were not the result of impulsive behavior.
