Not sure I get exactly what you mean, but I think I get the general idea. To me it always seemed like there is a type of gun collector that is like collecting barbie dolls but for adult men. It's just consumerism, collection-hoarding. It reminds me a lot of people buying stupid shit like Beanie Babies or I guess you can say Funko-Pops. In general I find that juvenile and shallow/pointless. But it's not my money so if they want to do it that's fine, but it is cringe to me.
Inspiration for my own shenanigans, mostly. I shoot weekly. There's only so much shooting I can do before going home and watching other people shoot, so I can think of new and exciting ways to shoot things.
Gun content is stale as fuck. Guntube died with James Yeager who was always stirring up some shit even on his death bed. Remember he was trying to train Ukranians while he was slurring and shitting his adult diaper? That's quality content.
Did you just end a sentence with a preposition? >Where is the good content
You mean like comprehensive reviews? Well, those require HD cameras, editing software, at least a thousand rounds of ammunition, and the gun itself of course. These things are expensive, time consuming and you would be lucky if your video remained on YouTube much less monetisable to alleviate the cost. But what if the ammunition was a gift and the gun loaned to you for the video? Well, that would certainly be a more tenable situation, but sponsors might expect their products to be represented in the most positive light— oh, wait
what kind of content do you want?
caliber arguments? plenty of that
instruction on how to shoot good? plenty of that
how guns work? plenty of that
gun history? plenty of that
gun politics? plenty of that
muh BOOG? plenty of that
>what kind of content do you want?
antique guns being sensuously disassembled, lubricated, reassembled, tenderly loaded, and passionately shot.
The presenter must, and I stress this MUST, be a e-boi.
if there was a game that allowed for this kind of depth, i guarantee you someone would end up being a vtuber for it. that's the only situation in which this isn't weird. also if you DO want weird, gun bunnies are literally a thing. they are shit, everyone but you hates them, they contribute nothing of value, but your retarded ass would simp for it i'm sure
only if the gun bunny has in depth knowledge of even the most obscure antique firearms, and is capable of conveying that knowledge with even more proficiency than FW
How to train and defend a small self-sufficient community (think Orania while South Africa is having a famine) while the rest of the world breaks down around you. Different to "muh BOOG" which is civil war fantasizing that isn't going to happen, because people will want to survive more than they want to die.
Alternatively, Carnikcon-tier content that is actually fun and high effort instead of just typical lazy repeated garbage like Kentucky Ballisitcs.
anyway, you'll be surprised to know that literally all hobbies have been taken over by $oyboys, because guess what? most men are basedboys in america unless they're over 40, and even then, it's a fair chance. if you have a hobby, some estrogenic fag has made 1k videos and blog posts and discord rants about it, and it's going to be a large portion of the content you see.
my advice? don't watch it. any *tube is meant for people who passively enjoy the hobby once a year and watch videos to lie to themselves that they still enjoy it, or for outside-looking-in people who have zero interest in the hobby but just want to be voyeurs. it makes zero sense, but as far as i can tell that is the only reason for this content. >online gun people don't like it because it's faggy >fellow 5oygunners don't like it because it's competition >most normal gun people don't even care or knows this exists >any valuable information can be gleaned from forum posts or videos far outdating whatever the fuck thumbnail this is
now, there is legit content on youtube. tutorials? yeah. reviews? absolutely. but anything post-2016 is going to be this bullshit. once people commodified yt content it became universally shit because production value became a thing, and it became a race to the top. shit like this rakes in views
you can always use the good old search bar, the last reason I'd use youtube because alternative sites have shit search.
Many small name won't show up until you look into certain detailed topics because how they title the video, and usually is their specialty. You search generic terms you get generic videos.
He's one of the few reviewers that gives actual negative reviews of firearms, even ones he was hyped for.
My current favorite reviewer is The Humble Marksman since he's an actually good competition shooter. It sucks being interested in a gun and having to wait for him to give his verdict on it after everyone else just kind of says "Yep, it's good, shoots real flat and it COULD win competitions out of the box." or some shit like that.
>Honest Outlaw >here are my top 15 striker fired 9mm short recoil tilting barrel guns that are basically the exact same which I tested by doing nothing but shooting plate racks next to my house
The definition of "gunkopop" shit.
>youtube >good gun content
lol
lmao
Everything worth shit (gunsmithing + reloading guides) has been purged.
If you watch e-celeb videos you are mentally ill, regardless of whether they hold guns or not.
>Find video(s) on weapon >Fast forward to weapon being fired >Ignore everything else >Close video
Don't tell me you people ACTUALLY watch entire videos with the talking head droning on and on
9-Hole Reviews is great. It focuses way more on the technical side of shooting, especially precision shooting.
Garand Thumb has good production value, but he's not for everyone
ForgottenWeapons is always good as well
Ballistic High-Speed is interesting if you like watching bullets in slow motion. Same with The Slo-Mo Guys (I just recently learned Gavin actually lives in Texas, pretty based)
Kentucky Ballistics and Demolition Ranch are both dad humor tier
>ForgottenWeapons is always good as well
this fucking cocksucker is such a sellout right now. He just realased his third video where he shills a used p320 giveaway with a $50 enterence fee
The real reason is that there isn’t much to learn and it’s all been done before. The military is made up of drunken 18 year olds too stupid for college, it takes about 2 hours to teach a non retard all there is to know, the rest is to just keep the grift going to neverserves who never made anything of themselves coming back
you cant be progun and on youtube. this is a fact. fi you are on youtue you are pro-money and they are very careful not to get deplatformed even if its something regarding their 1st or 2nd amendment rights
Shut up gay you don't even own any guns why are you whining.
there is none. now get the fuck off my board.
What does this shit have to do with Ukraine?
reddit
You go to Odyssey and tune in to channels too Hispanicy for Youtube like Papa Kilo

why are you looking at people shoot guns instead of shooting guns?
>you don’t talk, you watch talk shows… you don’t play games, you watch game shows.

>fat guy who gets smoked with a 7min mile instead of warmed up
OPINION DISCARDED.
I'm 190lbs and would also get smoked doing a 7 minute mile, despite having completed a half marathon
One 7 min mile aint bad. String 3 together, oof. But doable. A close friend of mine from college does a 5k in close to 18 min, thats 3x6min miles.
No you dont understand you MUST instantly teleport five nautic miles to be fit
you have to do a 7 minute mile x2 to be able to join the US military...
no the fuck you dont retard
Max score is 13:22/2
Min score is 22/2
At lowest age group
Just watch Paul Harrell ffs, he'll put you to sleep so just rewatch the parts you're asleep for infinitely
expecting good videos on youtube in 2023 is like expecting good threads on PrepHole in 2023

What's wrong with hickock? He's got a relaxing voice.
he’s a fudd who’s against the 2nd amendment

If they get sponsored they are just salesmen. Nobody with sponsorships has ever said anything worth listening to.
9-hole reviews
USOG
Fortunecookie45LC
Elvis Ammo
Art's Gun Shop
The Real Gunsmith
Paul Harrell (When he does something interesting)
Just wait until you figure out that the reviews are all fake lately
Is nutnfancy still around?
his last review was an air rifle
Really love C&Rsenal, 9hole, hate cringe like "risky chrisky".
